I have something i want all non-dutch ppl to know because its simply too unhinged not to share. Like, its usually ridiculous, but this is just so much worse than usual.

So theres a dutch childrens tv program about our version of santa (the one with the blackface controversy), and every year, a week before he arrives, they start showing how hes on his way. it always goes wrong, so youre "not sure he will actually make it" until the VERY last minute.

So this year, they traumatized a lot of kids by showing his ship sinking. On top of that, it was revealed that he was *still in spain*. then the next day they showed that there already was a ship in the city he will arrive in. Except the ship was empty and santa was still in spain... So how do they solve this?

Well, they take a lot of news from the past year and make jokes about them so that its at least a little fun for the parents and older siblings.

So they gave him a private jet. They made a Taylor Swift joke. I am crying what a season

long time, no post! but i’m back, you folk, and i have some content to share. this time private thingy. me and my utterly charming aristocrat, @nikolais-little-hell, go to the parade soon and i just really had to sketch messily our outfits cause, let’s be honest, we’ll smash it! 

we have that old & weird book/movie for kids here: mr inkblot’s academy and it has that totally lsd vibe and rainbow design so we plan to somewhat steal the general look.

Nowa "Akademia Pana Kleksa" jest bardzo dziwnym filmem. Dlaczego? Bo z jednej strony stała się mocno krytykowana (głównie za odejście od oryginału, chociaż IMO problemów jest dużo więcej), a z drugiej-osiągnęła ogromny sukces finansowy. Ale ta sytuacja coś mi przypomina-premierę filmu "365 dni". Tak samo jak nowa "Akademia..." film Barbary Białowąs stał się mocno hejtowany, a jednak osiągnął duży sukces. Do tego dochodzi fakt, że te filmy mają wspólnego reżysera, więc... coś jest na rzeczy.
