Service dogs are not exempt from local dog registration in the United States so we went to our City Hall to pay our annual $10 fee. They were closed for renovations so we had to leave without dropping it off.
We were already prepped for public access training so I took her grocery shopping instead. It was my first time driving since starting Methotrexate and I felt even more dizzy & nauseous than I usually do while driving. There are some driving warnings on the Rx so I’m thinking it’s related. I will have to be extra cautious until I figure out the details.
My main focus was public access training so shopping was slow. It amazes me how she always seems to be improving even when we have to take long breaks from public access. A couple halfhearted sniffing mistakes that were easily redirected and that was it. Her heeling is marvelous imo. She was noticeably slower on her position changes but I know it’s because I swapped out her old shoes for new ones that still need to be broken in. I like the Ruffwear Grip Trex for quick outings but they can be tough to break-in especially in the cold.
She was being super good at ignoring people which I like to reward with occasional breaks to say hi to polite strangers. She prefers kids & elderly people so when I noticed a blind preteen with her grandmother who were talking kindly about us I offered to let her say hi. The child was especially excited to meet Mandana because she is working on getting her own service dog. I described Mandana & her gear and let her feel her ears, head, harness, badge and shoes. I answered questions about training & tasks. She wanted to know what tasks Mandana knows that could help a blind person so I told her about how she’s trained to locate specific objects by name and bring them to me. She was excited to show me her Disney stickers so I gave her one of Mandana’s custom stickers and showed her how she could feel the ears and tail that are cut out. Mandana really enjoyed the attention and we all had a fun conversation.
I am tired, lethargic, in pain, tearful. I want to take a nap, but I can't. Now I'm frustrated that I can't sleep. I would like to continue my research into owner training an Assistance Dog in the Netherlands, but I know that it's not helpful at the moment. It's Sunday, so I can't ask my social workers for help. And I just don't know what to do with myself for a moment.
YES YES I NEED THIS SIGN IN EVERY SINGLE PARK PLEASE
This is my daily struggle, I had so many arguments with people with off-leash dogs (in a mandatory leash area!!!). Thanks to this behavior I'm struggling with Kim being anxious/aggressive with other females as she often gets involved in unpleased interactions with free females while on leash. And every single time that I ask for the dog to be at least recalled, I'm being called names and insulted of course.
Also 9 out of 10 their dog isn't really that friendly at all.
you're such an obedient dog; following all orders so well and pleasuring your owner eagerly. you're his perfect dog, gazing down at you with lustful eyes, drooling all over yourself because you want something stuffed deep down your throat, desperate for something thick stuffed into your slick mouth, to have your soft lips wrapped around something.
perhaps it's an oral fixation – i mean, you're constantly chewing at your dog toys and his gloved hand, it wouldn't surprise johnny if you had an oral fixation. in fact, johnny takes advantage of it, instead. he'll push his fingers down your puppy mouth, watching you drool and suck at his thick, gloved fingers, panting and heaving while he pumps them down your throat, preparing you to take something longer and thicker than his fingers.
johnny keeps a firm grip on your collar, holding it tightly while he eases his fat, hard cock down your tight throat. naive, you didn't think about how your throat would be aching, strained and painful. poor puppy, just keep sucking owner johnny's cock gently and don't think about a thing, drooling all around him while he plays with your doggy ears, your eyes obediently and eagerly looking up into his, excited and ready to take him even deeper. :(
Unless: You want the action to repeat itself because it's super cute and there is nothing inherently wrong with rewarding contact-seeking behaviour, and shockingly it is actually possible to both teach and learn more nuanced ways to communicate with your dog than simply "no" and "when i say so"
keep packing me bowl after bowl until i’m so high i can’t form words i’m just a dumb whimpering puppy that’s drooling and whining and waiting to hear the click that tells me to get hard

We’ve just started dabbling in “errorless” training. I’m not a certified trainer but here’s my basic understanding of the “errorless” method. It’s kind of like shaping but instead of only rewarding when they meet the criteria, you reward for any effort. If you only reward for doing something a certain way, then frustration can start to creep into your training session. With errorless, they always win something. The benefit is less frustration and more engagement. You become better at evaluating what your dog can do and setting them up for success. Your dog builds confidence and desire to train and offer behaviors.
I tried to edit the video so it makes sense. I would suggest reading the purple words first. If you’re interested to see how she did with her cues then go back and watch for the green words at the bottom.
Looking back at the video, we need to work on coming to “side” from different directions before adding “center”. She gets so used to doing things a certain way that it becomes muscle memory. Breaking it down further and focusing on not marking behaviors that get “participation” rewards is going to really help us be successful in our next session.
more people need to treat themselves like the needy pup they are. i don’t want to do something today? i just think to myself, “if you get it done you can use the vibrator tonight.” because even dumb puppies can practice discipline and rewards.
Tav found a fluffy black cat and is giving it loads of attention and calling it “her lil mans”, cat follows his new mother around, what Gortash do. Does he get jelly or nah.
I know canonically Bane’s animals are black dogs but somehow I think Gortash is more of a cat person, he might find dogs boring since he deals with people grovelling enough as is, and maybe cats remind him of a certain someone
I feel like Gortash doesn’t really get jealous. He gets mad if someone dares flirt with Tav, like he will absolutely fuck this person up (RIP if they dare touch Tav), but jealousy in the sense of not getting enough attention or not trusting them? I don’t think so.
Personally I see him really self-assured. If he’s committed, he’s committed, and he’ll expect the same from you. And he trusts you, otherwise there would be no commitment in the first place.
So a little cat? Shit he probably acts annoyed and then secretly tosses that little fucker food when no one sees. The cat walks over his notes and leaves paw prints and he saves that in a scrapbook. One night the cat comes up to him and nestles against his leg, and he stares at it for five minutes before he cautiously pets it.
Like he’s the archetypical reluctant pet owner who ends up spoiling the cat in the worst way possible.
“show me those pretty teeth, pup.” her thumb glides over your bottom lip and you relax your jaw, allowing her fingers in. her thumb runs over your teeth, and when her hand leaves your mouth, you hear the click, and then she holds up a single Frutip jelly candy as a treat before you.
“you can take it,” she says, and you do, eating it from her hand.
she’s trained you to keep your eyes on her while you stay nice and quiet for her. you’re kneeling before her, looking up at her obediently, ready to follow her every command.
“good girl.” click. “take it.” she juts her hips forward slightly, and you know you’ve earned the privilege of finally, finally being able to undo her pants.
but unbuttoning and unzipping is all you’re allowed to do for now. you know better than to jump the gun and try taking her clothes off just yet.
How are people suposed to enforce the laws about service dogs in the USA?/srs
This is a genuine question for people about the ADA laws on service dogs. This question is mainly aimed at those who belive that they are sufficient and should not be modified and that there would not be the problems there are with service dogs in the USA if they were inforced.
Okay, I disagree but I also don't live in the USA and they don't apply to me so I don't know as much about the reality of service dog work in the USA. What I know is based of reading the actual laws and from what people who do live in the USA share and show online, which once again is not the whole picture and it's not possible for it to be.
How are they supposed to enforce these. The ADA.gov website says they are aloud to ask two questions, is this a service dog that helps mitigate a disability, and what tasks is it trained to preform.
First one I understand if they say no say that only service dogs are aloud and emotional support and therapy animals are not and to check the website if they want to know more. I understand this question this makes sense to ask.
The second... what does this achieve they ask and then you disclose what tasks the dog does? Things that often reveal a whole lot of medical information to a stranger? Why would they need to know. Sure they can't ask what your disability is but tasks like cardiac alert, seizure alert, anxiety assistance, guiding, mobility support, retrieving, and other such tasks give extensive insight into what your disability is. Also according to the ADA they cannot do anything about what you say the tasks are so, once again, what is the point of this question. It only gives people the ability to justify saying they are not a actual service animal and discount the dogs work and your right to have the dog as medical equipment.
People are only able to ask someone to leave if the dog pees on the floor or not being under control and the handeler does not take action to remedy this. Once again what does this mean. Not under control like got out of a sit prematurely? Being distracted and interacting with other patrons or coming into contact with food? That's not listed, what do you do if a dog grabs somthing? Or is trying to get attention from strangers. What is reasonable action to correct? If a dog jumps on someone and the handeler gets them off and makes them heel is that okay? What does not under control mean, and what is a reasonable action to remedy it? Does it matter what the dog did? Nothing in this is ever explained in a definitive way. Anything can be argued once again. People can claim a dog that is under control isn't because the dog made a mistake what then? Or a person who says their dog is undercontrol and the burden of proof is on the employees? It's never explained further. With the whole dog pees on the floor thing, great you request they leave but once again that is the only thing you can do. Nothing else.
I also have seen so many videos of people filming strangers and posting it on the internet to say how horrible they are because they don't know everything. I don't want to be posted online, I would not want to confront a person who's dog was behaving poorly because then I may get yelled at, and God forbid if these people say anything wrong, even if they correct themselves. People make mistakes, saying a dog is not aloud in a restaurant warents a response on the laws and where to find them not videoing a person, yelling at them and posting it for the whole internet to see. Are some of those people in the wrong? Fuck yes. There are so many assholes who say stupid shit and are ableist and discriminatory. But how do you expect people to try and enforce these laws if all they see of it are people posting them in their work place and having thousands of people attack them. Yeah that person might actually deserve it, but that being the most first and main thing when you search service dogs on any social media platform.
It's often the people filming others and constantly talking about how they are discriminated against because of people trying to follow the laws good intentions or not, who say that the solution is simply for people to enforce these? I know many people don't do anything about pets in stores or ill trained dogs because they don't want to deal with the potential conflict. As well as there is legitimately nothing for them to do except ask.the two questions, one of which is just ridiculous and unnecessary, and use their own interpretation to decide if a dog is "under control" and then ask someone to leave. Most people who do this and mess up somewhere like asking for ID get threatened with legal action. How are they supposed to prove anything once again these laws are writen so that the interpretation is entirely subjective with no examples of what is and isn't a violation given.
Once again how will they enforce these laws, and second even if they do what is that going to achieve, they cannot make a person leave and doing so will often make things so much worse, they get attacked if they are wrong, posted on the internet, and shamed for not knowing somthing. Once again maybe some of these people deserve this but certainly not all. So please explain how to enforce the ADA because there is no one to contact about anything the ADA is a legislation not an organization, so they cannot do anything but ask someone to leave, and the burden of proof if they chose to make issue with this request is entirely on the random employee. Maybe I am missing somthing maybe I just am thinking of this the wrong way but what do any of these laws mean and how would people enforce them and finally how would this fix the issues present. Once again I do not live in the USA I have never even been to the USA but consuming anything in English on the internet it is assumed it is the USA and you cannot avoid it.
