Eddie is filming a reminder to his fans about Corroded Coffin’s limited edition merch but gets interrupted when Steve storms into their bedroom and starts digging through the closet.

Eddie, mid-promo: What are you doing?

Steve, pulling the nail bat out of the closet: I’m going to kill our neighbor

Eddie: Diane?!

Steve: Wha- No, Dan.

Eddie: Oh… why?

Steve: I know that fucker popped Ozzy’s swimming pool

Eddie: Steve-

Steve: No, that asshole has complained every time I’ve blown that pool up for Oz. I go inside for ten minutes and suddenly it has a hole in it? It’s the middle of fucking summer, Eddie, and a hundred degrees outside. If I want my dog to be able to cool down in some water while I do yard work then he should be able to!

Steve: I know he popped it so I’m going to *twirls bat* pop his head off his goddamn shoulders

Eddie, reluctantly because Steve’s kinda hot when he’s seething with rage: …why don’t you cool down and let me talk to Dan.

It actually makes perfect sense that Ozzie is into consent. He‘s a demon, after all.

Let me explain.

If you think about it, there aren‘t actually many stories of either demons or fairies or any other kind of trickster ever forcing humans into anything.

They are going to fuck you over, sure, but they usually let YOU make a mistake first.

They bargain, goad you on, trick you.

The devil builds a bridge, he doesn‘t just abduct your firstborn. The fairies put food in front of you, they don‘t force you to eat. Succubi feed off your sexual energy, they don‘t magically make you horny.

Sin/transgression/damnation has to be a choice to mean anything.

See also: Nearly every horror movie ever. If that kid hadn‘t gone into the creepy attic (literal transgression), he wouldn‘t be possessed. If the camp counsellors hadn‘t been either fucking or pranking people, they wouldn‘t be getting axed.

The snake couldn‘t just shove the apple into Eve‘s mouth while she was sleeping, either.

Of course a demon would be interested in having consent on all sides. That‘s more people sinning, after all.

(And for the few weirdos who use Raphael from bg3 as an example of how evil a real demon should be… What is his big thing again…? Starts with c, ends with ontracts…?)

"Can you give me one more night?" Eddie looks up at him, his brown eyes shining with unshed tears. "Please?"

He knows he shouldn't. He needs to be strong and say tell him, "I'm sorry, but no."

But Steve has never been a strong man when it comes to Eddie Munson.

So he drops his coat on the bedside chair that was occupied by Wayne fifteen minutes ago until he wandered down to the cafeteria for another cup of coffee (Steve could've gotten him one from the machine in the nurse's station—it would've been free, at least) and plops down in the other one with a bone deep sigh.

"Someone's gotta go home and check on Ozzy," he tells him softly, reaching forward to brush Eddie's hair out of his eyes.

Those gorgeous brown eyes that are more alive and bright tonight, though a little unfocused from the pain meds they've got him on, than they were when the ambulance brought him in ten days ago, barely conscious on the gurney but still pleading for his husband.

Steve had never been so terrified in his life.

"Wayne can stop by on his way to work," Eddie says, taking Steve's hand and lacing their fingers together. "Please, Stevie."

Eddie's quiet voice and his pleading eyes have Steve's heart breaking all over again. Eddie's begged him to stay every single night since waking up after his surgery, scared to be alone even for a second.

Steve knows about Eddie's childhood fear of hospitals, but Eddie confided in him on the third night of recovery, still high and loopy on morphine–

"It's not hospitals themselves," he'd muttered. His eyes were closed and his heart monitor was so steady Steve thought he'd fallen asleep.

"Yeah?"

Any free time Steve had, whether he was on his breaks or clocked out, he spent it at Eddie's bedside.

Eddie's eyes briefly opened and his gaze slid over to Steve. "s'the dying alone part that I'm afraid of."

Steve had choked on a sob, already fragile from the very real fact that Eddie had almost died, and made the promise that that was never going to happen.

"You're being discharged tomorrow," Steve says, pressing a kiss to their hands. "This is the last night you have to spend in this place, I promise. You get to sleep in our bed with me beside you and Ozzy tucked behind your knees, and you're never going to look at another motorcycle ever again."

But he doesn't tell him no.

Instead, he makes sure Eddie is as comfortable as he can be without being in pain and carefully climbs into the bed beside him. Wayne comes back and finds them curled around each other and sharing soft kisses between equally soft words.

Everything about these moments makes me sob.

For this little kid, who’s not only non-verbal but also has broken horns, to come up to Fizz and communicate how much they love and look up to him and how much Fizz inspires them, it’s a reminder of why Fizz loves performing. It’s about the audience. All of the different types of people in the audience. Impacting them and giving them an experience they’ll never forget.

Fizz used to be that audience. He was that little kid who was inspired to pursue performing and now he gets to inspire kids too. And he especially gets to inspire those kids who are just like him.

He might’ve been a teenager when he was injured, but that doesn’t change the impact Fizz has on people as a disabled person who is still able to live his life how he wants it.

Like he said last episode, he’s not broken. He has his prosthetic limbs, he has Ozzie, someone who loves him, and a thriving career.

So having this little kid with a disability and the same broken horns as Fizz, it truly shows how impactful Fizz as a disabled performer is.

This kid is inspired that someone who has a disability like them is able to live out their dream. Fizz is a reminder that they too can achieve their dream of performing no matter what.

And the fact Fizz was able to communicate with this little kid, you can see that meant everything. The way their eyes light up each time Fizz responds is truly incredible.

Fizz is able to be the role model for this kid that Mammon should’ve been for him.

Not to mention that Fizz’s own broken horns aren’t known to the public, this little kid doesn’t know Fizz also looks like them in this regard, Fizz hides his horns under his jester hat so he looks “perfect”, but this kid’s broken horns are out and proud. This kid is not ashamed, and Fizz shouldn’t be either.

This is part of who they are and we see Fizz embrace every part of himself during his final performance when he rips apart his clothes to show off his prosthetic arms and scarred body.

And that thank you to this kid that Fizz gives them, it’s not only a thank you for being part of the audience, it’s a thank you for reminding him why he loves performing and that they inspired him too.

Fizz sees himself in this little kid just as this little kid sees themself in Fizz and I think that’s beautiful.

This scene....

You can see the moment Fizz breaks and feels bad for Blitzo, realizing that he’s been hurting as well. The trauma is there but Fizz has worked passed it and living his life He’s realizing that this whole time Blitzo hasn’t and self hatred is consuming him.

The face Fizz made- "You actually wanted to see me"... his anger wasn't at getting burned... but at the thought he was "abandoned" by Blitz. It was a misunderstanding all along, and that's what kills him.

Does Ozzy like when kids want to pet him while he’s working? Or does he have a bit of “peasants please I’m on the clock” superiority about it?

Ozzy interacts with children a lot since Steve works at a school and he likes kids. Being touched or petted by kids is a pretty normal part of his working day because it’s used more as a reward system for both Ozzy and the children. If a kid answers a really difficult question or does well on a test, they can pet Ozzy. It’s not super distracting for the kids or for Ozzy, and Steve allows it to happen.

Out in public, Ozzy is still sweet to kids because he’s kinda conditioned to be and because Steve never really puts up a fight when kids want to pet him. Steve has a hard time telling people not to pet Ozzy when they’re out so Ozzy doesn’t really have a problem with it unless someone is being aggressive or he can sense that something is wrong with Steve.

The problem is that when people treat him like an off-duty dog, it’s distracts him from his main objective: keeping Steve safe. There has not yet been a time where Ozzy was distracted or separated from Steve in public, but that’s what Eddie worries about when Steve doesn’t tell people to let Ozzy do his job.
