I’ve now seen the “would you eat lab-grown meat” poll twice, which means it is time to air one of my least charitable opinions---namely, I think imitation meat is an abomination. I could pretend this is for noble reasons (and I want to believe I have a couple in the mix) but truthfully its existence revolts and annoys me. It feels like a kind of hypocrisy; I mean, I’m sorry if you crave chicken wings for whatever reason? but you’re the one who gave up an omnivorous diet and refused to get creative with the foods left to you. Eat your cauliflower in buffalo sauce and shut up.

idk how to explain how isolating it is to have people vague post about me and how bitter and mean and toxic I am for…. the crime of feeling alone in my disabilities
other people talking about their spinal disabilities: I hope I never have to have a spinal fusion like you!!! that would be the absolute worst case scenario!!! I can’t imagine being so immobile and having so much metal in me!!!
me talking about mine: I really, really hope I live to at least 35 but I’ll even settle for 30. I am making contingency plans for if I become totally quadriplegic so I never end up violently abused by family again. I wrote my first living will when I was 21 and have updated it 2x since

Pattie Boyd was hired as a photographer for UNHCR campaign to make awareness about the refugees.
This is the information from UNHCR website:
"This November, celebrity photographer and author, Pattie Boyd and six incredible refugees came together to create a portrait series to remind everyone of the individual human stories that sit ‘Beyond the Headlines.’
Alexandra, Amany, Hamzeh, Najee, Maysara and Vera have all found safety in the UK after being forced to flee their homes in Afghanistan, Syria and Ukraine. They joined Pattie for a photoshoot with a difference – each photograph features genuine news headlines that relate to their personal story.
With conflicts and crises making headlines nearly every day, there’s a risk that society can forget the ordinary people affected, whose lives have been changed forever. Alongside each portrait, find out more about each person’s story – from memories of winter, to their passions and hopes for the future.
This winter, we’re asking you to look beyond the headlines."

...do you think Dante ever realised how Vergil-like he was acting around Patty? She was quite obnoxious in the anime, did he ever think 'oh no is this what being Vergil felt like?', or 'was I ever this annoying?'...
Knowing Patty did him a lot of good, do you think it, per chance, also reminded him of happier times in his and Vergil's childhood when they just played together and annoyed each other all the time?...only to, of course squash those nicer memories the moment Patty leaves, because then the reminders of what he's done come crashing down....
