"Pyro-" "SCMPHT." Pyro cut him off. They won't let this go on any further. They motioned him to follow before finger Spelling ^P-L-E-A-S-E?^

Scout sighed, he knew that Pyro would drag him over... Where ever they want either way.

And Pyro exactly did that, dragging him to somewhere. Scout let them, having no energy to really protest nor pull away against it.

In the medbay, Medic was listening to each little detail of the odd behavior of the opposite team, told by our dear paranoid Sniper.

"-ooks like it's hard for them to even *breathe*, Medic! It's concerning!"

How to pronounce Pabchoni words

Pabchoni is a language spoken by the Pabchoni species native to Embaril. Originally, Pabchoni was written with its own alphabet, but now uses the Tionese alphabet. Pabchoni orthography differs from Tionese orthography significantly. This is how the consonants of the Pabchoni alphabet is transliterated and pronounced:

β— b (b as in book)

γ— g (g as in gold)

δ— d (d as in down, or j as in jump when followed by an ε, η or ι)

ζ— z (z as in zap, or s as in pleasure when followed by an ε, η or ι)

κ— k (k as in kill)

λ— l (l as in love)

ν— n (n as in new)

π— p (p as in planet)

ρ— r (r as in Concordian bru’chun)

σ— s (s as in seek, or sh as in shoot when followed by an ε, η or ι)

τ— t (t as in test, or ch as in child when followed by an ε, η or ι)

χ— ch (silent)

Pabchoni does not use the Tionese letters ξ, θ, φ or ψ.

Originally, Pabchoni did not indicate vowels in writing. However, this changed when switching over to the Tionese alphabet. Tionese vowels are pronounced thusly:

α— a (a as in father)

ε— e (e as in egg)

η— ē (i as in trick)

ι— i (i as in elite)

о— o (o as in Mandalorian vod, or u as in but when unstressed)

υ— u (oo as in look)

ω— ō (o as in go)

The Pabchoni letter χ makes no sound on its own, but when paired with certain other letters, it changes the sound of that letter.

βχ— bch (v as in vote, or f as in figure when followed by an ε, η or ι)

γχ— gch (y as in yes)

Because the sound of certain Pabchoni consonants are dependent on the following vowel, vowels can be preceded by a silent letter. The consonant follows the rule of the silent letter; for example, δα is pronounced “da” while δεα is pronounced “ja.”

Pabchoni also includes four diphthongs:

ει— ei (a as in late)

αο— ao (ow as in now)

ου— ou (oo as in trooper)

οε— oe (oi as in droid)

Finally, though the letter χ makes no sound without the letters β or γ, it is sometimes found without these letters, such as in the name Κουδωχ, which is pronounced Koodo. Pabchoni words are always stressed on the second-to-last syllable, which is why Pabchoni does not make use of a stress indicator as in Tionese.

Kartka z pamiętnika I

Nie potrafię zacząć nowego rozdziału. Ciągle tkwię w jednym i tym samym miejscu. Jest chujowo. Chciałabym jakoś to zmienić ale nie potrafię. Nie mam wystarczająco dużo siły.

Chciałabym wstać z łóżka i pomyśleć, że życie jest zajebiste, że mam dla kogo wstawać. Mieć te energie i zapał do życia. A jedyne co mam to nic z tego.

Ale jednocześnie pamiętam wyrządzone mi krzywdy i problem z zaufaniem… Bo jego kurwa już nigdy nie odzyskam. Każda sfera, czy to rodzinna, przyjacielska albo miłosna zostały zburzone. Ja kurwa nie miałam nic, byłam sama kurwa sama na dnie i nikt kurwa nie podał ręki. Nikt nie pytał jak się czuję, czy jest lepiej. NIKT Byłam sama, nadal jestem sama i będę sama.

Życie się w proch rozjebało.

Chciałabym, aby ktoś powiedział, że będzie lepiej. Że stanie się cud. Że moje rany się załatają. Ale… To niemożliwe. Muszę sama dla siebie stać się wszystkim.

To, że żyje to jebany cud I przypadek bo wracając tylko myślami do przeszłości, jest mi przykro, że musiałam to przeżyć. Jest mi przykro jak myślę, jak zginałam się w pół, płacząc. Jak ratowałam się wszystkim co się dało. Byłam wtedy kompletnie sama. Nikt nie wiedział, co tak naprawdę mi jest. Wszyscy widzieli, nikt nie zapytał…

Ukrainian, Lesson 24: Alphabet

Let's take a step back. This lesson is for those who rely on the Latin transliteration/transcription of Ukrainian words but would like to learn how to read the 'original version' :).

Ukrainian alphabet consists of 33 letters that are used to convey 38 sounds. Some letters look similar to their Latin counterparts, even though the sounds they represent might be quite different. Let's take a look at the sounds letters make one by one.

A - [a] sound [as in 'army', for example)

Б - [b]

В - [v]

Г - it's neither g nor h but it sounds closer to h. Voiced glottal fricative, which is just a fancy way of saying 'imagine a voiced 'h' (voiced 't' is a 'd', for reference)

Ґ - somewhat sounds like a 'g' in 'gun'

Д - [d]

Е - [e] (set)

Є - [ye/ie] (yes)

Ж - [zh] (ź in Polish) - imagine the low buzzing sound bugs make

З - [z]

И- [y/ee] (Korean 으 is close to it) - sounds somewhat similar to short [i] in kin, sin, bin.

І - [ee] (ear, (shiba) inu)

Ї - [yi] - similar sound to the one in the word yield

Й - [y] - yield, yes, yarn

К - [k]

Л - [l]

М - [m]

Н - [n]

О - [o] (orange)

П - [p]

Р - [r] (Ukrainian [r] is a bit different but you can stick to your 'r' for starters)

С - [s]

Т - [t]

У - [oo] in boo

Ф - [f]

Х - [h]

Ц - [ts]

Ч - [ch]

Ш -[sh]

Щ - [shch]

Ь - soft sign, no sound; this letter softens the sound of consonants (palatalization occurs as a result)

Ю - [u] (you) :)

Я - [ya] (German ja)

Above, I tried explaining the sounds UA letters make wihout giving you the names of the letters (i.e, 'l' is called 'elle' in Italian but it is not read that way; same story with 'y' being called 'ypsilon' in German or 'b' being called 'bee' in English).
