some sketches while i listened to my video lectures. i always draw them kissing the same way every time

for context for the second one i think kakyoin grows up to become an anthropologist and anthropology is what we call a social science. however there are elitist/gatekeepy assholes who call social sciences the "soft sciences" and i think it would piss kakyoin off to no end and he complains to jotaro about it a lot

Guys, Kakyoin was also in Part 6! Did you know? Totally happened. I swear. Anyway here’s my Part 6 Kakyoin design.

A few things about the design, I wanted to convey that he was definitely older than the Part 4 version I made of him. He’s ditched the sunglasses and wears regular eye glasses. His hair isn’t long in the back anymore, but short similar to how Jotaro’s is much shorter in Part 6 compared to his younger versions. Kakyoin also has a silver streak in his hair.

Once again I tried to use Jotaro’s design as a guide here, but opposite. Jotaro’s coat is trimmed in gold, Kakyoin’s in silver. Jotaro has a white under shirt and Kakyoin’s shirt is black under his coat. It’s also hard to tell in the photos, but where I used a multi-color camo yarn for Jotaro’s snakeskin pants, I used a gray-based multi-color yarn for Kakyoin’s pants and belt. Sorry I didn't post for a while. I was busy making reels on Instagram :/

Take those designs I made for a part 4/6 Kakyoin.

Like I already mentionned, I relly like Kakyoin's desing in the manga. It's a very simplified miror of Hierophant.

That's what I tried to do here, tho a bit less simplified.

I used the coat's collar to mimic Hierophant's shoulder pads.

And the boots ! God the boot !

general things I don't get about the jjba fandom in general (kill me for these opinions i dont care do it)

. Characterizing Kakyoin in THOSE two ways, it just doesn't feel like him and it's so unnatural, I too am guilty of this at one point (you know what I'm talking about)

. Really loving SBR but not caring at all about JJL and then being super hyped about TJJL? Are you blind to the beauty that is right in front of you?

. Hating Stone Ocean's ending because it's sad, OR JUST HATING ON JOLYNE/SO IN GENERAL WHY DO YOU HATE WOMEN

. Going back to Kakyoin, most of the fandom makes him the Jobro to Jotaro which I actually didnt pick up on my first watch of SDC, I will rewatch JJBA to try and see this
