Himachali girl vibe check 🤍 I love dressing up. It gives me joy and makes me feel so much confident. Ever since i was a kid i loved dresses and colours of all. Every culture, every part of world. Been here thrice i had been hoping to dress like a local, not over the top studio style dressed up. I just want to be like them. Mix with the locals and mingle with them. In a passing conversation i asked aunty if she knows where i can get dressed like her. Like a himachali. She said she will ask her daughter if her clothes are clean. Morning came we went to the kund, got packed, ate and were about to leave and she said ohh but the dress ! I wore her daughter’s daily dress, no jewellery coz on trek i didnt carry any, no make up coz my face was sun burnt and my nose slightly more swollen and burnt. But ohh my happiness was so real ( last pic ) I kept saying i dont look beautiful but i kept saying i feel beautiful. @vandana.hockey ओलम्पिक के इतिहास में भारतीय महिला हॉकी टीम की खिलाड़ी वंदना कटारिया ने वह कारनामा कर दिखाया जो ओलम्पिक के 125 साल के इतिहास में कोई महिला खिलाड़ी नहीं कर पाई थी| द. अफ्रीका के साथ हुये खेल में वंदना कटारिया ने 3 गोलकर हैट्रिक जमाई ऐसा करने वाली वह पहली भारतीय महिला खिलाड़ी हैं। 36 वर्ष की वंदना कटारिया को आज देश और विदेश ने खूब बधाई संदेश आ रहे हैं पर इस हैट्रिक के पीछे की कड़ी मेहनत और संघर्ष की कहानी बहुत कम लोग जानते हैं। कम लोग जानते हैं उत्तराखंड के एक छोटे से क्षेत्र से टोक्यो हैट्रिक तक का सफ़र। उत्तराखंड में हरिद्वार जिले के छोटे से क्षेत्र रोशनाबाद से आती हैं वंदना कटारिया। वंदना का पूरा परिवार रोशनाबाद में ही रहता है। भेल हरिद्वार से रिटायर होने के बाद उनके पिता नाहर सिंह ने रोशनाबाद में ही दूध का व्यवसाय शुरू किया. वंदना के हॉकी के सफ़र की शुरुआत रोशनाबाद से ही हुई। जब वंदना कटारिया ने हॉकी कि दुनिया में कदम रखा तो गांव वालों ने उनके परिवार का खूब मजाक उड़ाया. वंदना और उनके परिवार को गांव वालों के ताने सुनने को मिले पर पिता के साथ ने वंदना के कदमों को खूब मजबूती दी. वंदना कटारिया की मां सरणा देवी ने भी कभी लोगों की बातों की परवाह न की। रोशनाबाद में खेलों को बुनियादी सुविधाएं तक नहीं थी. वंदना को न खेल का मैदान मिला न साथ में खेलने को साथी वंदना ने इसका भी उपाय निकाला और शुरुआती दौर में लड़कों के साथ ही प्रैक्टिस शुरू कर दी। परिवार को इसके लिये भी समाज के ताने सुनने पड़े. वंदना कटारिया ने अपने खेल को मजबूती देने के लिए प्रोफेशनल तौर पर मेरठ से शुरुआत की। हरिद्वार में वंदना को खेलते हुये प्रदीप चिन्योटी ने पहली बार देखा। जिसके बाद वंदना मेरठ आई और वहां मेरठ के एनएएस कॉलेज स्थित हॉकी मैदान पर कोच प्रदीप चिन्योटी के मार्गदर्शन में प्रशिक्षण शुरु किया। साल 2004 से 2006 तक वंदना ने मेरठ में प्रशिक्षण लिया। यहां वह जिले से लेकर प्रदेश स्तर की प्रतियोगिताओं में हिस्सा लेती थी। साल 2007 की शुरुआत में वंदना का चयन लखनऊ स्थित हॉकी हास्टल में हुआ। यहीं से उनके अन्तराष्ट्रीय करियर की भी शुरुआत हुई। . 💫Vivid⚡️✨Uttarakhand✨ . उत्तराखण्ड की पर्वतारोही @sheetal_the_mountain_girl को तेनजिंग नोर्गे नेशनल एडवेंचर अवार्ड, राष्ट्रपति करेंगे सम्मानित उत्तराखण्ड के सीमान्त जिले पिथौरागढ़ की शीतल राज का चयन साल 2021 के तेनजिंग नोर्गे नेशनल एडवेंचर अवार्ड के लिए किया गया है. 13 नवम्बर को राष्ट्रपति भवन में राष्ट्रपति के हाथों शीतल यह अवार्ड ग्रहण करेंगी. गौरतलब है कि यह पुरस्कार भारत के गणराज्य का सर्वोच्च साहसिक खेल सम्मान है जिसे अर्जुन अवार्ड के समकक्ष माना जाता है. यह पुरस्कार साहसिक खेलों में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन के लिए दिया जाता है. पुरस्कार में तेनजिंग नोर्गे के कांसे के स्टेच्यू के साथ-साथ 5 लाख नकद शामिल हैं। पिथौरागढ़ के एक सामान्य परिवार से ताल्लुक रखने वाली शीतल ने बहुत कम समय में पर्वतारोहण के क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय मुक़ाम हासिल किया है. शीतल ने 2019 में विश्व की सर्वोच्च चोटी माउन्ट एवरेस्ट पर भारतीय झंडा फहराया था. उत्तराखण्ड की एक और बेटी ने किया एवरेस्ट फतह इससे पहले शीतल 2018 में दुरूह मानी जाने वाली कंचनजंघा को भी फतह किया था. उनके नाम कंचनजंघा को सबसे कम उम्र में फ़तेह करने का रिकॉर्ड भी है. शीतल ने जब कंचनजंघा फतह की तब वे मात्र 22 साल की थीं। हाल ही में 15 अगस्त 2021 को शीतल ने यूरोप की सबसे ऊंची चोटी माउन्ट एल्ब्रुस को फतह किया था. उत्तराखंड की बेटी ने यूरोप की सबसे ऊँची चोटी पर तिरंगा फहराया साल 2013 में शीतल ने मात्र 16 साल की उम्र में पर्वतारोहण का प्रशिक्षण लेने की शुरुआत की. 2015 में शीतल ने ‘हिमालयन इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ माउंटनियरिंग’ दार्जिलिंग से पर्वतारोहण का अडवांस कोर्स किया. इसके बाद शीतल ने कभी पीछे मुड़कर नहीं देखा। शीतल, 2014 में रुद्रगैरा (5950 मीटर ,) 2015 में देवटिब्बा 6001 मीटर,) 2015 में ही त्रिशूल (7120 मीटर,) 2017 में सतोपंथ (7075 मीटर,) आदि चोटियों को भी फतह कर चुकी हैं। फिलहाल शीतल कुमाऊँ मंडल विकास निगम के साहसिक पर्यटन अनुभाग में कार्यरत हैं. तेनजिंग नोर्गे नेशनल एडवेंचर अवार्ड हासिल कर शीतल ने एक बार फिर राज्य का गौरव बढ़ाया है. उनकी इस उपलब्धि पर प्रदेश भर से बधाइयों का सिलसिला चल निकला है। . 💫Vivid⚡️✨Uttarakhand✨ .
