How The Marvel Family Handles Publicity

[a headcanon by KenanDeliza, and a conversation with @the-brash-spud]

Mary She's the adopted daughter of a rich woman in Fawcett, frequently shown as a model in back-to-school fashion models in the original Fawcett comics, so I'd like to headcanon her as a Fashion model for advertisements in Fawcett City. So she's Definitely not Camera-shy.

Billy:

At first, he was a bit shy when he became a radio host, but took comfort when the listeners could only hear his voice, by the time Mr. Morris made changes for WHIZ Station into becoming more Television-oriented. Billy became a news anchor, and his popularity skyrocketed because of his cuteness factor, but he got used to it, and he's not scared of the camera anymore.

Freddy:

Extremely Camera-shy, it's like being caught like a deer in a headlights. Reporters can capture Captain and Mary Marvel but rarely take a picture of Junior completely. the reasoning? Freddy grew up with a family of sailors [ them, filled with colorful language], that it became like a second language to him, so he's cautious around journalists and children. But if you were to ask him to do a PSA like "don't do drugs kiddos :D" he could mentally prepare himself for the camera firsthand and memorize his lines

My friend suggested that Freddy would slip once in a while,

Bonus point if the public still thinks Captain Marvel is Captain Marvel Jr's Dad and in their perspective this is Junior making excuses in front of his dad (In actuality this is an older brother making sure his younger brother unlearn a swear word and stick to "Holey Moley")

They still respected a part of Mary's origins... She's a Bromfield now, like biologically, the family name of the family that adapted her from the continuity before.

Freddy does not look like Elvis now, and his disability is probably from birth.

Eeeeh, she's already with the Vasquezes by the time Billy arrives, I will say that the "father of billy batson storyline" thing in the Shazam comics, who has selective amnesia, he can remember billy but not his wife or his daughter.

Mary and Billy are twins... dammit!!!

Uncle Dudley is now Darla Dudley :p

But other recent continuities still call Mary as Mary Marvel, not lady Shazam, or Ms. Shazam or Lady Shazam. Nope, she's still called Mary Marvel. (refer to the DCeased story)

I can stomach a change in Captain Marvel Jr.'s name to CM3, as that was really his codename.

Now let us talk about the rest of the cast; OMG we gotta chance to see the Shazam Family!!! Sorry SPOILER WARNING, but I gotta talk about them but after I get a chance to talk about the supporting cast. I like Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield was a character that I can relate to because most of us at that age was worried about going to college but also knowing that we will be moving away from our family that we love and cherish. And she was great playing the big sister role. Michelle Broth respectfully played the adult superhero version of her which was awesome. The rest of the cast Faithe Herman who played Darla Dudley was adorable, I wanted to just grab her and give her a big hug. But when she turn into her adult version, it turned to be Meagan Good, WTF!!! I mean “Hello Ms. Good…” (my sexy voice. Ian Chen played Eugene Choi who was the typical obsessed gamer and tech geek. His superhero alter ego was played by Ross Butler that did a Street Fighter to one of the Seven Deadly Sins, which was funny.  Jovan Armand played Pedro Peña, who was pretty much quiet the whole movie, well until he got use to Billy and defended him against Sivana. His alter ego was played by D.J.
