If you scream at him he’ll try his hardest to not throw a fit, but he will if it’ll get you to stop drawing unnecessary attention to yourself. If you cry he’ll talk to you about how wonderful life is and how everything will be okay. He’ll even rub your back and massage your shoulder for some bonus points. If you isolate yourself, you’re gonna have to suck that pain up. He needs you their for him and your future/current kids.

If you want to escape him you can just honestly escape his house or, when you’re in public, go to the bathroom and sneak out of the window. Considering all the woman in the bathroom would freak the fuck out, it would give you more time to escape.

Super duper enjoy the idea of Billy Batson being kind of a halfa?

Like, dude gets struck by lightning every time he transforms, so maybe that first transformation, he technically died and was revived by the god magic

So while he's not technically a ghost or an actual halfa, he's just close enough that Danny can sense his distress as King,

So one day the JL are fighting some Eldrich fuck whos from the infinite realms, and they're really struggling, like if the whole league was there it probably wouldn't be as bad but most of the other heavy magic hitters are off world

So Shazam is p much on his own here, and he's not doing so hot, this is probably close to the first time he's ever really struggled to win a battle, at least while the fate of the world hangs in the balance

So off in amity or wherever, Danny gets a little Ping on the KingSense, that's a thing for when one of the king's subjects is in (after)life threatening danger, like truly a big one not just Ur run of the mill life threatening danger

So he hops through a portal and just fucking destroys the thing,

“Hey, somebody wake up John!” Wally called.

“I got it,” said Billy, and scrambling off the crouch he clambered onto the air mattress. “Hey, John!” he said, shaking him. “Time to wake up, buddy!” John groaned.

“Kid’s on it,” said Wally, jerking a thumb into the living room.

“It’s seven thirty!” Billy was saying, bare-legged and fully astride John. “C’mon, it’s time for breakfast –”

“Well, that sure doesn’t seem like a situation we need to intervene in,” said Wally.

i think every fandom needs a pokemon au and daemon au bc i know who I am and what i’m about. but since i’m only writing those for jjk, here’s a dc verse that i was fckn around with

In the Region of Adalet the rising threat is Team Magus which is basically Darkseid and his bs that can be relevant or not depending when the plot happens.

There’s the 8 gyms, elite four, and champion

Idk the order but:

Gotham: Dark, gym leader Bruce- main is crobat but first pokemon was a sableye that he found in the batcave while terrified of the bats.

Metropolis: normal, gym leader Clark Kent(okay i think i’m hilarious look at elite four)-main is his first pokemon Stoutland

Coast City: psychic(?), gym leader green lanterns (they take shifts so it’s always a mix bag when you go to challenge the gym. Sometimes more than one is there and they let you choose.) i’m still thinking on this

Star City: Flying, gym leader Connor Hawke- main is Decidueye which fakes ppl out since it’s not even a flying type but hey :P Ollie used to be the gym leader and mained Talonflame (they were never gym leaders but Roy mained Braviary or Unfezant (a female one, he had since it was a wounded pidove), Cissie is Swellow, Emiko is Hawlucha, Dinah is Altaria, Mia is Staraptor) the gym doubles as an archery range.

Central City: Electric, gym leader Barry, mains jolteon,but his family has been in charge of this gym for forever and can pick up shifts when necessary (Wally’s main is Zebstrika but first pokemon was elekid, Bart’s is pachirisu, Jay is Luxray, Wallace is Raichu). There’s cool snacks in this gym! It’s waiting roomesque bc the gym leader is always late.

Fawcett City: Fairy, gym leader Billy Batson, youngest gym leader mains Togetic, not to be underestimated and is the most likely to switch up his line up.

Atlantis: water, gym leader Arthur Curry mains Empoleon. I won’t front I know the least about him so who knows. But the city is an island and the gym is in an underwater bubble.

Superman: steel, haha get it man of steel, mains Metagross

Wonder Woman: Ground, haha get it made from clay, mains Krookodile

Martian Manhunter: Fire, haha get it irony, mains Darmanitan

Talia Al Ghul: Dragon, i just like dragon types and Talia, mains Noivern

Champion: Kory Anders who mains Ninetails or Typhlosion or Arcanine I’m not sure. Her team doesn’t have a type theme

How The Marvel Family Handles Publicity

[a headcanon by KenanDeliza, and a conversation with @the-brash-spud]

Mary She's the adopted daughter of a rich woman in Fawcett, frequently shown as a model in back-to-school fashion models in the original Fawcett comics, so I'd like to headcanon her as a Fashion model for advertisements in Fawcett City. So she's Definitely not Camera-shy.

Billy:

At first, he was a bit shy when he became a radio host, but took comfort when the listeners could only hear his voice, by the time Mr. Morris made changes for WHIZ Station into becoming more Television-oriented. Billy became a news anchor, and his popularity skyrocketed because of his cuteness factor, but he got used to it, and he's not scared of the camera anymore.

Freddy:

Extremely Camera-shy, it's like being caught like a deer in a headlights. Reporters can capture Captain and Mary Marvel but rarely take a picture of Junior completely. the reasoning? Freddy grew up with a family of sailors [ them, filled with colorful language], that it became like a second language to him, so he's cautious around journalists and children. But if you were to ask him to do a PSA like "don't do drugs kiddos :D" he could mentally prepare himself for the camera firsthand and memorize his lines

My friend suggested that Freddy would slip once in a while,

Bonus point if the public still thinks Captain Marvel is Captain Marvel Jr's Dad and in their perspective this is Junior making excuses in front of his dad (In actuality this is an older brother making sure his younger brother unlearn a swear word and stick to "Holey Moley")

i’m only recently getting into hellblazer (i’m reading the devil you know) and the danny phantom and billy batson stuff in the tag is so weird. i originally thought maybe it was an actual thing for constantine’s character but i guess not?

nooooo it rlly has nothing to do with any John canon at all. the billy batson stuff really was perpetuated by this one user (who I’m not naming but. boy do they owe us Hellblazer fans 200$ for this plague) and what was supposed to be a dumb headcanon snowballed. In 2022 half the tag was billy batson adoption posts. it was terrible. I’m p sure the Danny phantom stuff is a result of the newly invented “fun uncle” mischaracterization for Constantine.

I will almost always check out a new Shazam comic from DC, but I’m particularly drawn towards takes that don’t try to shoehorn him tonally into the mainstream DCU. This one stood out for me by focusing on a more grounded view of Billy Batson as a young teen, and a maybe more realistic(ish) view of how someone like that would adapt to having the powers of a superhero. 1941 Billy Batson is chosen to get the Captain Marvel powers bc he was the only member of the archeologists to not want to take part in graverobbing and the "evil natives" thing ends up being a fakeout (the main villain is one of the archeologists who stole the artefact thing). execution is still cringe but shitty mspaint "not AS colonialism-apologetic as I expected from the 40s" star

jdjejemd don’t tell me omg now I’m enticed to watch it .. but I don’t have the time so I’ll just read funny little summaries abt it and laugh.. it’s very interesting to see the live action cap marvel works evolve I watched the first ep of the 70s one a while back n it was p cute.. like captain marvel as a star and hero in a show format is just an easy formula for a fun watch
