I guess I should say few positive things about the weekend and today, just not to be such a downer.
1. My brother is off from the army for the whole week and he’s spending a long weekend here. So he’s leaving on Wednesday. And sure, he’s an asshole but he’s our asshole (and let’s be honest, our family is mostly made of assholes, I’m the sarcastic kind).
2. We did get one day at the cottage, even though it ended horribly. And while there we took a quick boat trip, I saw a wolverine, and ate a lot of berries (blueberries, raspberries, wild strawberries, and red currants).
3. On Sunday we went to the third national park in the area, Petkeljärvi, and that’s the last one around here. The other two are Koli (wish I’d visited in the summer rather than early spring) and Patvinsuo.
4. Went to see Dunkirk today (I know I’m late). I really enjoyed it a lot and it was great to get my mind elsewhere for few hours.
5. I’m going to go and watch James Bond coming from tv and probably enjoy vanilla ice-cream and cloudberry jam in a bit.
