My first few months on T, I wrote down little moments that felt significant so I could remember them.
I found them in a notes document recently. This is one of them.

Theseus' Ship
Happy 6th anniversary to Hollow Knight C:
This is a very peculiar piece as it's more personal to my work rather anything game related specifically.
It's to the passing time, the shift and the changes that come along with it. Much like this game changed my life for the better from a spot I felt I was rather struggling to get out of, the artwork represents the 'us' that remain despite the changes.
As Undertale quote says; Despite everything, it's still you.
Different pieces, different times but it's still us and it will continue to be us, even with parts lost and replaced.
The drawing represents my start of drawing Hollow Knight art as well as my current time of it. Both sides take inspiration from my old and recent art that have Hollow in them, as they are who I got most attached to from this game and it shows.
Here's to the future~

I had a dream that I was watching The Terror again and it was… a bit different.
There was a plot where Francis Crozier was pregnant. Not by Fitzjames, no; they weren’t close like that. I think by someone who was 1) a casual hookup and 2) dead. He was confiding in Fitzjames about it, though, and complaining of breast soreness. Fitzjames asked him if he was sure he was pregnant and he said yes, that he recognized the symptoms from when he was younger, and then told a story about how his mother had helped him get an abortion when he was a teenager so he could pursue his then-incipient naval career.
Unfortunately, in the dream, I was watching this version of The Terror with my father and brother and they were confused. “But he’s a man! How is such a thing possible?”
“Transgender,” I explained impatiently, because it was obvious this was the direction the show had gone with the character, even though the actor playing him was still cisgender actor Jared Harris.
“But still, no way this would happen,” I added. “I mean, look at him. He’s GOT to be post-menopausal.”

I'm going to say something controversial.
I don't think Astarion would have abs like that. It doesn't make sense to me. Before he was turned he was a magistrate. That is not the build of a magistrate. And after he was turned he is tortured and starved. That is not the build of someone tortured and starved for 200 years.
Anyway, here's biblically accurate Astarion.

I knew doing Astarion's quest was going to be rough, but jeez, the amount of spoilers I've stumbled upon didn't prepare me for the emotions I've felt by actually doing it.
And this line of dialogue, if you tell Astarion we can save the spawn we find in the dungeons...gods, the emotions.
Astarion: "If they are unleashed, they will cause incredible carnage. They will be ravenous. They must die. Better they serve a purpose."
Elayne: "In another life, you'd have led me to this crypt, and not that pretty clearing in the forest."
Astarion: "Gods...I can't say you're wrong. I can only say I'm so glad we didn't meet then. I don't even want to think what would have happened to you..."
Elayne: "Don't avoid it. Face it. You would have killed me."
Astarion: "I would have killed you..."
The disgust in his voice, the sadness in his eyes...he can't even deny it, because it's true. He absolutely would have killed her, and the very thought makes him sick.
