01 - Are you named after anyone?

First name: nope Second name: yep, after my grandma

02 - When was the last time you cried?

About a week ago bc I was laughing too hard Also techinically this morning. My eyes just started tearing up a bit while I was still in bed & staring against the wall. I guess that white wall was just tugging at my heartstrings

03 - Do you have kids?

The only children I have are my OCs <3 My current beloved OCs are Aym, Marchosias (💖💖💖💖💖), and Baal; all for Obey Me

04 - What sports do you play/have you played?

So as a kid, I took MSE (self-defense) classes, I did ballet for a short while, and I played badminton. But now I'm not really doing much sports anymore. I'm occasionally working out in a sad attempt to stay healthy but that's...not working out all that well because I keep forgetting about it lol. That being said, I walk anywhere as long as it's a walkable distance away (to me, that's around 90min max), idc it's the European mindset. Der Fußbus hält überall :)

05 - Do you use sarcasm?

As if I would ever smh what are these accusations

06 - What is the first thing you notice about people?

When I pass strangers on the street, I try to look for little moments that bring them joy. That being said, 90% of the time I'm just lost in my own thoughts & have completely tunnel vision, so imagine noticing anything 😭 When I first meet people tho, it's usually the way they look at you, which tbh is a little ironic because I sometimes just cannot look people in the eyes NFDHSKGJHKSDLGS

07 - What's your eye color?

They used to be blue, but now they're more of a greyish green with a few brown spots in them

08 - Scary movies or happy endings?

Okay endings, actually! Where characters don't get the happy ending they were hoping for, and some things are still a little messy, but all in all things are okay and they finally get to breath again. Though I guess that's kind of a happy ending? lol

09 - Any talents?

My newest talent is being able to imitate the cry of an owl. My sister explained it to me earlier & once I got it to work I've been doing it non-stop until I got lightheaded 😭 Worth it tho Other than that, being able to teach myself the basics of a lot of things within a day (one of the upsides of ADHD), as well as abandoning a lot of my projects after a while because I suddenly decided to start a completely different one (one of the downsides of ADHD) I also have a real talent for writing angst. Ask any of my closer mutuals, I keep terrorizing them with my ideas (love you guys 💖) And finally: telling myself that I'll go to sleep early & then it's 5am

in Germanyyy fun fact: I was born more or less close to a town that has a store called 'Mephisto' lol

11 - What are your hobbies?

being insane, obviously 💚 some of my mutuals can surely attest to that lol No, but in general I enjoy writing & drawing, as well as, uhm. Randomly deciding to take up multiple really time-consuming projects, such as the OM card rec thing I did that I still need to update ahhhh, my Obey Me OC & MC ask game that originally had 200+ questions before I cut it in half out of fear of it being too long, half of my side blogs, and SOOOO many other things. <- or in short, being insane 💚 I also really love cooking & baking! Side note, if anyone wants an easy chocolate lava cake recipe, you just need to ask... 👀 Also lately it's just been romancing Thanatos in Hades because I randomly remembered that I hadn't done that yet

12 - Do you have any pets?

I used to have clownfish and a starfish, but other than that I've never had any myself. I love the dogs I dogsit with all my heart tho, and there is this cat that I sometimes meet on my way to work. She always runs up to me when she sees me and won't stop meowing until I start petting her, and last time she climbed onto my lap (I sat down in the middle of the sidewalk, I did not care lmao), she's literally the sweetest 😭😭 I also ring the doorbell for her whenever it rains so she doesn't have to stay outside lol

13 - How tall are you?

1,68m or 5'6 if I got the conversion correct lol

14 - Favourite subject in school?

Heavily depended on the teacher, but generally art class because we usually got to work on whatever we wanted with and listen to music. Also English in 9th grade, math in 10th and German in 11th because the teachers were great

15 - Dream job?

I've been thinking of translations in general/software localizition for a while now. I just love dissecting all the small differences between languages (D.D.D.s being called 'D3' my beloved), + there are so many invisble choices made when translating. You'll always lose something because every language has its little quirks and a different mindset that can't be translated directly, but you'll also gain something that the original version didn't have. It's an art form in itself, and I really love that <3 The other job that keeps popping into my mind is event mangement. I already get to organize a ton of things for my uni since I'm part of the student council for one of my two majors. It's exhausting, but also really rewarding when you have people come up to you afterwards to tell you how much fun they had!

The whimper is louder and whinier this time. “I need you, too. I— Do you really— do you really want to have sex with me? Like, that’s actually a thing we could do? You’d be happy and okay to do that? Because Eddie. Eddie, I want you. God, I want you. But— but only if you really, seriously want that with me. Do you want— do you honestly literally seriously really really want to have sex with me?”

Eddie huffs a laugh. But considering— everything, it’s valid. Maybe it is that shocking and strange. The idea that Eddie could actually want sex. But it doesn’t feel wrong here. It’s not wrong here. They aren’t avoiding anything or trying desperately to fix something after it’s been shattered beyond repair. Buck isn’t pressuring him or demanding or even asking. It wouldn’t be out of an expectation or perceived requirement. It’s not for any reason but because they want to. Because they’re in love. And Eddie wants everything they could be to each other.

He wants sex to be a good thing. Or at least a pleasant thing that doesn’t make him stupidly panic. He wants the intimacy of it, the affection and connection. Where they ignite heat and share pleasure because there’s something special and massive and sacred held between them. Letting his guard down, losing control, being that close to someone emotionally and physically, it’s okay if it’s with Buck. They’re already bonded and tethered and promised to each other.

“Yes,” Eddie says softly, sweetly but firmly as he rubs Buck’s chest and runs his thumb along the hollow of Buck’s throat. “I want to be with you. I want to have that with you. I want you to—” He can do it. He can say it. He wants so badly. He lightly brushes a kiss over Buck’s lips and it might be Eddie’s new favorite way to kiss him because it inevitably makes Buck surge forward and respond by kissing him more. Before he can do that, Eddie follows the hint of a kiss with, “I want to make love with you.”

Buck makes another wrecked sound and kisses him again, hard and deep, something pervasive, all-encompassing that Eddie could immerse himself in forever. Especially since Buck thrusts forward and it rubs a very noticeably hard cock right against Eddie’s own, not exactly soft one. Fast, crushing, electric heat jolts through his body. And Eddie jerks and arches further into him, tightening his hold on him, and moaning suddenly as he grinds himself on Buck.

Buck is hard again. Not that Eddie is surprised. Of course Buck is ready and eager even after his solo session in the shower. But God, Eddie can feel him.

Eddie’s allowed to feel him. He can acknowledge that he feels Buck hard against him. He’s allowed to feel the same.

It leaves him aching and burning and simmering but held on the surface instead of submerged in the warmth. He needs this warmth. He needs Buck’s radiant daylight. Eddie’s been etiolated and grown in the dark for too long. He needs oceans of water and whole summers of sun because Buck is both. Buck is everything.

A strangled, sobbing noise comes from the crook of Eddie’s neck and shoulder. Buck grips him harder and pleads, “Eddie, Eddie, Eddie,” as quietly as he can while twitching and tensing like he’s trying to hold back but doesn’t actually want to.

Eddie squirms and grips him, and swears there’s pulsing and throbbing from the hot bulge pressing between his legs where he’s spread his thighs and needed to hold Buck close.

Is this what it’s like? Is this what wanting and enjoying is like? Because he’s not sure he’ll survive it if that’s true. Buck is so hard and so obviously big and having him intimately pressed against Eddie is so, so good. It’s so good. Why is it so good? How is it so good? Eddie can’t comprehend, can’t think anymore. It’s only aching heat pooling and flooding through his body. He could be swept away and drowned and he still wants it. He wants all of Buck. He wants to let go and give Buck every part of himself. Eddie doesn’t even know how it’s possible at this point just that it is. Just that he loves and trusts, and he wants more and more even if it’s reckless and he knows proof of how much Buck wants and needs, too.

And fuck, Eddie wants to make him come. What if he could feel Buck come? What if he could make Buck feel that good? It would be good like that. To give because it’s not a demand or a responsibility or false proof. To give because Eddie wants to.

Would Buck moan and tremble and turn all flushed and sweaty and sticky and wet? Would he beg and turn Eddie’s name to litanies of devout affection? Could Eddie love him that way? He wants to love him that way. Every way.

He wants to feel love like this. He wants this to be about love.

It still sounds so flimsy and childish. To think of love as the thing that might change the experience. How could it be real and not made-up, fairy tale bullshit? But like Frank told him. Love isn’t just ~love.~ It’s their whole partnership, their history together, how they turn to each other with the worst things, how they take care of each other, look out for each other, how they laugh and cry together, how they think the world of each other, how being together brings them both stability, balance, joy, happiness.

Maybe sex has always meant love to Eddie. Unrestricted, unlimited, unconditional, unequivocal. Where there’s no question or reservation any longer. He doesn’t need to crush his feelings and shut them down. They can live securely, freely, safely between the two of them.

Eddie leans back but presses his lower half forward, so the way he’s growing hard and hungry is right against where Buck is also hard. He makes a fist in Buck’s hair and grips around his shoulders so he’s kept close.

Buck falls into him, clutches Eddie’s back and around his waist, follows like he always would even if Eddie were trapped in the depths of hell. Buck’s eyes are dark, dark deep blue and hazy, full of adoration and longing.

Eddie squeezes the fistful of golden brown hair, not to hurt or even tug, but just because he needs. Just so he can possess this love, this desire, these feelings, this everything. His precious beloved partner. “Can you feel how much I want you,” Eddie whispers and their lips drag over each other, hot, wet, and sticky. “I want you so badly. I’ve never wanted anything but you.”

Buck sounds like he might sob and fall to pieces. But Eddie can hold him together. He tips Buck’s mouth up toward his and kisses him hard and deep, all love and desperation, stoking every fire he’s never been able to touch. But he can feel it now. There’s heat and comfort and the promise of peaceful, blissful, glowing satisfaction through their connection.

“Eddie,” Buck whimpers again and it sounds like worship and prayer, need and devotion. He pants hard like there’s not enough air.

There isn’t enough air. The thing that needs to be in lungs. The things that are vital and essential and make Eddie alive. There’s not enough of it.

Buck looks dizzy and already wrecked and Eddie can’t wait to see him when they’re finally stripped bare and fitted together. He wants to know. He wants to have this. They should have this.

scouring the streets day and night, covering the walls and carts around you with posters of him and texting him constantly to beg him to let you know he was alive and safe somewhere — anywhere

confronting everyone in the coven as to figure out who was responsible for him going missing — with kikimora baring the brunt of your rage as belos was seemingly unavailable

the moment he finally reconnects with you, you damn near tackle him to the floor — alternating between kissing him and crying and shaking him in your arms

demanding to know where he was, telling him that the entire coven was out looking for him

and then stopping when you notice how beaten down he looks and dragging him off to somewhere private to heal him up

you’re both crying and he tells you the truth, sobbing and trembling and stumbling over his words as you just hold him and tend to his wounds

he tells you that he’s not a witch; that belos isn’t belos and that you need to stop the day of unity because everyone with a sigil was going to die and he didn’t want to lose you

Because I keep getting AU ideas mixed up, here's the Gargoyles/TMNT idea I'm writing.

Warning: My own interaction

Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki are half brothers and are considered Yakuza, there father attempted to put them against each other but fails.

Soon Saki takes over and Yoshi goes into show business, the two help each other like clockwork.

Someone whispered disloyalty to Saki and he became paranoid it was Yoshi, soon made a deal with EPF to use a testal drug to teach him a lesson.

The younger Hamato was injured and his blood completed the mixture.

Yoshi and his three pet turtles were dosed in the stuff and quickly transformed.

Saki later found out it was his wife being disloyal and in his guilt, killed her. He lied and said Yoshi did it out of vengeance, which only piled more guilt.

Soon he became The Shredder and rebranded the clan from Hamato to Foot.

He does meet his brother and nephews before they're teens and tries to apologize, but soon realize that he will never be forgiven.

Saki goes down a dark path after this.

He gets his own turtle to mutate, and uses his own blood to do so.

Karai raised this turtle to be her sister and she loves her so much.

Time skip and Rose and Karai go with their cousins and Splinter, April's mom and Casey's is dead to Shredder.

Donnie is oldest but head of family and Leo is Leader.

Then Casey and April then Mikey, they definitely welcome Karai and Rose with open arms.

Casey is a mix of 90s Jones and 87 Jones, April is Rise and 03, Karai is 07, 03 and Rise.

All the turtles are a mix of Rise, Bayverse and 03, minus Leo and Rose who have a little of 12 in them.

Karai is the same age as April and Rose is the youngest person.

Rose is a little too trusting and meets Lexington who was captured by Shredder.

They talk about their respective clans and burn the place down to destroy mutigen and leave as friends.

Any new upcoming series with w/w?

Lol, I had a whole answer typed up and almost completed last night, I could only remember a few upcoming shows but added a bunch of ongoing and recent with descriptions and then the post editor hiccuped and removed most of it so I angrily went to sleep instead.

But maybe that was for the best, because this morning a video of upcoming f/f shows in April came out so now I can add a few more.

There's Dead Ringers, that show with Rachel Weisz playing twin gynecologists and since it's a genderbent adaptation of an existing movie we already know it's gonna be super messy. It would be pretty wild for Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies to not have some wlw and luckily it does, the trailer itself reveals a couple. Tiny Beautiful Things, with Kathryn Hahn and Sarah Pidgeon (Leah in The Wilds) playing her younger self, apparently Kathryn Hahn's character's daughter is queer. Slip is a kinda scifi, where a bored wife cheats on her husband and realizes every time she has sex with someone, she wakes up married to them. The show's about her trying to get back to her original life, and there are a series of different husbands, but also a few wives (also, the first "replacement" husband is played by Boorman's actor from Willow!). There are also the upcoming Thai dramas Be Mine, Reverse 4 You, and 23.5, as previously mentioned.

In terms of returning series coming back, there's the Disney cartoon The Owl House, getting its final ep. Single Drunk Female's second season is returning soon. It has a bi lead, and she did have a female love interest but it was pretty temporary compared to the will they/won't she has with the main character male love interest. Her Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor, also a very main character, is a lesbian, and she's married but her wife's actress is a regular on another show now so I dunno if she'll be back.

Welcome to Eden, a Spanish thriller about people trapped on an island with a cult, ended the first season on a major cliffhanger so it'll be exciting to see what happens now, though it feels like anyone could die so that's a bit nerve-wracking. It has a lot of different kinds of rep, f/f, m/m, trans, one of the gay guys is deaf too and it's a plot point that his boyfriend won't learn sign even though his friends have.

The Epix series From is a pretty well done horror series about people trapped in a town and who get hunted at night, it's more ominous and suspenseful than outright gory. It actually has three wlw, though one is mostly with one guy, the one who's engaged to a woman outside the town seems to be about to start a romance with another guy, and one is a teen who's crushing on the first woman, feels unrequited. I didn't know about any of them when I started, so they're a bonus, the show itself is rather compelling.

As for current shows, The Power (lol, get it, current) started last night on Prime, it's nice that after the misreading of Class of '07, this new show about girls does immediately have a wlw. Gap's already finished but it made such a splash, if you haven't watched, I'll mention it again. The other Thai drama, Show Me Love, is still airing. Fantasy Island is honestly kind of sweet, it feels like one of those '90s shows, episodic, bright colors and optimism, and great guest stars. One of the two leads, I'd say, or at least the second billed main, is queer.

We got our three firefighter shows, 9-1-1 with a solid (now) established relationship, Fire Country, a lesbian character but not much screentime, and of course Station 19, which is honestly winning me back in a huge way with their current storyline (if they land it).

Cop wlw update (why are there so many of them!): NCIS Hawai'i remains super cute, especially when Lucy is on, looks like Ayanna on Law & Order: Organized Crime got herself a new gf with a super hot voice, The Rookie: Feds still has Niecy Nash playing a super likable and bi lead. I couldn't stand the egregious copaganda in FBI: Most Wanted, and like, imagine how bad it'd have to be, when I can still watch all the rest of these shows, but Sheryll's still there, so. Sin Huellas (No Traces) has already finished but gets another mention for being as funny as it was, with a cute, hot couple at the center. Rabbit Hole's just started, but the initial antagonist/probable grudging ally's an FBI lady who within the first 10 minutes of the first ep dropped that she had a wife. Van der Valk has started its third season and though I'm gonna keep hoping Lucienne's INCREDIBLY hot ex from 2x03 returns, Lucienne, second billed, is plenty hot by herself. Ariana Guerra, who played the novitiate in Helstrom, has joined the second season of CSI: Vegas. Her character's bi and has a main character boyfriend but he seems like he'll most likely end up with a different character.

I'm not really going through these in any particular order, except combining the above two types, but let me just blow through the rest of the ongoing shows: the Canadian family comedy Run the Burbs has been quite sweet in how it's written the teen daughter, How I Met Your Father comes across as an old fashioned sitcom, except one of the characters is a lesbian. It's kind of fun in its familiarity and low stakes. I didn't expect to be as drawn into The Watchful Eye as I did, the trailer felt quite soapy and it was, at times, but all the nannies were great, and I ended up quite liking the f/f side couple. It's amazing what actual personalities can do. :o A Million Little Things is winding down its final season and Grace Park's character is engaged to Cameron Esposito's character so it feels pretty endgame at this point.

If you didn't watch or stopped watching Carnival Row because the main m/f relationship seemed so especially trite, you maaaay want to give it another look. I'm not nearly caught up with Bel-Air, but in the first season they wrote Ashley's sexuality really well, especially since she's so young. I'm sure you can't have missed my Perry Mason gifsets by now, but I can only reiterate what a great character Della Street is. One of the kids in Gotham Knights is bi (and her brother is trans!) but I'm not sure it's worth getting invested before cancellation. Unless the CW is only going to keep projects involving the Supernatural trio?

At this point, hoping everyone who's into wlw has at least tried Yellowjackets or is aware enough of it to know they don't want to try it. Las Pelotaris 1926 is a Spanish language historical drama about female athletes playing--well, the sport is basque pelota but if you need a reference point, it's like squash or racquetball. If you haven't yet caught up with RWBY, now would be an okay time. Lastly, I've still never watched any of Riverdale or even Choni clips, but its final season has just started and you know, I gotta respect the longevity of whatever they've been doing with them, however up and down they seem to have been, and perhaps this final season will be an up. From what I've seen on SM, they seem to get endgame soulmatey treatment more than any of the other ships and I can respect that.

Aside from the Thai dramas that might air after April and a few of the other shows that ended their seasons in March (or February in Gap's case), all of these have eps airing this month. After this year of cancellations, I think it's worth enjoying what we can, even as we acknowledge how much lead/main character rep and longevity we're losing. :o

MARCH FIC RECAP

I read 32 fics in march and reread 1.

From several fandoms : larry, rwrb, tarlos, drarry, athelnar, cmbyn, sterek, obikin.

As always, I'm infinitely grateful to all the authors for their gifts and to AO3 for being this space for sharing.

Apart from my re-reading, which I'll talk about at the end of this post, I particularly enjoyed 6 of these fics.

Summary

And the FBI is still reeling from the repercussions of Watergate, the tragedy at Wounded Knee, Operation Family Secrets, and the strategic terrors of the anti-cult movement.

That's what Special Agent Harry Styles has been told is the basis of his mission to an abandoned farmhouse in rural New Hampshire.

With his hair grown out long and his shirt untucked, he's going undercover to do reconnaissance on suspected cult leader Louis Tomlinson, who has led a group of people out into the middle of nowhere, leaving no record of the life he'd had before. All Harry knows is what the agency gave him: Tomlinson's name, and instructions to figure out what he's doing with the eleven people he brought with him.

In the year that Harry spends undercover and under Louis Tomlinson's wing, he learns more than he ever expected.

What I liked :

This story is perfect : masterful scenario, well crafted characters, and a very special and absolutely unique atmosphere, all to achieve about how a remote place can help you find in someone the home you were looking for...

Established relationships, suicide attempt, hurt/comfort

Summary :

After a failed suicide attempt and a three month long coma, Harry wakes up.

What I liked :

Suicide, depression… It's not an easy subject… And yet the author comes up with a story that is all sensitivity and emotion. They describe perfectly what it's like to go wrong, even when you love your husband, even when, from the outside, everything seems to be going well. The distress of Louis, the husband who almost lost his love, is also palpable and poignant.

Both characters are amazing, and it's literally impossible not to fall in love with Louis, who reminds me TTS Louis, a marvel of solidity and devotion to his other half.

On the cusp of a promotion, Harry needs a little help with his image. Enter Draco Malfoy — who doesn't really do that, Potter — to whip him into shape… and make him feel things he hasn't for a very long time.

Featuring: odd jobs, surprising chemistry, lots of accidental kissing, the Prophet living up to type, owls exhausted by the carrying of dirty letters, a secret no one can talk about, a merry band of Slytherins (none of whom really approve), and an enchanted mirror (who really, really does).

What I liked

This is another one of those drarry fics where I fall in love with both characters and their stories, each so different yet so compatible.

Friends to lovers, Sharing a bed, Pining

Summary :

When Harry decides to swap his house in London for a cabin in the Catskill Mountains for a week, he’s excited for the chance to take a vacation with a group of his closest friends. He’s positive that his long-standing crush on Draco won’t be a problem; he’s been handling it just fine for years, after all. Unfortunately, he wasn’t counting on those tiny swim trunks. Or the way Draco licks melted chocolate off his fingers. Or having to rescue him from a rogue shower. And he definitely wasn’t counting on Draco deciding to sleep in Harry’s bed. But it’s going to be fine. Right?

Featuring: gender fuckery fashion icon Blaise Zabini, Greg Goyle as “the dad friend,” Luna Lovegood petting wild animals that she absolutely should not be petting, and Harry and Draco not being nearly as subtle as they think they are.

What I Liked :

This fic is a sort of grand epilogue, set against the backdrop of a beautiful cabin in the Canadian woods, with a lake, obviously a shared bed, pining and a great bunch of friends. A lovely serotonin moment. I could have gone on for pages and pages.

Private chef AU, friends with benefits

Summary

Carlos doesn't know what to expect when he takes a position as a private chef in the Hamptons for the summer. All he knows is that he needs a job, and one that puts a roof over his head, gives him a chance to practice his craft, and will look great on his CV is more than he could ask for. Turns out he has no idea what he’s in for.

What I liked :

I sincerely hope that the author continues to write for a long time to come, because every time, it's a joy to read. Carlos and TK are beautiful, moving and touching, no matter what reality they find themselves in, and this AU private chef is no exception.

Summary :

In the raid at Lindisfarne, Ragnar takes a blow to the head and is knocked unconscious. Thinking Ragnar is dead, his kinsmen leave him behind on the beach. When Ragnar awakens, he suffers from amnesia. He cannot remember why he sailed west, or what transpired at the monastery. Athelstan discovers his bruised body on the shore, and they embark on an adventure that challenges their faiths, their lives, and their love.

What I liked :

Years ago, I was really into the Vikings series. And all my interest collapsed when Athelstan died (I don't suppose I'm spoiling anything for anyone?), because G. Blagden was due to join the Versailles series. Here we are in 2024, I'm discovering Uppsalir on AO3 and omg it's a gem! It's a shame that such perfections don't have more readers, for lack of a more popular fandom…

Summary

Late afternoon seeps into the cab, just shy of too warm, and the breeze that crosses window to window tosses their hair in their eyes, around their faces. They ride in pleasant silence, the radio humming softly in the background as they speed down the coast, and when Louis looks over, Harry’s smiling to himself, a private happiness born from whatever’s going on in his head. Louis likes to think it has something to do with him, or at the very least, this adventure they’ve embarked on together, chosen to see through to San Diego.

Or, Harry and Louis fall in love down the coast of California.

What I liked :

I finished March by rereading this fic after watching a TV documentary about the Seattle area with my mum (Easter weekend). This is the third time I've reread it, and the third time I've loved it! It's got some of my favourite ingredients: road trip, pining, a lonely character whose heart gradually opens up, beautiful landscapes, pining, emotion… Really, We can take the long road home is one of my all time favourite fics.

What's more, there's a lighthouse and a sea glass found on a beach…
