sooo spent the rest of sunday packing for a month long trip and then spent monday packing up my car with everything plus my cat

and then driving 303 miles in 7 hours with awful traffic to a place i'll be staying for an entire month

on the way up here we passed the place where my bbc sounds app had unglitched

and whilst driving at 78 mph i had heard Nick say my name on the radio

and then i was thinking noooooooo

it CAN'T be me it cannot possibly be me it's another person with my name bc noooooo

but then i heard MY OWN VOICE

on the radio

and then i listened to Nick absolutely mock the hell out of me with jordan

whilst i simultaneously melted and exploded and smiled so harrrrrrd but also sobbed and laughed hysterically

whilst driving at 78 mph

i still can't believe i didn't crash mr car

i'd pulled off the highway at the next exit and i don't remember howww i got there but i sat at a truck stop surrounded by enormous shipping trucks

and continued my breakdown

anyway

it's been almost exactly 2 years since then

it was july 8th, 2021

and to rub salt in the wound he replayed the entiiiiiiire thing again on his show on monday

that was july 12th, 2021

ahhhhhh the mortification is still in my bones

but also

the ABSOLUTE JOY

so now here we are again and my cat won't leave me alone and kept walking on me all last night

it's like he's checking i'm still here and thinking i'm going to leave him :((
