Movie!AU where the Mario characters are actually just acting and the scene where Peach rejects Bowser has like 20 takes because every time Peach says she’ll never marry him, Bowser for real looks ready to cry and can’t muster up the anger (bc IRL he and Peach are actually married) and while Peach is cooing and consoling him, Toad!Director is just like “Mr. Bowser, sir, this film is for families, you’re gonna depress a whole generation of 5-year-olds. Please get it together.”

COPING WITH ROCK N ROLL

Silly/Sad Bowser head cannons

(My grammar is so bad on this so yeah)

Okay so I've watched the Mario movie 5 times now and I just can't get over the scene where Kamek interrupts Bowser's jam session with bad news and he's absolutely furious

Like it makes KAMEK jump, the man who accompanies him 24/7

He was a whole new level of angry

BUT THEN he tells Kamek to play with him and he seems more composed??

Y'know what I think

Bowser's go-to coping mechanism is pouring his heart and soul into playing instruments

Which explains why the Peaches song slaps so hard

Which also explains why he got so damn upset that Kamek interrupted his piano therapy session with bad news about the woman he was expressing his feelings about

Which also could explain why the hell they gave him a piano in his lil cage prison when he was captured

Which also gives me silly head cannons

Bowser obviously thinks about Princess Peach alot

(Who could blame him she's hot asf and a girlboss)

And during the Peaches song we see onscreen, the emotions are more positive because he truly believes that she has no other choice but to marry him

Ex: Him already having a suit ready and a venue (bc I'm pretty sure he tried to marry her the same day)

He's pretty much singing about how much he loves her and how he'll force her to marry him and the images of her in the background are expressing love and affection towards him which obviously isn't reality

But what if Bowser secretly knows that this isn't reality and stays up at night sometimes thinking about it

Well, he knows it isn't because he admits that he knows Peach hates him

He'll lay there in his bed thinking about how big and empty his castle is without her there and his eyes dart to the electric guitar set up in the corner of his room

Oh yeah, it's jam time baby

Turns on those big ass stereos that Kamek got him when he was a teenager and just plays his heart out

He's doing those deep heavy metal screams and he's made up a song

The chorus is pretty much him asking why she doesn't love him

Sometimes he'll just let everything go through loud music and screeching lyrics that he ends up sobbing on the floor

Poor turtle boy

Meanwhile Kamek in the other room is regretting buying him that

It's 4 am and he has to put pillows over his ears which barely blocks out the loudness of Bowser's emotions

In the morning he goes to wake the King up and finds him on the floor next to his guitar with dried tears on his face

Poor thing just needs someone to love

Okay guys let me know if you want more silly head cannons cause I have a lot. Also should I write a fic on this? Bowser and his metalhead s/o jamming out on positive emotions
