Have you drawn Vittorio before? I'd like to see what he looks like pls.
Vittorio's design has given me more trouble than I expected, I'm still not sure if I'm happy with his looks. He's Machete's trusted personal secretary, a small and modest but resourceful and resilient man. I think he's somewhere in his mid 20's.
I rarely post Izzy, partially because she's 15 years old and so she, like me, spends most of her time in her bed ignoring the world. But capitalism does trigger her prey drive.
[Video description:
A small, sable and piebald papillon mix dog with shaved fur, drool on her chin, and glassy eyes looks towards the camera. Theres faint TV sound in the background.
Me: Eat the ads.
Izzy: -steps forwards-
Me: Eat the rich, Izzy!
Izzy: -stares at the camera for a moment then looks around-
Me: Are you trying to find them? They're not here.
Frannie! She’s so tiny and so cute. She always wears clothes of some sort cause she’s got alopecia. Her back is almost completely nakey. She’s so perfect.
Today is our Wilmo-versary marking the 6th year I’ve had Wilmo! We spent the day in bed because I have a cold 🤧 So here are more pictures from her party! Look at all these friends we’ve made!
Today is my baby boy’s birthday!!! I can’t believe it’s been 7 years with him, he has brought so much joy in my life, I wanted to share with you some pictures from his celebration last year!
No one appreciated my little puppy Maggies cuteness on my other social media so here you go folks! Cuteness overload for all! This is what she does every single time we come home!
Looking into scent work currently. I figured this is something we can do at home and it requires minimal moving on my part. Also it might be great for Bats since he's the thinking type anyway, plus he already has a pretty good foundation regarding skill and stamina with using his nose to find certain things (his ball and of course treats, he can and will search for those for a couple of minutes straight without much effort; hasn't been like that from the beginning tho, that's a trained skill). For Sammy it might be a great way to train the thinking part a little bit more, although he'd require a lot more foundation work. He learned from Bats that using the nose can be quite rewarding, but he'll still give up relatively soon and ask for help, and if they're together outside he'll follow Bats around/ keep an eye on him and once Bats has found a good sniffing spot he'll go there, instead of looking for a good spot on his own. Mostly anyway.
If anyone happens to know of good free resources I'm all ears! There seems to be quite some variety in how to tackle this.
On a similar note, I'm always baffled how dogs will look for things with their eyes a lot and just give up if they don't see the item. Not sure if this is handler induced (by 'helping' them look for it via pointing if they don't immediately find it) or if it's more a general thing that they picked up from humans. Rudi is really awful with using his nose, it makes me want to teach him how to properly use it (he's a dog, dammit, not a human lol).
