i miss the times back in shadowbringers. don’t get me wrong i love how things are in endwalker but there was just ?? something so magical about shb to me ???

That timeline makes me wonder where HS fit into it all or if he even did during those years outside of writing songs about each other.

I don't think they seemed that close in the 2021 and 2023 grammys. To me, the interaction looked like they hadn't talked in a long time but that's just the feeling I got from it.

I also remember when he wore the midnights coded outfit I think the same night she wore the midnights dress during the 2022 VMA's afterparty. Not sure if that was a coincidence or if they had gotten in contact around that time.

The most confusing thing was what happened once her breakup became public. He was single then and instead she got with MH? With them both being available for the first time in years, you would've thought they would've jumped at the opportunity based on all the songs written throughout the years.

That timeline is about her break up with Joe, Harry stuff is in this timeline. I don't think she left Joe for Harry, or that they even dated in 2021.

My pure speculation is that 'The 1' and 'Late Night Talking' did happen while they were both in LA in the pandemic. She didn't want to break up with Joe, so H went back to Europe. In California Harry refers to a 'Summer's death left to breath'. Love of my Life is about letting her go, it was written early 2021.

He approached her, in public, at the 2021 Grammys, (which is unlike him) it was maybe an olive branch and it was the first time they spoke in public since 2012 - who could blame them for being tense.

In May 2021 they were both at the Brits, no photos together, Joe was in Belfast. Seems like nothing - were it not for for Glitch.

By October 2021 he made heart eyes high in the crowd in Nashville, changed that setlist to include TBSL. It was the day after one of their anniversaries. She was in Nashville. While there, he wrote Satellite at Cave Studio - the song says 'I can see you're lonely, don't you know that I am right here'. Then matching outfits for re-records started.

Then 'You're losing me' written in December. HH came out in March 2022, Joe interacts stopped. I also assume she was at the NY ONO show, she was in NY. H touring and dating OW until October 2022. Midnights has songs on it that imply they had spent time together.

The 2023 Grammys was even more public because it was a full audience, she came over to him, knowing it would be on the internet. They touched, fist bumped, hugged, held eye contact. He touched the bare skin on her back. Which.... he 'should think about the consequence of touching her hand in a darkened room'.

That timeline has Matt Healy on it too. .... Taylor and Tree would have had the Joever announcement well planned, Invisible String on the setlist and all, and considered who she publicly dates first after. People were really invested in Joe, that announcement was for the fans, not Taylor.

Again speculation, but I think they think of each other as End Game and maybe aren't ready for that. But if they were, she wouldn't go public with a very famous, very divisive relationship lightly, quickly or as the first after Joe. Although I do think think in 1989 vaults and media have given them an updated fan temperature on it.

So like y'know how when you're a teenager you're growing more and learning more things about yourself and really beginning to formulate who you are as a person and how you feel about yourself and the world around you? It kinda all started there.

I created Mary when I was 15 years old (more or less, it's been a while but I'm pretty sure it was 15). Ever since the first time I drew Mary I had the idea in my head that maybe she could be a transgirl. Maybe. I was never really decided, and because Mary, especially in her original conception, was someone who was treated a lot more terribly and underwent a lot more targeted violence--I didn't want to give the impression that I was someone who wanted to see harm against transpeople and especially transwomen, because they're some of the most vulnerable people out there and need all the protection and support they can get!!

But that idea always stuck in my head--that maybe she is and maybe she isn't and in that way she was always kinda both to me.

As I started making games and my audience grew I felt that suddenly there might be this kind of pressure. Like I had to commit to one and that by refusing to commit to one I was doing a disservice to my audience and the people who enjoyed my content.

Around summer of 2021(?) I implied a lot more heavily that Mary was definitively transfem, and it affected me so intensely I had to stay off the internet entirely for a few days. I wasn't sure why it made me feel so strongly, and I knew it wasn't something I could backtrack on either. Not just because I didn't want to feel like I was disappointing anyone but because backtracking also felt like lying. I knew I couldn't say "Mary is cisgender" because that also didn't feel right and made me feel just as bad when I thought about it. Neither alone felt true in those moments.

It wasn't until I was able to talk to a good friend that they were able to talk me down from my emotions running so high that I was able to realize that Mary's full identity being ambiguous brought me comfort in how I feel towards my own gender identity.

I have often struggled with girlhood but probably not in the ways that are familiar to most people. I'm not going to talk too much about it because that is my own private business that I lightheartedly don't owe anyone to get into. (And I still emphatically insist you see me as a girl and use she/her pronouns for me!)

Mary can't just be one or the other for me. She has to be both, it is the way that feels the most correct and comfortable for me. If you think Mary is a cisgirl that's 100% true and canon, and if you think Mary is a transgirl that's 100% true and canon, even outside of headcanons or whatever else.

(And if you tell me she can't be, if you try, then you're wrong! /lh /ref)

In the end those are both just adjectives anyways. Both cisgirls and transgirls are still just girls in the end, and to me that makes Mary most true to herself and part of what makes her the most girl of all time in my eyes!

I hope that makes sense and in a way you can understand! I have to do what feels the most right for me and I think this is simply the way she's meant to be. ♡

"okay okay truth or dare jungwon?" jake asks. the laughter from last round calms down and everyone turns to jungwon. the seven boys were playing a game of truth or dare before class starts.

"uh dare," jungwon decides. ouu's are heard from others after he made a bold decision.

"hmm i dare you to make the next girl who walks in fall in love with you," a smug smirk appears on jake's face.

"okay done," jungwon confidently says.

all seven boys stare at the door, waiting for someone to walk in.

as footsteps grow louder from the hall, someone finally walks in. shock and disbelief waves over the boys.

y/l/n y/n. known as the schools most damaged heart. a little over a year ago she was one of the happiest, most joyful students in the school. she is was borderline perfect. pretty, smart, friendly, and so much more. and when she fell in love with the schools most popular boy, it went uphill for her. choi yeonjun. though he was a playboy everyone believed they were truly in love and going to last for a lifetime. but on their six month anniversary everything went down hill.

y/n found out yeonjun cheated on her with her best friend. it broke her heart. after that, y/n never loved again, and yeonjun graduated. her "perfect life" out the door. from then she stay alone and quiet.

"well well y/l/n y/n. the lucky victim. good luck jungwon," jake laughs in disbelief.

"it can't be that hard, come on," jungwon brushes it off.

"so if you can't make her fall in love by christmas, you owe me free kimbap until summer break."

"easy, and if she does fall in love by halloween, you owe me free kimbap until summer break."

shaking hands the deal is set, all rules in place. the last step was to make y/n fall for jungwon.

I hope I have appeased whatever ocean spirit possessed me this summer. Here is the final list of everything I read/watched/listened to/played/etc over the last several months while my entire personality became about the ocean. (Almost - planning on watching Deep Star Six (1989) after I finish writing this post and making dinner!)

So that's 12 books (including 2 anthologies), 13 films, 4 video essays, 2 short stories, 2 subreddits, 1 game, and 1 TV episode.

Top 5 (in no particular order)

Our Wives Under the Sea, Julia Armfield -- beautiful, both in the descriptions of the deep sea and in its depictions of grief. Florence Welch blurbed it and Florence + the Machine takes 3 spots on the playlist so this definitely set the vibes of the summer.

Whalefall, Daniel Kraus -- reminded me of NOPE (2022) and that's a high compliment. It's also about grief but the kind of grief where there should have been a reckoning, and you'll never get that closure. Truly excellent, honestly I still have the library book because I'm not ready to give it back.

Sea Fever (2019) -- obviously owes a lot of its plot to the 1989 slate of ocean horror films coming out that were in imitation of Alien (1979) and attempting to preempt James Cameron's The Abyss (1989), in that it's about a creature from the deep that possesses the crew of a fishing trawler off the west coast of Ireland...but a moody atmosphere, gorgeous cinematography, and mythological inspiration just makes this a good watch.

"Fear of Depths", Jacob Geller -- honestly all the youtube videos on this list are worth it but I'm highlighting this one because I just love it when youtubers go on field trips. Like yes Jacob go stand in that cave and read your script for our entertainment and edification, yesss

The Toilers of the Sea, Victor Hugo -- ok the thing about Hugo is that his novels often carry social messaging - about poverty, class, the nature of justice, investment in cultural hegemony - and Toilers' thematic messaging is just: what the fuck are you doing in the ocean why are you going in there, don't you see how fucked up the ocean is, leave it alone- (...perhaps a more relevant text for billionaires than Les Misérables? XD) Ok, I'm mostly kidding but truly his depictions of the sea are some of my favorite bits of Hugo prose, I really think this book is underrated in the anglophone world.

Please feel free to ask me for more reviews of the other works on the list and I can give more thoughts! For now I'll just say that I had a lot of fun with the cheesy 80s/90s movies (the later ones don't quite carry the same charm but were still pretty fun even if they weren't 'good'), the books are pretty solid with the exception of They Came From the Ocean by Boris Bacic, which is my only 'do not recommend' on the list. (It wasn't well written, didn't use the setting very effectively, and got weirdly homophobic towards the end in a way that was impossible to tease out from a character decision and made me feel kind of weird?) There is also a smaller, slightly less cohesive list for the second part of this series but it gives away the thematic shift so I'll stick to ocean horror for now. This was an interesting summer. I guess I should probably...read something other than ocean horror now. XD

i'm sorry i'm just responding to this now but i hope this is a nice distraction for you!!!

here are plenty of things about him! i'll put this under a read more because i could talk about svechy for hours 🫶

he came to the united states to play hockey as a 16 year old with his mom to play for the muskegon lumberjacks of the USHL, all while knowing zero english which also goes to show how dedicated and intelligent he is because his english is amazing now

he grew up in russia very poor and he and his family sometimes didn’t know if they would even have clothes or food to eat

he wants to make a better life for his parents because of this and most likely gave them his signing bonus after he signed an 8 year contract (x)

his family is the most important thing to him

his brother evgeny is also a hockey player who is currently on the winnipeg jets. andrei also wears number 37 for no other reason than it was his brother’s number

andrei has called his brother his hero many times 🥺

and that he's helped him with hockey so much and owes the lacrosse goals he's scored to evgeny first showing it to him

which by the way he is the first player in NHL history to score a michigan goal 👑

his first hockey memory was also crying because he couldn't play with his brother like!!!!!!

one of andrei's biggest dreams was to play in the NHL with his brother and they finally got to in march 2021

also have this picture of little drei in a teletubbies shirt for no reason other than it's the cutest thing i've ever seen in my entire life

his dad watches every single one of his games even though he lives in russia and it’s a 7 hour time difference so he makes coffee so he can stay up and watch andrei play 🥺

his favorite thing his mom makes is borscht which is beet soup

he loves sweets but tries to stay away from them during the season and his favorite russian candy is alenka chocolate

his favorite food that he hadn’t tried before living in the US is sweet potato fries because they quote "makes him happy and tastes good" 😭

he goes to a training camp in russia every summer which takes up all of his time and he says he doesn’t have a life because of it. waking up at 5 am and skating, working out and doing track and field in the evening which he says is his least favorite because he hates running and he’s so tired by then end of it that he goes to bed at 9 pm

he is known for being a hard worker and is very hard on himself. rod brind’amour has to tell him to go home sometimes if he’s still at the rink or in the gym. he even stays at the rink after games working on what he can do to get better:

i sent in an Eivor request and was wondering when it might be completed. it’s been a few weeks now. if you don’t want to write it that’s fine! i’ll check with another author who wrote for him.

I was just going to turn a blind eye to this ask, but you know what? no. I am one of many fanfic writers on this site that is tired of being treated like crap. I put in hours of work, hours of my own time, writing what I want and fulfilling requests for friends and strangers all for FREE. only to never be reblogged by the person who requested it, to never even get a reply to the post or a DM to say 'hey, thanks for writing my request, I liked the story.' I'm tired of it. and now you want to put time restraints on how long it takes me to fulfill a request that you sent me? lmao.

to get things started off, my requests are currently closed. they have been since the summer of 2021. had you looked at my pinned post (which I'm assuming you did to even see that I took requests), then you would've seen this:

all the stories I've recently posted as responses to asks are me trying to catch up on requests, hence why I am not currently taking new requests. I still have over 10 requests in my inbox and numerous requests through DMs to write before I even think of opening my requests again. but if this is the new attitude? then I might just keep them closed forever now.

secondly, believe it or not. I have a life. I am an adult with responsibilities and a Ph.D. student. which means (even in the summer) I have to work sometimes 50 hours a week writing papers, being in the lab, and helping external users with analyses, even though I'm only paid for 20 of those hours (and for the cherry on top, the pay is shit to begin with).

forgive me for not having an endless amount of time to fulfill your request in less than two weeks when it's a big deal to just be able to cook a meal at night or have an hour to watch TV or play a game. and may I remind you, WHAT I DO WRITE IS ALWAYS FREE. but it's not really free is it? it costs time to write, edit, format, and fight Tumblr's shitty post editor to make sure I don't forget people on my taglist. I am not being paid, this is not a hobby for me, not a ko-fi side hustle.

and lastly? my motivation to write has been shit as of late because I know what the response is going to be like. my friends and mutuals will reblog (and I love them for it) and then it'll be ratioed to hell by likes. when the notes on a post look like this, that's an issue. and it's why content creators are leaving this site or not posting as much as we used to.

I'm not writing for clout but when there is a reblog to like ratios like this on every single fic? and when the person who requests said fic isn't even among the reblogs? it's a slap in the face. it's mindless consumption which isn't what fandom should be about.

if you want more content on Tumblr, it is a two-way street. you have to interact with us by reblogging posts. you should reply with a simple comment, even if it's just 'hey I enjoyed this story' or 'this was cool.' otherwise? don't be surprised when your favorite writers, artists, editors, gif makers, etc stop creating and leave. if you can hit a like button (which does absolutely nothing) you can take one more second and reblog too.

and idk, if you want a story written with a super quick turnaround time maybe you should consider starting to write yourself. quality over quantity in this house and in the words of Alton Brown "your patience will be rewarded." just ask @mrsragnarlodbrok who has waited sometimes 6 months to have a story written and posted. so yeah, rant over. get off your high horse anon. I don't owe you shit if this is your attitude toward fanfic writers.

I typically associate nyangi with electric blue, though the colors he wears most often are red, black, and white. Mostly red, though. He leans into the gamer aesthetic

3. Nyangi's weapon of choice is an ancient crowbar, though it hasn't seen much use. it was the first thing he stumbled across when looking for a way to protect himself, so he's gotten pretty attached to it.

5. While he likes to be comfortable, nyangi definitely favors fashion over function. He typically dresses in sweats and a t shirt, but they're like, $400 sweats and a $600 t shirt. he's gotta spend that esports money on something.

7. his favorite animals are vultures, but only aesthetically. for an animal he'd actually want to be around, koi fish, maybe? he doesn't actually like cats that much and gets annoyed when people assume he does

9. Nyangi's a simple man. he loves string cheese and eats it with just about everything. he's not a super picky eater, but more often than not he finds himself sticking to instant ramen because he figures he'll enjoy it more than whatever else he could get. Nyangi's least favorite food is anything mint-flavored. he'd rather eat toothpaste.

11. Oh boy... i do not have a lot in common with nyangi. i had to think about this one for a while... neither of us went to college and we're both loyal? As for differences, there's a lot but i think i can sum it up by saying that nyangi chooses the nuclear option whenever it's offered. i love him deeply but he and i would NOT get along at all and i never want to have to deal with someone like him irl LMAO

13. Nyangi is a native korean speaker, but doesn't speak any other languages fluently. he can understand a fair amount of english and he took french for a year in high school (it was required), but he doesn't feel comfortable speaking either.

15. Nyangi's an only child. his family is just him and his parents, and they don't often see other family growing up. in normalverse, nyangi's roommate was deos, but in Ad Terra he lives alone (apart from his crowbar)

17. Is it a copout to say he spent all his free time and summers gaming? nyangi was pretty shy as a kid and didn't have many friends before he got into Fantasy OW.

19. Nyangi has an astonishing temper and is laughably easy to provoke. Though he's able to hold it down when he's in front of people he respects, he otherwise doesn't see a point in turning the other cheek (though it's always "just a joke, [he's] not actually mad" if he gets called out on it). He's specifically very, very sensitive about his skills as a pro and hates being underestimated.

21. His favorite place to be is Igni Astra's original practice room! it was tiny and a pigsty (courtesy of fleck and splinter) but nyangi has nothing but good memories of it. though he's been in lots of other practice rooms since then, he's never been able to recapture the same kind of camaraderie and excitement he remembers.

23. Nyangi's voice is sharp and scratchy and I think his vocal range is also a low-ish tenor? he can't sing at all, which is partially due to how poorly hydrated he is. the man lives off of coffee, soda, and cheap alcohol.

25. Nyangi's hearing is completely average, but he's legally blind without his glasses.

27. (again making this favorite game) Nyangi's favorite game is FUBG (Fantasy Unknown BattleGrounds), but he doesn't ever play it without friends. As for his favorite solo game, he plays a lot of Fantasy Tetris.

29. I heavily associate nyangi with electricity and lightning. that's the reason i ended up making his surname Jeon (while 電 (meaning electricity) isn't the actual hanja for the last name jeon afaik, it's pronounced the same)! (it also makes his name even more of a dumb homonym, but that was completely accidental)

31. Nyangi doesn't have any particular feelings about gift-giving or receiving, but he does try to show off sometimes by buying expensive gifts. though he would never admit this to anyone (least of all himself) his ideal gift is someone giving him a hug and telling him they're proud of him :(

33. nyangi is pretty divisive among my ocs, though i think all of them would describe him using some version of the word "passionate." splinter would call him bratty and annoying, sale and deos wouldn't disagree with him but would add on that he's intelligent and "going places." fleck would say he's loyal to a fault, and seonjin would just plain call him annoying. as for roadster... it's complicated. he'd probably decline to respond.

35. in normalverse, nyangi does return home occasionally, but he doesn't like spending time with his parents. In Ad Terra, more metaphorically... you'll just have to wait and see :)c

Roxby’s ‘Human Alarm Clock’ Speaks Out: Part 2

(Publisher’s Note: This article is the second of a two-part series composed after extensively interviewing a former Roxby Development employee who stepped forward to tell her story once the president of the company, Jeffrey J. Morris, was charged with wire fraud by the federal government. U.S. Attorney William Ihlenfeld of the Northern District Court of West Virginia said in a statement more charges against Morris will follow in the future. A trial date has not been established.) Many of the employees have since made peace with each other. Not all, but most, Corinne Chamberlin believes. After unknowingly being placed in positions opposing one another, Roxby’s former “Human Alarm Clock” and a plethora of former employees of Roxby Development now believe they were made to be pawns in some undefined, one-man game. What they finally figured out was, she explained, the instigation was caused by the company’s founder himself. Jeffrey J. Morris, indicted on federal wire fraud charges on September 8 in the Northern District Court of West Virginia, registered Roxby Development W.Va. Secretary of State Office on February 2, 2020. By December 2021, the company owned the Scottish Rite Cathedral, Roxby Labs, the 12th Street Garage, and the McLure House Hotel, and there were more than 100 employees on the payroll. This past summer, however, Roxby was foreclosed on for both the hotel and the Scottish Rite, and Morris’s attempts to file for federal protections under Chapter 11 bankruptcy laws were dismissed because of a failure to maintain insurance for the properties. These renderings of the McLure Hotel were developed by former creative director Timothy O'Malley. Chamberlin, and most other employees, had quit long before the locks were changed on both buildings. “And there is a strong bond among most of us, that’s for sure. You know, there's like a trauma bond, and that bond is pretty thick with those of us who have gotten together since the whole thing fell apart,” Chamberlin explained. “If and when I see someone I know from working for Roxby, even if I was frustrated with them at some point, it's still there. That bond is still there, at least for me. “Because of the environment Jeffrey created, I think, people turned into monsters. That’s my opinion anyway,” she insisted. “When I run into most former employees now, the first thing I ask is if they are OK. And it’s immediate because of the concern I had for everyone when we were in the middle of it all. All the craziness. I got this impression he was putting people at odds in order to control.” Chamberlin’s role with Roxby included project management and event planning, but she was initially hired in October 2021 as Morris’s personal assistant. It was during those few months when Chamberlin noticed what she referred to as “abnormal behavior.” “Especially from someone who was supposed to be the person in charge,” she said. “I witnessed him saying one thing to me, one thing to another staff member, and then something completely different to someone else. I finally realized that it wasn't meant to be organized at all. “Honestly, I think I realized that because I felt like I was in survival mode the whole time, and now, I think everyone was in survival mode. It was chaotic. Just chaotic. And Jeffrey would complain that things were chaotic, but it was always his fault. He didn't let people help him. He either didn’t see it that way, or he just played the game he created.” Some parts of the Scottish Rite Cathedral exterior can be seen by motorists traveling W.Va. Route 2. A Shattered Dream Along with the investors, Roxby listed creditors like the electric, water, and gas companies, the police and fire departments, the payroll processor, the painter, the printer, the local newspaper and TV station, a lot of attorneys, and even Roto-Rooter on its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing dated May 1, 2023. In all, the failing development company stated it owed between $10-$50 million to between 50-99 creditors. Before the request was dismissed, Morris released a statement promising re-organization with a new management company that would “manage event, entertainment, and food & beverage operations at the Scottish Rite as well as the hospitality operations at the hotel.” At the time of the federal dismissal, Roxby employed only a few individuals at the McLure House Hotel. “I don't know. I really don't know why anyone would work for that company when so many of us had issues with getting paid. I mean, I guess they still believed in it, and they had put in so much emotion into it. Like so many others. Like I did,” Chamberlin said. “I don't know how much money anybody put in, but I know there were significant amounts invested. I think we all know that now. The top level of the McLure House Hotel offers impressive views of downtown Wheeling and its riverfront. “I know a lot of people put up with all the pay delays and the frustrations because the vision that was talked about was what everyone has always wanted to see take place in Wheeling,” she said. “It really was the dream come true for the city and everyone who lived in the area. Older residents remember when downtown Wheeling was the place to be with all the stores and restaurants, and younger people like me, well, wanted to see it all come back because it sounded pretty awesome.” But then Chamberlin smashed into her personal “Can’t do this anymore” wall. “My final straw was after Bluesfest in 2022 because a lot of us didn’t get paid by Roxby for working it, and when I found out that another staff member had not been paid. This person told me they couldn't afford to be behind so much,” Chamberlin explained. “They told Jeffrey they couldn’t afford not to be paid, and he had the gull to tell them they needed to do a different job. That was after he promised we'd be paid. That’s when I knew I was done. I was done. “I know some of my former co-workers hired lawyers, but I never did get one. I didn't want a lawyer to tell me I couldn't talk about it. I didn't want anyone else telling me I can't talk about it,” she added. “It's like, you know what? Just keep the money because I would rather tell anybody anything about the situation than let someone try to silence me about it. Because it was so wrong. ZORA - “Runnitup” / “Happiest I’ve Ever Been” / “All Around the World”

ZORA is the moniker of 22-year-old Minneapolis-based triple threat producer, singer, and rapper Zora Grey. Her music is finessed by the modern styles of stream-baiting aesthetics, but beneath its accessible lure are loud political statements that bring to the surface the experiences of those within the trans community and our shared capitalist hellscape. This summer, she’ll be releasing her debut album Z1 (more eloquently known as “The Cuntification of Zora Grey” on the album’s cassette spine) for Get Better Records, and every one of its previews released so far standing on their own feet with intentionality.

Lead single “Runnitup” hears R&B songwriter Myia Thornton joining ZORA in a track that puts her rap game into a blender with hyper-pop freakiness. What pours out is a sonic confrontation that’s timely for these inflation-fucked times. “I wanted to make a song about metaphorically running up on somebody who didn’t give us what we were owed. In reality, this song is pretty explicitly about US Capitalism and how we need to just overthrow it. I still have hope, at least.”

On “Happiest I’ve Ever Been”, again featuring Thornton, the pair navigate declarations of the surface level appearance versus a true reality in a slithering post-punk riff grating a cloud of confusion. “I had a pretty jarring mental health scare in the summer of 2021, and landed myself in the hospital over the 4th of July weekend. Once I got out, I used songwriting as a way to cope with my circumstances and speak up about what I had gone through, no matter how intense it was,” she said of its creation. “I wanted to make a song that sounded carefree, fun, and relaxing, accompanied by some of the darkest lyrics you’ve ever heard. Haha.”

Finally, on “All Around the World”, ZORA ushers in Pride and Black Music Month with a most pure sincerity in its symbolic energy for its communities, and assigns to a chest-puffing rap-pop beat that steps to the rest of the outside world without needing to explain herself. “With today’s climate, there are so many times that we only hear about trans people when we’re dying or at risk somehow, and I wanted to create a song to remind us just how powerful we are, and to remind the masses that we’re not going anywhere."

do you think Hits Different is haylor coded?

Hi, to me it is, though I think it is ambiguous as I think Taylor's feelings might have been. Aaron indicated it was an earlier song on Midnights. It was possibly written not very long after Renegade.

Timeline

Aaron mentioned it as one of the songs they wrote together, he mentioned it when saying they wrote High Infidelity in L.A. after Taylor saw Harry at the 2021 Grammy's. He mentioned The Great War also. (31 mins in Broken Record podcast)

I guess this somewhat depends on one's view of the Joever timeline and the Haylor aspects of Folklore. At that time Harry wrote As it was and LOML which are about moving on and there was a lot of reporting around OW.

In this pretty unsettling short she wore an Opal, Taylor's worn Opals since 2014 including the Cardigan video and says 'Opal eyes' in Ivy.

Bars feature a lot on Reputation, so many associate them with Joe, (who she started dating after a lot of the album was recorded.) however to me most of those songs are Haylor.

The Catastrophic blues, to me are most similar to Peace: "If your cascade ocean wave blues come." but I hear the lyric as Taylor is depressed.

'Movin' on was always easy for me to do' indicates Harry to me because, he is someone she hasn't been able to move on from because of the cyclical nature of it:

End Game "We tried to forget it, but we just couldn't" and "And I can't let you go, your handprint's on my soul"

Joe's worn a few baseball caps, though Taylor has also referenced Harry's hats before. In early interviews Niall said he wore them to hide his hair in public, so he wears them a lot. Including this green beanie in the 22 MV.

Hair, Stare and Sense of belief describe Harry well:

Finally, hallways and doors both feature a lot in Haylor songs, here the muse has a key. I guess this also depends on a perspective of the pandemic time, I don't find it a stretch to think H had a key to Taylors home. As far as I wonder if she even has a literal key anymore...
