House Rules - Frat!Trevor Zegras x Reader
Tumblr media
Hockey Masterlist
Warnings: swearing, PDA, intimacy (PG-13)
Words: 1765
Summary: This is the first time Trevor’s invited you over to hang at TKE outside of party hours and the evening goes better than anticipated.
A/n: I proofed this one more than I usually do so hopefully y’all like it! I guess frat trevor is the direction we’re gonna go with this acc atm lol.
“You actually came!” Trevor jeers at me from where he stands in the entrance to the TKE house. I roll my eyes and, as annoying as the teasing is, he looks too good for me to be mad. He’s leaning with his right shoulder against the doorway and both hands in the pockets of his grey joggers. It’s a pleasant surprise to see he’s wearing a t-shirt and baseball cap instead of his usual hoodie and beanie combo. Not that I don’t like the hoodie. There’s just something about being able to see how toned his chest is.
“It’s a lot easier now that there’s no one at the door hassling me about a wristband,” I say once I’m close enough to speak at a regular volume. He smiles but shakes his head in a subtle surrender.
“Touché.” As I step onto the porch, Trevor steps out from under the threshold, completely invading my personal space. Before I can question the action, he places both hands on my hips and kisses me gently as a greeting. When we pull away he looks down at me and smiles softly. He’s not even that much taller than me but I feel like he’s fully towering over me. “Come on in.”
I exhale heavily, trying to relax myself. My palms are tinged with sweat and my heart is racing from more that just the kiss. Even though it’s already been a full month since our first kiss, this will be the first time he’s brought me into his space rather than hanging out at my place. I’ve met plenty of the TKE brothers here and there but this is the first time Trevor is having me over for longer than just a quick hi and bye.
Trevor leads me into the space and now that it’s lit by more than just LED party lights, I’m really getting a feel for what this place actually looks like. The walls are stained with various shades of grey from dirt and scuffing and other activities. There’s a hole in the drywall behind the door that’s perfectly aligned with the doorknob. Dirt and grime cover the floor from countless spilled drinks and substances. My shoes are sticking to the floor as we walk and I cringe at the idea of ever being without shoes here.
“Do you guys ever clean…? Like ever?” I ask, hurrying my pace to catch up to Trevor. Once I do, he takes my hand in his and leads me down the hallway to the stairwell.
“Okay babe, rule number one: drop any and all standards of living when entering a frat house.” My heart flutters at his use of a pet name but I don’t want to draw attention to it so I choose to bicker with him.
“Why do I have to drop my standards? Why can’t you just raise your own?”
“My standards are perfectly fine thank you- this way.” At the top of the stairs, Trevor nudges me to the left and down another long hallway of questionable sanitation. It’s not as bad as the ground floor but I’m sure the dark colored carpet was an intentional choice. There are a few random decorations on the walls: a ‘Saturdays are for the boys’ flag, a movie poster for Wolf of Wall Street, and various wooden paddles that have a plethora of names and years written on them. As we reach the end of the hall, Trevor stops me abruptly and knocks on the closed door of what I assume is his bedroom. He shoots me a mildly annoyed look and I quirk a brow in confusion.
“One second!” I hear a feminine voice call from the other side. What the actual fuck? “Okay, you’re good!” Does he just keep other girls in his room at all times?
As I open my mouth to speak, Trevor swings the door open and walks in. I don’t speak but rather move to stand in the doorway to find out what’s going on. When I look in the room I see Val lounging on the end of a twin sized bed. She smiles when she sees me and I instantly relax.
“Hey!” she tries to wave as best as she can but struggles because she’s leaning back, propped up on her elbows.
“I was gone for one minute and you two were already going at it?” Trevor asks facetiously as he flops down onto his own bed on the opposite side of the room. Val scoffs a laugh and shakes her head.
“For your information, Jamie was changing shirts so I waited until he was done.”
“Please. We’ve all seen Jamie shirtless.”
“She hasn’t!” Val argues on my behalf, “And she might not be comfortable with that.”
“You’re fine with that aren’t you, Y/n?” Trevor asks nonchalantly.
“I think that’s more of a question for Jamie, is it not?”
“Thank you for being the only one concerned with my comfort level, Y/n,” Jamie says, teasingly directing the remark to Val and Trevor as he shrugs on a sage green bomber jacket.
“Rule number two: clothes are optional,” Trevor adds.
“That’s rule number two?”
“Yeah, why not?”
Jamie walks over to the bed and sits down to put on shoes and as I observe him getting ready to go, I realize I’ve been standing in the doorway the whole time. I awkwardly step through and make my way over to Trevor. As I walk over to his bed I ask,
“Where are you guys going?” Trevor lazily outstretches his arm to grab my hand and pull me down onto the bed with him. So I sit on the edge, the outside of my right thigh against Trevor’s hip, which apparently isn’t enough for him as he refuses to let go of my hand. Val answers,
“We’re just gonna grab food real quick. Plus, I’m tired of looking at him.” She points an accusatory finger at Trevor, playfully narrowing her eyes. He glares back at her before tracing circles with his thumb on the top of my hand.
“When you point a finger at someone in blame-” Trevor says in a dramatic cadence.
“There are four fingers pointing back at you!” Val completes his sentence.
“Or three…” They say in unison and then share a laugh. Jamie and I exchange a confused look and he shrugs which leads Trevor and Val to gawk at us.
“Bullet Train?” Trevor asks incredulously. I shake my head slowly to indicate the name isn’t ringing any bells.
“I know Jamie hasn’t seen it, but you too?!” Val chimes in.
“I can’t say I have.”
“We’re watching it tonight when we get back,” she declares before turning her attention to Trevor, “I’ll have Jamie text you when we decide on where to eat and you can send him your orders.”
“Oh, you don’t have to get me-”
“Don’t trip chocolate chip. I’m interning with Paramount right now so I have big girl money,” she cuts me off mid-sentence, “Plus, I don’t want anyone to starve during the movie that we will be watching.”
“Well, that’s very generous of you.”
“It’s always important to rely on the kindness of strangers… even though we’re not strangers,” Val responds sweetly. She then looks at Jamie and her demeanor changes to playful exasperation. “Are you ready yet?!” Jamie looks at her a moment, both of them biting back a smile. Before Val can react, Jamie bear hugs her to tackle her onto his bed.
“Does it look like I’m ready yet?!” He bites back jokingly.
“Yes…?”
“Yeah, I am.”
“Cool,” Val stands up and holds her hand out to Jamie which he takes. She then pretends to put her whole body weight into heaving him off the bed. “God, are you made of lead?!”
“Oh shut up.” Jamie stands before placing a kiss on Val’s cheek. She smiles brightly and then pulls him out of the room.
“See you guys!”
“See ya… I like Val,” I say to put a button on the moment. Watching Val and Jamie interact so sweetly makes me smile.
“Me too. She’s been really good for Jamie.” When I turn to look at Trevor, I find he’s already looking at me. Instead of breaking the moment he sits up and he stares into my eyes. His smile grows at the sight of my own.
“What?”
“You’re pretty is all.”
“So… what do you want to do until the movie?” I ask sincerely. Trevor doesn’t answer. He just smirks and I can tell exactly what he’s trying to say. Grinning, I slip off my shoes and he moves up to rest against the headboard. Crawling onto his bed, I straddle his legs before gently sitting on his lap. Trevor’s hands find my waist, caressing the sliver of exposed skin between the hem of my cropped shirt and the waistband of my pants. He tilts his head upwards to kiss me but before we connect, I take his baseball cap by the bill and slide it all the way around until it sits backwards on his head. He smiles up at me before closing the gap between us.
The feeling of his lips on mine sparks a fire inside of me, just like the first time we kissed. It was a full month ago and yet it feels like yesterday. His lips move passionately in sync with mine. He then pulls my bottom lip between his teeth, grazing the skin with an air of desire. Our movements feel desperate for one another, consumed by kiss. The scent of his familiar cologne, the delight of tracing my fingers over his jaw bone and lacing them into his hair, the electricity of his hands sliding over my hips to firmly grab my ass, all of it envelopes me at once. I can feel myself falling hard for Trevor Zegras. .
Gripping my left hand in his hair, I drop my right to rest on his firm chest. Under the soft fabric of his cotton t-shirt I feel the grooves of his three millimeter chain and hook my fingers in it gently. He groans into the kiss and I slide my right hand up to tilt his chin up. I kiss across his jaw and then down the length of his neck, occasionally grazing a bit of his skin between my teeth. He lets out a choked whine before reconnecting our lips.
“I want you so bad right now.”
“What about Val and Jamie?”
“We’re fine. Rule number three: always knock before opening a closed door.”
“Take me.”

A/n: I was gonna make this a really long part but then I decided to split up the exposition and the actual smut in favor of making shorter parts. Hope y’all liked it and get the decision to split things up.

PDA - Trevor Zegras x Hughes!Reader
Tumblr media
Hockey Masterlist
Warnings: swearing, PDA, dub-con regarding being smothered with affection
Words: 2094
Summary: Trevor comes to visit you for the holidays, and your relationship is quite an adjustment for your brothers.
A/n: This is kind of what I meant by Birthday Girl having four parts? Like this is a fourth part technically because it happens in the same universe but instead of your birthday we’ve jumped to the holiday season.
“Trevor!” I sprint to greet my boyfriend, practically launching myself into his arms which forces him to abandon the suitcase he had been rolling along. He does so gladly before unintentionally shouting in my ear,
“Ohh I missed you so much!” We hug as tight as possible without crumpling each other.
“I’m gonna be sick,” Jack complains as he stands a solid ten feet behind the two of us in the open space of the bustling baggage claim area.
Even though UC Irvine is a mere fifteen miles from the Honda Center, being on the quarter system means my winter break started after the first week of December. Naturally, I want to spend every moment I can at home with my family. Or at least, what’s left of my family with Quinn and Jack both out of state. This long break usually means that I go home for a bit whilst Trevor’s hockey schedule keeps him busy right up until the actual holidays; which leads us to spend two weeks apart, in two different time zones, and Trevor and I weren’t built for distance.
Finishing up my senior year of high school was rough without him, but once I got in to Irvine and moved to California we’ve lived a monotony of happiness ever since.
“I missed you t-” Trevor cuts me off with a passionate kiss. We linger in the moment, lost in the sensation of one another. The hustling of the airport suddenly ceases to exist and all that matters in the world is Trevor. In the flurry of excited affection, I sigh a breath of relief to be back together at last. When we pull away Trevor’s smiling ordinarily but I can tell something is off, I just know it. Before I can ask what’s up, he quickly reaches out to grab the hem of the heather grey beanie I’m wearing before pulling it down to cover my face.
“Stop it!” I pull my beanie back up and shove him away by his chest but he barely falters. He just catches my hand in his before holding it tight and kissing my palm; this is how we figured out a silent way to say ‘I love you’ since neither of us was fully ready to say it out loud. Then, Trevor’s eyes flick up and over my head before smiles brightly. So fixated on our affectionately playful exchange, I failed to notice that had Quinn approached us and already greeted both Jack and Luke.
“Quinn!” I run to greet him with a hug as well which makes him laugh as he hugs me back.
“Missed you, kiddo.”
I gesture for Jack and Luke to bring it in and they scoff reluctantly before joining the group hug. They do so since Quinn is our unspokenly agreed-upon favorite brother, and all four of us are then tangled into one big pile of happy Hughes. There’s a mix of laughter, overlapping chatter, and playful chirps passed between the four of us before we pull away from one another. Each of us is donning the biggest smile as we take one another in after four long months. Jack is the first to break away from the moment so he can ‘bro hug’ his best friend, which then turns into him and Trevor patting each other’s heads as if they were wearing helmets. Quinn gives Trevor a polite and far more reserved hug. Luke also bro-hugs Trevor  and amicably smacks him on the shoulder, shaking his head in disbelief,
“I still can’t believe you’re dating Y/n.”
“Yeah, it’s fucking gross,” Jack adds, directing his comment to Quinn as a result in reference to the plethora of kisses he was unfortunate enough to have witnessed.
“Stay mad about it.” I nudge my brothers out of the way to make Trevor hug me again. He gladly obliges, kissing the top of my head which leads Luke to groan, Jack to gag violently, and Quinn to laugh at the other two. “Let’s get home, shall we, gentlemen?”
“Yes ma’am.”
“Who’s driving?” Trevor asks. I reply before anyone else can,
“I am. Also, Quinn, you’re up front.”
“Why does he get to sit in the front? He’s the shortest one!” Luke complains.
“Because I’m tired of you being on aux and also I’m sure you want to play catch up with those two idiots,” I gesture to Trevor and Jack who are already invested in a conversation of their own.
___________________________
“My babies!” Mom cheers as we all enter the house. I skip over to hug her first as if I haven’t been at home for the last two weeks. She laughs and hugs me anyways before embracing the rest of the boys one by one. The last person mom hugs is Trevor and when she does she looks him up and down, “You’ve gotten so tall these past few years.” She then looks at me and winks.
“Mom.”
“Yep, still growing. Although, I don’t think I have Luke beat quite yet.”
“And you’re not going to,” Jack teases. I laugh lightly and Trevor looks at me with a fake glare,
“Is that funny to you?”
“A little, yeah.”
“Oh yeah?” He challenges.
“Yeah.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.” I cross my arms not backing down from Trevor’s challenge and raising my brows as a dare. Trevor takes a beat to look at me, narrowing his eyes mischievously. My confidence wavers as I anticipate what comes next, which was just the moment he was waiting for. With my guard down, he darts for me and I’m too slow to react so as I try to run he grabs me by the waist to hold me back. Pulling me closer despite my playful resistance, Trevor wraps both arms around me to hold my back to his chest. I try to escape, using all my weight to fight it but he doesn’t give and I tire out quickly, unable to resist him. He kisses my cheek as he grips my waist and I screech with laughter as he digs both hands into my sides.
“Okay, you win! Let me go!” I say between bouts of laughter. Trevor eases up, smiling wide as he spins me around to face him. He’s always said my laugh is contagious. Without looking away from his mesmerizing eyes, I call over my shoulder,
“Trevor can set up in my room, right mom?” I bat my lashes, knowing she doesn’t approve but indicating in my tone that I’m taking him with me whether she likes it or not. She gives him what I assume is a disapproving look because he makes a face at me before instantly jumping in to butter her up with the usual effortless charm he executes so well.
“I’ll keep her out of trouble, Mrs. Hughes.”
“You start dating my daughter and suddenly I’m ‘Mrs. Hughes’ again, huh?”
“HAH!” Luke cackles from the other room.
“Ellen,” Trevor says with corrective emphasis. Mom looks as if she’s fighting off amusement before she finally caves.
“Door stays open.”
“Yes ma’am.”
I then take Trevor’s hand in my own and proceed to lead him to my childhood bedroom which remains untouched by mom and dad. The only changes made are the missing items that I took to college with me which wasn’t that much now that I’m really looking at it.
“This is so weird,” Trevor says as he enters the room behind me. He takes in the sparse wall decor leftover from my time growing up in this room.
“What?”
“I’m just used to only going in Jack’s room, it’s weird being in yours after all those years of…” He trails off suspiciously.
“All those years of what?”
“Uh, nothing.”
“You’re the world’s worst liar.” I hang up my bag, tucking the car keys into the front pocket.
“No, I’m not!”
“You so are.”
“Whatever. Point is, your room is not what I expected.”
“How so?” I ask, hopping onto my bed to sit, innocently swinging my legs as they dangle above the ground. Trevor sets his bag down at the foot of my bed, slipping off his shoes before coming to sit on the bed next to me. He flops down onto the bed, laying back to peer up at me through his long lashes.
“I’ve never paid attention to all the posters on the walls.”
“You don’t like my Hereditary poster?”
“It’s kinda creepy but still cool.”
“You’re kinda creepy,” I fire back without thinking.
“But still cool?”
“Nope.” Trevor’s jaw drops, taking false offense to the joke that is not at all a dig. He rolls the joke right off and then quickly reaches up, grabbing me by the waist and pulling me down onto the bed with him. He flips over and maneuvers the two of us to hover slightly above me. Delicately tracing the outline of my lips with his eyes, Trevor looks me in the eyes and holds my gaze a moment. His eyes flutter closed as he leans in to kiss me softly. I tangle my hands into his loose curls, playing with the strands in my grasp as I melt into the kiss. His lips are soft and he smells like my favorite cologne which he undoubtedly used on purpose. After a prolonged kiss, he pulls away slowly.
“Hi,” I whisper, afraid to shatter the moment.
“Hey.”
“How’s it going?”
“Pretty good. How about you?”
“Oh, you know. Same as usual.”
Trevor pauses a moment. He looks away and takes a small breath before nervously meeting my gaze once more.
“I missed you a lot.”
“Oh? I missed you too.” He shakes his head ‘no’ softly as if I’m missing the point. My brow furrows in confusion and I sit up a little bit, propping myself up on my elbows as Trevor rolls onto his side. He curls up to me and lays his head on my ribcage to mutter,
“I don’t know, it’s like, I wasn’t expecting to miss you that much.”
“Oh.” I lift my right hand to rest it on the side of his face for a moment, petting his cheek lightly before dropping my fingers under his chin, tilting his head up so he’ll meet my eyes again. My heart is pounding, bracing myself for what comes next.
“I love you.”
We both sit silently and a giant wave of anxiety crashes down on me the instant he doesn’t respond. I breathe a bit shallower and lightly move Trevor off of me so I can sit up straight and put some distance between the two of us.
“I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable or-”
Trevor shuts me up with a kiss, guiding my face with his hand and sitting up to meet my height. I allow myself to relax into the embrace and Trevor’s hands drop to grab my waist. He deepens the kiss with a passion I’ve never felt before but hope to feel as long as I live. He’s the first to break away and speak.
“I love you, too.” I smile softly as the anxiety dissipates. I then pull him in again for a quick peck which is punctuated by the sound of Jack gagging from behind the door.
“Oh my god,” he pushes through the crack, one hand covering his face as he enters. “Are you both fully clothed?”
“Yes, dumbass. What do you want?” He removes his hand from shielding his eyes.
“Mom wants to know if you’re joining us to watch Elf.” I look to Trevor who shrugs,
“Why not?”
The three of us head downstairs to the living room where the rest of the family is waiting with the screen paused on the studio logos preceding the movie.
“More of my children!” Mom cheers which makes me and Trevor laugh.
“That was horrible. Don’t ever make me go get them again,” Jack says as he takes a seat on the floor next to Luke.
“Why? What’s wrong?” Mom asks Jack sincerely.
“They were being all mushy and shit.”
“He’s just bitter ‘cause he’s lonely,” I clarify to mom before taking a seat on the couch in the corner, leaving Trevor to sit between me and mom. He gladly accepts the spot, settling in before grabbing my legs to lay them over his.
“Can we make a rule about PDA in the living room?”
“Jack-” I start to protest.
“What?! It’s weird.” Trevor just laughs before kissing the top of my head as he did at the airport. Jack gags violently to make a point,
“See?!”

A/n: I wanted to post something themed for the holiday season and I’m treating myself on my birthday by letting myself write this instead of doing homework LOL. Hope y’all liked this and there’s probably more Trevor content to some although I do want to write another Jamie piece at some point.
