He is SO. In the first seasons, he didn't care for Adrien, his holder. But then, we found out he used to be abused by his previous holders, and he realized Adrien is different and cares about him, and got scared and sobbed because he thought Plagg had been harmed. And since then, Plagg changed, and became very protective of Adrien, being his confidant, trying to cheer him up, and being there for him and encouraging him to break away from his abusive father. Also, nobody trusted Plagg to use his destruction powers without a holder, since times he did, he destroyed the dinosaurs!! And sank Atlantis!!! But Adrien trusts in him! And now Plagg has used his powers in a controlled manner :D Adrien and Plagg are so important to each other. And Plagg is one of the best mascots ever.

Owl Miraculous (5/?)

The fifth miraculous to be introduced for my version of the miracle box is the owl. Their name is Hoot (I know I was feeling funny today), and the concept I've chosen for them is Realization. For their miraculous, I've chosen a Monocle, and for their weapon, I gave them a Quill. Lastly, to activate their power, one must say Solution: when activated, the user can see the series of steps required to achieve what's possible in one's desired outcome and follow them perfectly. This might be the only one for today as I will be a little busy, but we'll see, so later gremlins.

Out of curiosity, how different would the lineup be if it revolved around the Matter duo?

The same. If it was the most powerful box and formatted after the zodiac system, then it would be the same. I took the easy option so I didn't have to think about it xd

But, if I formatted the box after the layers then it would be very different. It would have 1 duo, 5 second layers, and 12 third layers. That's actually how I came up with the system (and why they're called layers).

Anyway, here's what it would look like:

The Cycle duo would still be here. Niic can destroy a soul so if he destroyed a kwami, a first layers kwami, the universe would cease to exist so yeah.

The butterfly, bee, seal, snow leopard, and the lemur would be the second layers. The butterfly and bee are op. Especially the bee, they have flight, can paralyze someone and an experienced holder can make someone their servant. The seal can escape from every place with their powers and can use the remaining water from Sharkling as offense. The snow leopard can freeze time temporarily, self-explanatory. The lemur is a great spy and can switch their position with anyone they want.

The snake, horse, rabbit, swan, owl, bear, mouse, rhino, dog, ox, goat, and the rooster would be the third layers. The snake, horse, and dog are self-explanatory. The rabbit basically grants immortality. The swan can make someone else do their job, with basically no evidence of their influence. The owl can see magical objects and through illusions. The bear can be used to create an escape or defense for the holder. The mouse is just a bunch of clones of the holder, there's a lot of uses for it. They can spy, talk to someone discretely, and take care of multiple of things at once... The rhino is the ultimate healer. The ox makes someone invincible and you don't need to have another magic user to make it effective. The goat could probably punch someone into the Sun lol. The rooster gives a boost to the holder, in a way they want.

Will you ultilize content from the ml world specials (Paris, Shangai and NY)? Both the power systems (the same heroes of NY, since you mentioned there will indeed be other heroes, and the Prodigious) and the characters (fei, aeon, Jess etc)?

Yep!

Jess, Aeon, and Fei will be a part of the story as will their hero counterparts Eagle, Uncanny Valley, and Lady Dragon!

On top of this, the Paris special characters (Shadybug, Claw Noir, etc) will also be used in some format though I'm not 100% sure how yet as I'm still only at the beginning of the story in the writing process

And as for the power system, it's being slightly reworked to better fit my rewrite but the heroes in the New York special (namely Majestia and Knight Owl) will make appearances as non-Miraculous wielding heroes to help with the world building

A small explanation of the Magic of the world is rather simple: All heroes/villains stem from either Magic (which in and of itself stems from the Kwami's), Technology (like Techno-Pirate or Knight Owl), or a mixture of the two

(As a small sidenote: Majestia/Olympia is NOT an alien in this rewrite, she's just a human who has a connection to Magic)

Kwamis and Palismen

So, this is something Ihad typed up a while ago, and I’m just now retyping it and making it make more sense.

So, been thinking about Owl House and miraculous ad how they could crossover. I was talking to a few people about Miraculous and owl house online and was wondering about what would happen if a miraculous holder ended up in the Boiling Isles, specifically what would happen to the kwami. For some reason my mind was thinking that the kwami would change as it crossed dimensions via titans blood. Then I realized that the kwamis wouldn’t become Palismen just because of a crossover. Well, the author could write so they did, but then I’d have to come up with a reason why they transformed, and I’m not entirely sure the titan can do that. Which is kind of a darn shame, because I kinda want to see the kwamis become staffs because it’s a cool thought and if would help them learn magic.

There’s also the question of what of the miraculous holders could have wands in their transformation costume. And what if those wands could turn into their respective kwami partner. And of course, what would happen if Chat Noir did this when fighting a massive cheese akuma.

I kinda want to see a miraculous holder on the boiling isles. Mostly because I think both series are fun and can be prett enjoyable,

Owl House AU short story #3 - Palisman

“Today you students will get their Palisman!” Principal Bump announced. Everyone cheered. Especially Luz. Who was standing right next to Marinette. And it was really loud. She was kind of grateful Adrien wasn’t in her place with his super enhanced hearing.

“Traditionally a witch would carve their Palisman from palistrom wood.” Eda continued.

“But palistrom trees have been getting rarer and rarer.” Bump said, shaking his head.

“So today I have teamed up with bumpkins.” Eda said proudly. Principal Bump looked at Eda really annoyed but Eda pressed on. “and the Bat Queen to bring you Palisman adoption day!” Great. Sure Marinette loved palisman they were cute and powerful but why would one want to choose a mess up like her? The Bat Queen suddenly slammed onto the ground with a nest.

“Each palisman bonds with their owner through what they want to support you on.” Bat Queen said. “So tell the palisman what you want to accomplish most in life and the Palisman will choose you.” Adrien bumped up next to Marinette excitedly.

“Are you excited M’lady?” Adrien said, bouncing excitedly. Marinette smiled tiredly.

“Yah sure.” Adrien frowned and opened his mouth to ask what was wrong but Boscha interrupted him.

“I want to make my own palisman! Not get a hand me down!” Boscha said grumpily with her arms crossed.

“Your loss!” Willow said, pushing through Boscha. Marinette smiled amused. Willow crouched down at the edge of the nest and looked at all of the palisman crowding around excitedly. “I want to be strong and wise to protect the people I love and if people don’t like that then they’ll feel the sting of defeat.” Willow said happily.

“Tender yet tenacious! Clover gives her support.” Bat Queen said, opening up her wing. A little bee flew out of the nest and swirled around Willow while buzzing. It turned into a staff and everyone gasped. Adrien and Luz especially. It seemed like they were the most excited.

“I’m going to take such good care of you!” Willow said rubbing her palisman she stepped out of the way. Boscha took a step forward but Adrien pushed her back.

“Hey!” She exclaimed angry.

“You said you didn’t want one.” Adrien said, smiling mischievously. Marinette could hear some girls swooning behind her, Marinette groaned but gave her attention to only Adrien. He crouched down on the edge of the nest and looked at the little palisman excitedly. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. “I want to be able to control my own life and not let other people tell me what to do.” Adrien said calmly. Marinette smiled affectionately.

“A rebellious teen who just wants freedom! Plagg understands that feeling!” Adrien watched excitedly as a little black cat floated out of the nest. It yawned once and then zoomed around Adrien’s head. It stopped and blew a raspberry at him and Adrien stuck out his tongue teasingly at it. Plagg turned into a staff and Adrien stood up in awe then walked back to his spot next to Marinette. He tore his eyes away from Plagg and looked up at her with such a big smile. Marinette’s heart skipped a beat and she could feel her face heat up. But she returned the smile. She turned back to the nest to find Gus walking back to his spot with a little blue chameleon. “Who would like to go next?” Bat Queen asked, looking around. Everyone seemed lost in her thoughts trying to think of something to say. “What about you with the long blond hair?” Bat Queen asked. Star looked surprised but shook her head.

“Sorry I would but my family has a palisman that's passed down from generation to generation.” Star said, holding up her staff with the little blue man on top. Marinette remembered Star had called him Glossaryck? Everyone said ‘ooo’ and ‘ahh’. But the Bat Queen’s attention turned to Marinette and Marinette jolted.

“Why don’t you, with the blue hair, go next?” Bat Queen said, waving Marinette over. Marinette stood there frozen. Her? She wants her to go next? She couldn’t go next. She wasn’t sure if- Adrien jabbed her in the stomach. Turning her attention to him.

“It’s your turn M’lady.” Adrien said a little concerned. Marinette took a deep breath and stepped forward. She crouched down and looked at the palismans gathering around her. She felt like she was going to throw up. What was she thinking? None of them were going to choose her. She started to hyperventilate a little. Then she took another deep breath. She started shaking a little.

“I-I’m not quite sure what I I want but I do know that I want to help as many people as I can.” Marinette whispered softly.

“A kind soul that just needs to build up her confidence. Tikki can be a great help for you.” Bat Queen said thoughtfully. A little ladybug flew out of the nest and floated next to Marinette. The ladybug- Tikki -hugged Marinette’s cheek then turned into a staff and plopped into Marinette’s hands. Marinette sat there shocked. The Bat Queen leaned in and Marinette looked up. “A good thing to know about Tikki is that Tikki and Plagg are connected by their powers.” The Bat Queen whispered knowing what she was saying. Marinette gasped, glancing at Adrien. Then Marinette stood up and walked back to her spot. Marinette didn’t even hear Marco or Sasha or Marcy get their Palisman. She was too shocked about the fact that she actually got a palisman. She started laughing in shock. Then she smiled holding Tikki close. She promised she would take the best care of Tikki she could. She looked up just in time to see Luz walk up to the nest.

Does Tyyto know everything? If she is Secrets Incarnate, I would imagine nothing could be hidden from her. Could someone force her to reveal something, like Hawkmoth or Mayura, if they ever got her Miraculous?

I wouldn't say everything, but she definitely is one of the most knowledgeable beings out there. While she is subjected to obey most orders like other kwamis, she cannot be forced to reveal any Secrets she knows, even under commands.

These are sketches, so the lines will be somewhat rough and you may see structure lines underneath. If you are not satisfied with the level of cleanliness, I can clean it up a bit, but these tiers don’t include clean lineart. (If you do want clean lineart, though, we can talk about it!)

I tend to experiment a bit with my rendering tools/style, so if there’s a particular piece of mine you like and you want me to try to recreate that style, lmk!
