Panelist Announcements
Howdy, y'all! UK Ponycon fast approaches-- I suppose it's time to tell you what you're gonna in for.~
Our first panelist is a native of the royal land of roses. He's the Owner and Director of EoJ and was responsible for the recent Operation Revamp, streamlinin' this and modifyin' that to make EoJ the best it could possibly be. A passionate and talented, if chaotic, man, he can teach aspirin' creators so much about how to make somethin' beautiful, even when the conditions are rougher than what you can imagine. We have nothin' but respect for this Brit, regardless of any plots to overthrow him that may or may not be occurin'. If you come and listen to his wisdom, I promise, you'll walk away better for it.
That's right, Mr. G will be at UK Ponycon!
...That hasn't exactly been a secret, but just pretend like you're surprised.
In any case, G is excited to meet you all~! UK Ponycon will be held from September 30th to October 1st, at Nottingham Trent University in Nottingham, England. Stop for the panel and stay for a chat. :)

Does Congress need an Inspector General to oversee the USOPC the U.S. Center for SafeSport to ensure accountability to their missions?
Should the Sport Act continue to be an unfunded mandate, or is sport development important enough to public health and other national priorities that it deserves public support?
How do other countries support grassroots sports and protect athletes?
Last month, the Future of Sports conversation series explored what college reform in the public interest might look like. Now, we turn our attention to the Olympic movement in the U.S., specifically the way sports are organized under the Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sports Act, which shapes the experiences of 11 million athletes from youth clubs to Team USA.
Created 45 years ago during the height of the Cold War, the Sports Act needs to be updated. It’s hard to conclude otherwise after reading the final report of the Commission on the State of U.S. Olympics and Paralympics, seated by Congress to study the function and performance of the U.S. Olympic Paralympic & Committee and the 50+ National Governing Bodies of sports that it certifies and oversees. From persistent athlete abuse to declining youth sports participation rates, our sport system has been shaped by fundamental flaws in the design of the Sports Act.

From the SDG Summit to the Summit of the Future: Building the United Nations We Need.
Panelists will discuss how the 2024 Summit of the Future may best accelerate the implementation of the outcomes agreed at the SDG Summit by promoting effective United Nations reform for a stronger, more accountable and inclusive multilateral system.
Side Event at the SDG Action Weekend organized by Coalition for the United Nations We Need, Permanent Mission of the Republic of Maldives to the United Nations, Permanent Mission of the Republic of Uganda to the United Nations, United Nations Department of Global Communications, Stakeholder Group of Communities Discriminated on Work and Descent, Together 2030, International Development Law Organization, Global Women Leaders: Voices for Change and Inclusion, SDGs Kenya Forum, Stimson Center, Baha'i International Community, Oxfam International, International Alliance of Women, Global Call to Action Against Poverty.
To maximize the 2023 SDG Summit's impact, the Secretary General is convening an SDG Action Weekend, which will generate opportunities for stakeholders, United Nations entities, and Member States to convene inside the United Nations Headquarters and set out specific commitments and contributions to drive SDG transformation between now and 2030.
The SDG Action Weekend will consist of the SDG Mobilization Day on Saturday, 16 September, and the SDG Acceleration Day on Sunday, 17 September at UNHQ in New York.
The SDG Action Weekend includes a select number of high-level side-events identified through an open call that concluded in August. They are jointly organized by coalitions of Member States, United Nations agencies and other Member States, United Nations agencies , and global stakeholder networks.

The Final Panelist Announcement
Alright, here's the last panelist announcement!
Our final panelist doesn't work on the EoJ Production, but still her contributions to it and its community are incalculable. You'd know her best as the Events Team Lead, as the coordinator of all the fun, memey, shenanigan-filled weekend afternoons that we have in this server. She also serves as the highest-ranked Baliff, tasked with keeping order and makin' sure the fan server is welcomin' and acceptin' for everyone. In addition, she is G's partner, and functional second-in-command in matters of community engagement.
She won't be speakin' much at the panel itself unless the topic of community engagement comes up-- but she'll be assistin' with the stall, helpin' to (potentially) record the event, and meetin' all you wonderful people!
BBQ will be at UK Ponycon!
