Paving The Way

I might get cancelled for this but I want to talk about something controversial.

Specifically: Paving The Way.

It has come to my attention that some of the other members of BTS feel like they can just fling their nipples all over the place as if it's nothing. I mean, like wtf is the problem with them?

They need to remember these nipples Paved The Way:

The audacity.

In case anyone has forgotten, Jimin Paved The Way Of The Nipple Road ... yes those are Jimin’s nipples the members are walking on or behind or whatever. Their nipples are possible because these Paved The Way:

My little anchovy worked his nipples off for ten years though they did go into hiding for a while (why?) I don’t know maybe BT21 took the "living rent free in my mind" thing too far and needed a job for a while.

This wasn’t my time but back in the day, women protested by taking off their bras and burning them. I don’t know where I was going with that except all I know is that Victorian era is over because we’ve not only seen Yoongi’s naked shoulders ...

...we’ve seen Tae’s nipples ...

...and almost RM's crotch which he deleted. Why is he always the awkward one? Anyway, I digress...

And finally, bunny nipples which is funny because now he is just so... hello! here they are! .... after YEARS of split second peek-a-boo Fake Love. The Paved the Way comment

I really don't mean to be doing this on their anniversary 😕, but I hate when people say BTS paved the way.

The reason why I don't like this is that some Armys will comment this when people give props to bands like Big Bang.

One why can't people give props to other groups. Two you literally cannot pave the way for a group that came before you.

This comment is an erasure for so many artists. Psy actually did pave the way for BTS bc Gangnam Style came out in 2012 a year before BTS debuted.

This comment is also an erasure to artist that came up with them. Monsta X had a charting English song (Who Do You Love?) a year before Dynamite came out. Did Monsta X pave the way for them?

There are so many Kpop groups that have achieved so much in their careers: Shinee, Monsta X, Exo, NCT, Seventeen, Got7 etc.

BTS is definitely my favorite group, but that doesn't mean other group haven't made meaningful contributions to the industry.

“When she applied to run in the Boston Marathon in 1966 they rejected her saying: “Women are not physiologically able to run a marathon, and we can’t take the liability.” Then exactly 50 years ago today, on the day of the marathon, Bobbi Gibb hid in the bushes and waited for the race to begin. When about half of the runners had gone past she jumped in. She wore her brother’s Bermuda shorts, a pair of boy’s sneakers, a bathing suit, and a sweatshirt. As she took off into the swarm of runners, Gibb started to feel overheated, but she didn’t remove her hoodie. “I knew if they saw me, they were going to try to stop me,” she said. “I even thought I might be arrested.” It didn’t take long for male runners in Gibb’s vicinity to realize that she was not another man. Gibb expected them to shoulder her off the road, or call out to the police. Instead, the other runners told her that if anyone tried to interfere with her race, they would put a stop to it. Finally feeling secure and assured, Gibb took off her sweatshirt. As soon as it became clear that there was a woman running in the marathon, the crowd erupted—not with anger or righteousness, but with pure joy, she recalled. Men cheered. Women cried. By the time she reached Wellesley College, the news of her run had spread, and the female students were waiting for her, jumping and screaming. The governor of Massachusetts met her at the finish line and shook her hand. The first woman to ever run the marathon had finished in the top third.”
