Thursday | Kitty & Nick 7/13

Hearing that they’d be visiting an auction house soon had really thrown Nick for a loop. He’d been doing a little better with more time since he’d gotten his presentation grade, and doing a scene with Mateo had helped. This, though... He wasn’t ready to see where he was going to end up. He needed to focus on something else if he wasn’t going to go crazy before the weekend was through.

Kitty was a lifesaver. He’d packed his overnight bag with pajamas and toiletries and his backpack with his school things for classes the next day as soon as she’d said to come over. It hadn’t quite been thirty minutes by the time he was outside her door on his knees, and he simply waited there until the proper time before knocking, already feeling a little better in the position of deference.
