2023 was something i lack the words to describe. a rollercoaster of emotions i didn't signed up for and couldn't quite understand how to get off? yes, feels about right. it was a year full of ups and downs and some more downs and a bit of ups too. and i know i haven't been here much in a couple of weeks already, i'm still recovering from the bad cold + the depressive episode, so i was literally spiraling out there. but the most important thing is that this year was filled with lots of smiles and giggles and happiness and love regardless! and you guys played a big part in making it brighter and lighter for me and i'm so grateful for every single one of you! thank you for sticking with me, thank you for all the kind and sweet words and for making this little place feel like my tiny cozy home.

Whatever happened to the twelve o ‘clock rambler,

nocturnal venturesome brushstroke sort,

they paint sound and city pastel,

never at a loss for inspiration,

weather neither bar nor barrier,

in the face of whirlwind snowfall,

freezing ice, torrential downpour,

within themselves, he, she, they plod on,

hardship is adopted, never cast aside,

while others brazenly squirm,

wallow in uproarious denial,

wilt before the slightest storm,

taking flight in arid comfort zone,

shelter is their first convenient port,

not for stoic diarist this threadbare exit,

exodus of the half-hearted humbug,

but ironclad ilk stubbornly remain,

eyes and ears are substitute antennas,

alert does not begin an ample portrait,

of this wilful dwindling genus,

genus, genie, genius, glow worm ghost,

peaceful prowlers with pen on queue,

AO3 Timeline Update + Sketches I haven’t posted yet!

Hello, people of tumblr! I’m here with a report on the update status for all of my unfinished works on Archive of Our Own! For those of you who don’t know, on AO3 my username is Moonshot_Sputnik and I have a variety of fics that I’m known for! My tumblr is the only place where I share my fics so a lot of people come from my AO3 to my tumblr for updates and art or from my tumblr where I talk about my work to my AO3 to read them.

A lot of people have been commenting on my works asking when I’ll update them so I figured I should make a master post about when they’ll come out, both as a means for me to commit to something and as a way to show you guys that they haven’t been abandoned. Below I won’t be linking the works since they generate that whole AO3 pop up and that’s obnoxious. What I will link though is my whole page itself, so here it is:

And that’s all the works that I have that are unfinished currently. Every other fic of mine is completed. On my page I have 13 works both active and completed, as well as 2 drafts that I have given up on (for now) and haven’t posted. The top three fics that I mentioned are of my utmost importance at the moment and I plan on completing them at some point. Updates on the last three will likely vary from when I actually get to them. The first three, however, should be fairly timely. Please be patient with me, as of late I’ve had a problem with starting fics and then not finishing them before moving on. I used to be so good about that. So I swear to all of my loyal readers that they will come out soon!

Zandi could have come by in better shape. Not as bruised around the jaw as he was, not as tussled and torn in the garb. But a rough night might as well have been a footnote in the corner of his mind. After all, he'd promised Eliyen a rendezvous, and she'd have one. Not that he'd needed to talk himself into it; even away from an attentive tavern crowd, the swagger of her as she approached, the dancing one that demanded a stage under heady lights and a rapt audience, enticed him like a mystic charm twinkling between dark silhouettes.

So he grinned as brightly as ever as he dangled like a lemur from a one-armed grip on the top of the outer window frame. In his scrape-knuckled grip he pulled from the evening ether a cluster of flowers. Not a harmonious bunch, clearly the round and pastel pickings of some patch of left-alone wild off the side of a road, the vagabond's gift shop. But he'd wanted to bring something that nodded to Eliyen's favor from before, something to show he knew, appreciated, that she'd risked the headache. And to that end, who didn't like flowers?

"Aw, sorry, songbird. Late after all, ain't I?" He curled and swung until he found footing on the sill, crouched in the opening and offered the bouquet. In the soft candlelight of the room's interior, the tie that held the stems together glistened a tasteful gold in the low glow—her hair band. Not a smudge on it. "Encore?"

colorful bases r fun and all but theyre getting out of hand. the event base looks like cotton candy's reject from last month. wheres the quality, like elysian, demiurge, stratosphere, vagabond, nuummite, alabaster, velvet, etc. these new bases look like pastel lunar event bases from wolvden. im so fkn tired of pastels. no offense to the artist. theyre beautiful. but i like dislike wolvden for all the similar blue and green & pink bases. now theyre doing it w lioden w the pastel pinks and blues.

˗ˏˋ ✿ ˖ Observando pelo “lado de fora”, Han Mirae aparentava ter a vida perfeita. Nascida numa família abastada, Han Mirae era a mais velha de três irmãos, filha de musicistas famosos na Coreia do Sul. Desde nova, foi ensinada a tocar uma grande variedade de instrumentos musicais, fazia aulas de canto e dança regulares, além de ter sido alfabetizada em três idiomas além do coreano. Na escola, era considerada uma aluna modelo, popular entre os alunos e adorada pelos professores, tirava notas impecáveis e parecia ser excepcional em qualquer coisa que se comprometia a fazer. A realidade por trás daquelas performances e das máscaras que vestia para ocultá-la, no entanto, estava bem longe de ser agradável.

˗ˏˋ ✿ ˖ Mirae sempre esteve se contentando a interpretar papéis ― estava acostumada a ser a pessoa que esperavam e gostariam que ela fosse, e não a pessoa que ela era de verdade. Ela era a Mirae gentil, doce e delicada, que se sacrificava pelas pessoas, que não tinha problemas, porque sufocava silenciosamente suas próprias emoções. Era a Mirae condescendente, que abaixava a cabeça quando diziam que certo assunto não dizia respeito a si, a Mirae que escolhia não enxergar os erros e os problemas quando eles apareciam. Que não se impunha, que não tinha opinião própria: uma bonequinha manipulável, basicamente. Essa era a identidade dela.

˗ˏˋ ✿ ˖ Dentro de casa, as coisas eram muito mais complicadas do que se imaginava. Acontece que, não estando dentro da casa, não tinha como saber disso. Mirae e seus irmãos ficavam calados, assim como os empregados, que tinham medo de vazar informações e se prejudicarem como consequência. Há inúmeros burburinhos, no entanto, sobre os vários casos extraconjugais do pai de Mirae com outras mulheres, do abuso psicológico contra a esposa e filhos, além da clara negligência. Mirae e seus irmãos aprenderam a fechar os olhos e se calarem, porque sabiam que a situação tendia a piorar se não se comportassem, embora nada nunca realmente melhorasse. O inferno continuava igual entre quatro paredes. 

˗ˏˋ ✿ ˖ No fim de sua adolescência, contrariando as expectativas daqueles que esperavam que Mirae fosse fazer sua carreira na música clássica, Mirae juntou-se à JG Entertainment como trainee, e teve seu debut como a 4ª Primavera do SE4SONS em 2014. Ela esperava conseguir manter-se na posição por mais tempo, contudo, no ano seguinte ocorreu a sua graduação, e ela decidiu que se dedicaria em uma carreira solo, permanecendo na mesma empresa. Durante essa época, Mirae soube mais ou menos como era se sentir livre de sua família. Contudo, numa indústria onde as máscaras e a aparência possuem grande importância, claro que ela não pôde se desapegar de suas performances. Como solista, Mirae lançou-se na indústria utilizando o nome artístico “Beniyuri”, como acabou ficando mais conhecida. Ela debutou no ano de 2017, dois anos após sua graduação no SE4SONS.

˗ˏˋ ✿ ˖ Mirae passou a construir sua carreira solo aos pouquinhos. Ela se envolvia na produção de alguns singles e acabou ficando bem conhecida por ser convidada a participar de singles associados à OSTs de dramas, webdramas e webtoons. Em 2020, o EP “Bon Voyage” foi lançado, fazendo com que sua carreira decolasse consideravelmente.

˗ˏˋ ✿ ˖ Próximo dos últimos meses de 2021, Mirae acabou se casando com um ator e modelo relativamente famoso na Coreia, conhecido por ter atuado em k-dramas que fizeram sucesso tanto nacionalmente quanto internacionalmente. O casamento em si soava bastante nebuloso para boa parte da fanbase de Mirae, visto que foram pegos de surpresa com a notícia. Ela é considerada alguém relativamente sociável na indústria, também, interagindo com frequência com outros artistas e às vezes até mesmo insinuando futuras colaborações.

Isso se manifesta através tanto de uma cobrança excessiva que ela tem consigo mesma como também em episódios de autopunição. Ela machuca a si mesma como uma forma de se punir por “não ter dado o seu melhor”, “pelo seu melhor não ter sido o suficiente”. Crises de ansiedade e ataques de pânico também são experiências constantes.

OÙ SE DÉROULE FAREWELL ?

Le contexte de Farewell prend place dans l’Au-Delà (the beyond), un lieu spirituel qui n’a rien d’un enfer ou d’un paradis, mais dont les attraits et décors sont semblables à notre monde. Un gigantesque océan où les âmes vagabondent d’îles en îles, séparées en cinq biomes distincts (central, nord, sud, est, ouest). Fortement inspiré de paysages liés à la terre, telle que nous la connaissons, avec une touche fantastique. C’est là que les âmes vont voyager une dernière fois, en quête de leurs derniers vœux, guidés·es par leurs passeurs·ses d’âmes, avant de rejoindre la mer des étoiles.

SUR QUOI LE FORUM SE CONCENTRE-T-IL ?

L’ambiance qui habite l’Au-Delà est fortement liée à la réalité, en partie impactée grâce aux souvenirs et mémoires des âmes qui l’habitent. Une véritable société s’y est formée, bien que parfois, plus écourtée et éphémère pour certains·es, d’autres peuvent y siéger des années durant, le temps de saisir parfois, leurs derniers vœux. Bien que cet objectif reste un but pour les âmes qui s’y perdent, il demeure toujours cette nostalgie, cette envie de vivre une dernière fois, dans ces instants de simplicités qui parfois se font grandiose. Au-delà de son aspect fantastique, le forum se calque fortement sur cet aspect tranche de vie, chill & cozy.

Les enjeux présents sur le forum tiennent aux derniers vœux des âmes égarées et de leurs passeurs·ses d’âmes, qui se tiennent là, prêts·es à les guider. Ils relèvent donc d’un aspect particulier, singulier, propre aux personnages et à leurs vécus, leurs histoires. Ce quelque chose vers lequel ils ont tendus, aspirés, durant toute leurs vies humaines et qui se finit en catharsis complète lors du dernier voyage dans l’Au-Delà.

Ici, aucune intrigues politiques ou de grands enjeux mettant en péril l’Au-Delà. C’est une croisière, aux confins de l’abîme de chaque personnage, de leurs mémoires et de leurs souvenirs, si tant bien qu’ils soient sombres ou plein d’espoir.

L’UNIVERS DE FAREWELL.

bien qu’étant un forum fantastique tournant autour du thème de la mort et des esprits, farewell se calque sur la mémoire des âmes et de leurs vécus du temps de leur vivant. en effet, l’au-delà n’est pas une fin en soi, mais le commencement de quelque chose, le début pour les âmes de panser leurs maux. ce qui implique, qu’ici, dans l’au-delà, iels continueront à poursuivre leurs passions, leurs métiers, leurs hobbys. les îles sont vastes et nombreuses, diverses et variées pour qu’iels puissent trouver leurs conforts, retrouver ces instants nostalgiques de leurs vies passées. là-haut, le train-train monotone de leurs vies à ce quelque chose de mélancolique et de sacré.

bien qu’étant un univers féérique, gorgé de magie, ici, il n’y a pas de personnages dit grosbill, avec des capacités cheatées et augmentées.

ici, la magie est suggérée, la féérie se compte sur ces moments éphémères passés en compagnie d’autres âmes, son côté fantastique se calque sur ce qui ronge, abîme, vos personnages et puis qui finit par les sublimer.
