What do you canon happened to Metro Man after the events of Megamind?

I think he took up some other hobbies... because even with invulnerability, you can only play so much guitar in one day before your fingers start to hurt.  I think he’d be good at knitting.

But music would still be a big part of his life!  Eventually, he gets the courage to perform at a few Open Mic Nights around the city.  Megamind drags Roxanne to every performance and always cheers the loudest.

(Although I don’t think Wayne and Megamind become friends immediately after the movie ends- there’s years of hurt that needs to be dealt with before they can move on from the past and build a solid friendship.)

I also don’t think Metro Man could stay “dead.”  With Megamind thrown into the spotlight as the new defender, it puts him in a really uncomfortable PR position.  Sure, he may be the good guy... but there’s still a murder charge hanging over his head.  So they prepare a press conference...

...it doesn’t go well.  But thankfully Wayne has some good friends to help him through it and figure out where to go from here. :3

Did you know about the megamind 2 petition? Someone linked it on here.

I remember seeing the link floating around a while back! I haven’t signed it yet, because I am admittedly a little conflicted. I don’t really sign petitions that often; however, it does send a huge message to Dreamworks that the interest is still there, which hopefully counts for something in their market research if they are entertaining the idea of a Megamind 2.

I’ve read on other posts discussing a Megamind sequel that Dreamworks has said no to developing future genre parody movies, citing Shark Tale and Megamind as examples, but does anyone know if the studio explicitly mentioned Megamind in that statement, or is it only inferred from the quote? Because I’d say it’s well beyond a parody. (But that’s a whole other rant.)

I’m so sorry for the wait!!!  I got really carried away on this one and ran into a few issues with the perspective in the background (and then life hit me with a crowbar for the majority of March) but here she is at last!!

🎩: draw a character in fancy wear - Megamind and Roxanne perhaps? (plenty of outfits in Rings...just saying ;P)

My muse pulled me in two different directions, so I went with Megamind’s lovely checked suit from Chapter 11, and Chapter 9′s slinky dress for Roxanne. (”a dress that slunk in the very best sense of the word” still cracks me up.)

(Still working my way through these! Sorry for the wait folks, my back has been bothering me today but I’ll get the next one up tomorrow!)
