Wukong turned to look at ‘Pigsy’ with a smirk. “You really think I’m gonna fall for that again, DBK?”
"Hmph. With all the pining you do over the fool, I figured you would be distracted with the flirting." DBK, still wearing Pigsy's form, settled on the bar stool. "What gave me away?"
"The flirting, ironically enough," Wukong turned back to what he was doing, which was making cake. Tang had discovered one of his old cookbooks when going through his horde and Pigsy had insisted on trying some of the desserts. Apparently, the noodle shop's menu needed an update. Pigsy had run out to the market a while back leaving Wukong in the kitchen, which is probably why DBK thought to do this now. "Pigsy is a happily married man. And if you're here just for cake, you can just ask."
"He's fond of you, and his husband is very fond of you." DBK pouted. "And he's a better option than any option you've considered before."
"Oh, wow. We've started talking again for barely two months, and you already think you have a say in my love life." Despite his irritation, Wukong pulled out one of the peach cakes and passed it over. He tried to resist a snort at the hunger in DBK's eyes. "Are you and Nezha just plotting over that?"
"What has Nezha said?"
"He set Macaque on fire yesterday. He claims he didn't, but considering the fire was hot pink, I don't believe him."
DBK snickered in a way that suggested he was planning on coming by Nezha's place with snacks. "Good boy. But," He stood up straight, staring Wukong down. "I don't blame you for having a crush. He's a good man." Wukong held up a hand, ready to protest, but DBK was already grabbing it and squeezing it tight. Wukong felt his voice die at the feeling of holding Pigsy's hand, even if it wasn't actually Pigsy. "Much better than you deserve-"
"Uh..." Both heads turned. Pigsy, arms loaded with groceries, stared at Wukong holding hands with someone who was most definitely not Pigsy. "What are you doing?"
To be fair, throwing DBK's peach cake at his face was not the best response.

Top Ten favorite ships! GO!!!! - Pixel Anon
Pffft. Looks at rarepairs which is mostly what my head is full of also these are the ships I can think of the top of my head
Peachpig/peachbun - Peachpig is a comfort ship and I am a massive Zhuhou shipper. It has my favorite tropes like bickering old married couple and enemies to lovers (I like being a content maker of this ship). It also a lot of longing in it if we go with the idea that Pigsy is Zhu Bajie’s reincarnation and I’m a sucker for pining. I like the idea of them gradually beginning to trust each other and be a sweet couple.
FreeNoodles - This is also a ship I really like because I’m a fan of bickering married couples. Also a lot of pining
MKsdadshipping is really cute because it’s three of my favorite characters in one big ship
Jasminetea - someone said it’s the underrated dynamic of feral small and calm tall and I completely agree with it. And I like the idea that if Sandy is Sha Wujing that he’s getting the love he deserves from someone.
Spicynoodles - enemies to lovers is one of my jams
Chimerashipping - I like the idea of Red being comfortable with how MK and Mei are a package deal and loving them both for it along with their many other traits. Also MK and Mei agreeing to share one guy with each other and being completely okay with it.
Cyberhunt - It’s like a jock x nerd trope. It’s just a shame we didn’t get to see more of the spider’s dynamics.
Peachtea - Tang would be that nerd who got with their celebrity crush. Ship also has pining in it. (Technically all the ships do in some form or another)
Silktea - I don’t actively think of this ship a lot but I do think the idea of Sandy helping Huntsman and helping him grow into a better person is nice. This is also feral small and calm tall.
For the last one, I guess Demon Bull King x Princess Iron Fan. I think it’s cute that they love each other and I like how PIF nuzzles her husband at the end of the S1 finale says smth along the lines of “You’ve come back to me.”
There are a lot of cute ships out there though.
Send me a ship question

It was... kind of embarrassing that he hadn't figured it out on his own.
Though to be fair, It wasn't like he had ‘magic truth seeing eyes’ like His part-... His ex-...His hus-... Like Sun Wukong did. And this world was kind of… made to throw him off balance, and with that everything else followed.
Waking up in the middle of the night to a knocking on his door wasn’t...something he was particularly used to of course, But it wasn’t wholly unfamiliar. Of course with the rain pounding down in sheets (Did the weather machine break again? That thing was so damn buggy what was the point in having it?) he couldn’t hear any telltale noises from the other side of the door other than the insistent knocking itself.
He was expecting Xiaotian, maybe Xiaojiao. At Most Strange, Red Son. Mystic Monkey Business, Panic attacks, ‘I couldn’t think of anywhere else to go’ He’d seen a fair amount of the kids on his doorstep before with a fair amount of reasons for their presence. And you know… he figured it would probably be easier to take care of one of the kids right now than to deal with his own emotional garbage anyway.
And then he opened the door and his entire thought process derailed with Sun Wukong standing there, in his true form (the same as his casual form but at least a head shorter than him) fur soaked and heavy from the rainfall, and very visibly choking back tears.
“Wukong…” he’d curse the tremble in his voice but his brain wasn’t quite working right now, so consumed with shock he couldn’t do much else but stand there. Wukong was trembling, from emotion (As surely he’d handled far colder weather) and as the Monkey King took a deep breath as if to steady himself, Pigsy wanted nothing more than to kiss the misery right off of him.
But that wouldn’t be welcome right now, would it?
“Pigsy… Can we talk?” His voice cracked with emotion and Pigsy felt he was helpless to do anything but stand aside and let the Monkey in.
“Are you alright?” what a stupid question. Wukong laughed bitterly in response.
“Not really…” He sniffed and Pigsy wanted again to comfort him, but, again, confronted that he’d probably make it worse. “Look, all of this stuff… it’s been a lot and my head’s been all over the place this whole time but I can’t play the denial game anymore just because I want to be miserable.” Wukong scrubbed at his eyes. “And we need to talk, like WOW do we need to talk. But honestly?” He shrugged, helplessly. “I just miss you.”
And.. this honestly felt like some moment at the end of a cheesy romance movie, and yeah they really did need to talk about everything. But in that moment, now that he knew he could, All Pigsy was interested in, was giving in to the urge and kissing the misery right off of Wukong’s face.
And after that they did talk, extensively, the fact that a fair bit of it involved the two of them clinging to each other and sharing far softer kisses on the couch as the rain continued to pelt against the windows was beside the point. Wukong stayed in his smaller form, Pigsy only asked about it briefly and Wukong only responded that he’d just really prefer to be held over doing the holding right now.
It was… odd at first, Wukong seemed to be under the impression that he needed to make the majority of the apologies, that somehow the whole ‘Being Zhu Baije’ Stuff was more important than Wukong knowing the initial purpouse of their relationship (before Pigsy had realized, before he’d known better) and playing along anyway; but he also seemed to easily accept it when Pigsy began to trade his own apologies.
They both had stuff to apologize for, and he was just glad he was finally given a chance to.
Then for a time they’d simply cuddled, allowed the wounds to heal in eachother’s presence. Pigsy had nodded off again at some point, but by the time he woke up it was still dark out, the rain still pelting the windows. He was alone on the couch but he could hear a familiar rummaging coming from the kitchen. Though it was probably late enough that there was no point in trying to sleep again, he figured he should just start the day properly by now.
It seemed like Wukong was of a similar mind because just as he’d properly sat up and stretched the monkey returned from the kitchen with a few cut up peaches, the bowl sat between the two of them as a simple breakfast.
“What time is it?”
“Early.”
They ate in silence, sweet, blessed, comfortable silence. He hadn’t wanted to fantasize about it from how much he’d been afraid it would never happen again but now that it was back, he found himself positively basking in it. When Wukong leaned to the side just enough to rest his head on Pigsy’s shoulder it was more than he’d expected would ever happen again.
This whole thing must have started earlier than he thought because just as he was starting to get restless the sun was no closer to creeping over the horizon. And it seemed like Wukong was getting restless at about the same time too.
“Okay I’m getting bored of being tired and sad.” He finally stated, standing up and stretching. “Lets do something nice, we haven’t done something nice since any of this started.”
“What do you have in mind?” Wukong thought for a second before grinning at Pigsy, a proper, happy grin that, after so much sad had just transpired, made his gut flip in and his face feel hot. He rushed over to Pigsy’s media setup and fiddled with things there until soft music began to play.
Wukong shook his head twice and with a puff of golden smoke went back to his preferred taller size, most likely so while Pigsy was still sat on the couch he could look suave as he offered a hand and grinned down at him. “Dance with me?”
And you know, maybe if they hadn’t just gotten back together he would deny how well that actually worked, tease him for being a cheesy dork. But as it was he just accepted.
The rain had made Wukong smell a little different, not by much but… different. And he wasn’t necessarily sure if it was a good change or not, but he felt the same, the soft caramel fur had long since dried and was gentle against his skin, he felt his tail coil its way around his hips and had practically encircled Pigsy in his warmth.
It was sad that things had to go over the way they did, but he supposed if they hadn’t then this wouldn’t feel quite as good. The ache had finally given way, Zhu Baije was quieting down in his head now that things were as they were supposed to be again.
It was, for lack of a better word,
a perfect morning.
And then there was a shake, a crack like a splinter of wood a blinding light-
"Dadsy! Are you alright? I'm gonna KILL those two idiots..."
-and it was gone.

What’s a ship you’re into where you have a “what do you mean that’s not how they met” headcanon
Peachbun!
I know that, in canon, Pigsy and Wukong probably never met before Revenge of the Spider Queen and didn't actually speak until On the Run. But you cannot convince me that, for weeks, Pigsy's Noodles had a very pretty woman visit every so often (Wukong scouting out safe places to leave the future rock baby) and Pigsy formed a crush on her. And then suddenly he had a kid on his doorstep and he didn't notice the woman had suddenly stopped visiting.
It's not until Wukong shapeshifts into his pretty lady form, years later, that Pigsy connects the dots.

Prompt: single Tang taking his son Xiaotian to the market place for groceries where Wukong and Pigsy are shopping at and spot the cute scholar and his son
Wukong and Pigsy decide to begin the courtship process
There is a very cute comic by @jessadamsdraws that inspired some of this, check it out!
There was someone staring at him.
Wukong felt their eyes dig into his side as he stared at the various fruits spread out. Pigsy had assigned him the task of getting fruit for the desserts that the shop out, saying that his knowledge of fruit was better than his. But now he couldn't even focus on picking out the best, since someone was staring at him.
Why were they staring at him? He was in human guise.
Wukong grabbed a bright yellow apple. Okay, maybe it wasn't him. Maybe he was in the way of the fruit? He took a side step and the eyes followed him.
Okay, yeah, it was him.
Wukong took a deep breath and glanced over.
A small child stared up at him, gripping the hand of someone who had to be their father. Dark hair was pushed out of their face with a red ribbon, tied into a cute bow. Their eyes were wide. Wukong let out the deep breath he had been holding. Okay, it was fine. He waved at the kid.
The kid let out a quiet gasp. They leaned closer, still holding their father's hand, and whispered "Are you the Monkey King?"
The apple fell out of Wukong's hand.
They could see him. Through his transformation.
He barely managed a nod. The kid gasped and their eyes somehow became wider. Wukong couldn't help a chuckle. He had to keep an eye on-
"Hey, what are you doing?" Wukong nearly gave a start at his partner's voice, booming next to him. Pigsy looked confused as he held several bags of groceries. "Where's the fruit-" Wukong nodded to his side. "What?" Wukong nodded again and Pigsy raised a brow, glancing around him at the small child, still staring at Wukong like he was the coolest person ever.
(Which he was. Equal to Pigsy.)
"Excuse me?" And the father had noticed. Pigsy gave a squeak and Wukong could understand why. The man, dressed in simple robes, was pretty. "Why are you staring at my child?"
"Baba, Baba, Baba, he's the Monkey King!" Seems the kid couldn't keep it in anymore. They bounced excitedly, staring at Wukong even harder. "He said so!"
"Oh, really?" The scholar asked, raising a brow.
"Eh, my name is Wukong." He knelt so he could be eye to eye with the kid. He tapped his lips, hopefully communicating keep it a secret. The kid nodded. It was settled, he had to keep an eye on this kid. Wukong rose with an easy grin. "So it's close, I guess, Mr-"
The scholar smiled. "Tang. And this is Qi Xiaotian." The kid giggled. "Nice to meet you, Wukong and-" Pigsy was still gaping.
"Pigsy!" Wukong slapped his partner on the back. "This is my partner Pigsy!"
Although, hopefully, maybe he could add one of my partners to that.

Locked in a room + anger born of worry for peach bun?
Pigsy had thought his boyfriend had known better.
The broom closet had a tendency to jam. There was countless times Xiaotian had gotten stuck in there and there had been an whole explanation when Wukong had moved in. So, Wukong getting stuck in the room was a surprise.
And Pigsy, in his concern, forgot what he had learned about his boyfriend.

Valentine’s Week- Day 1, Part 2
Summary: Pigsy is concerned for Sun Wukong. (Peachbun, dark.)
Ever since he had met Sun Wukong, Pigsy had found himself…concerned.
Not with Qi Xiaotian’s safety or anything like that, no. The monkey king had proven that he hated the idea of putting Xiaotian in danger throughout the quest to fetch the Samadhi fire. Yes, he had lied about the rings. Yes, he had lied about his plan.
But Wukong had admitted he had screwed up there. He had thought he was doing what he could with weakened powers and several people breathing down their necks to protect them all. That wasn’t enough for Pigsy’s entire forgiveness.
But Wukong had earned the rest of it through his actions. He had talked with Heaven about helping Xiaojiao free herself from the fire. He had been working to be more honest with Xiaotian about stuff. He had even been responding to invites and coming over more often.
That was when Pigsy began to notice…things.
Wukong preferred peaches over any other food, which made sense, but Pigsy rarely saw him eat those. Instead, there were a lot of peach chips…except those weren’t real. One time, Xiaojiao had startled the monkey and he had squeezed the bag so hard that it had exploded into hairs. Based off of Xiaotian’s face, that was not the first time he had caught his mentor eating hair.
His grins were fake. Pigsy had done research after Xiaotian began to train with Sun Wukong and found that monkeys bared teeth as signs of warning or aggression. Wukong had admitted that he had picked up the habit after spending so much time with humans, but not even those smiles were real.
Occasionally, Wukong had pain. One night, after carrying Xiaotian around on piggyback for a while, Pigsy had seen him rub the back of his shoulder, clearly fighting back a grimace of pain. Whenever someone raised their voice a touch too loud or frowned, Wukong would rub the back of his head. After careful watching, Pigsy realized he seemed to be tracing a spot, as if expecting some kind of band there.
The worst one was when Pigsy fell in love. At Lunar New Year, when the fireworks began, Wukong had loudly gasped “FIREWORKS!” His tone had completely switched into a child-like, gleeful tone that fell like the layers had fallen away, revealing true joy on Wukong’s face. Pigsy’s heart had gone boom even as it hit him that was the first time Wukong seemed to have lost the mask.
All those little details had built up and up.
All signs pointed to the fact that Wukong was unwell. And his isolation at Flower Fruit Mountain, even with the little visits he made, wasn’t helping. So Pigsy had to take things into his own hands.
Which led to now.
He winced at a knee in his gut. “Stop it. You're only making this worse for yourself.” There was an angry muffled growl from the monkey slung over his shoulder, tied with the diamond snare Nezha had been more than happy to provide. Pigsy rolled his eyes and continued to march down to the boat.
Thankfully, Sandy hadn’t questioned Pigsy’s need to borrow the boat too much. By the time anyone had questions, Wukong would be happily settled in his apartment.
Happy and healthy.

Valentine’s Week- Day 1, Part 3
Summary: Wukong needs Pigsy to cook something for him. (Peachbun, fluff.)
"And why would I do this for you?"
Wukong doesn’t even pause, the bastard. "Because you love me."
Pigsy turns to glare at his partner, the words Not enough o n his tongue. Instead, he comes face to face with Wukong’s puppy eyes. They’re not that good compared to Qi Xiaotian’s puppy eyes, but they’re still big and wide and full of pleading, so much that Pigsy breaks with a “Fine."
Wukong brightens with a cheerful “Yay!” He pulls out a card that Pigsy takes and has to squint at. Wukong’s handwriting is messy and, even worse, switches between Mandarin and Middle Chinese as if the memory of these apricot cakes seized him mid-word. There is an awkward little chuckle from above. “Sorry, I got a little excited.” Called it.
“It’s fine.” Pigsy hands back the recipe card. “I’m just gonna need your help for it.” He feels more than sees Wukong grin as he turns to grab what they’ll need. Footsteps scamper away and when he turns back, the ingredients are arranged on the counter.
Pigsy doesn’t pause.
Wukong reads the recipe and Pigsy works. Occasionally Wukong will get stuff ready to pour or sift, his tail happily wagging. Pigsy can’t help his own happy noises at the cute sight even if what they’re doing is totally insane.
When the cakes are placed in the steamer, he has to ask.
“Why couldn’t you make these for DBK yourself?” Pigsy leans against the counter to stare at his partner. His chef senses are niggling at him to clean up, but his curiosity stomps down. He knows Wukong has a weird urge to try and mend bridges between him and his former sworn brother. “I’ve seen you cook. You’re halfway decent.”
“Wow,” Wukong straightens, a real smile tugging on his lips instead one of those stupid fake grins. “Halfway decent. What a compliment.”
“You know what I mean.” Pigsy grabs a towel. The need to be busy has begun to eat at him and he answers it. “Why didn’t you just cook for DBK yourself?”
Wukong shrugs. “Figured that if I made it, he would smash it.” That…sounds reasonable. With the tone of complete relaxation, however, it sounds horrifying at how casual his partner tells it. “At least his wife likes your cooking.”
“...I like your cooking.”
“I like your cooking too!”
Pigsy isn’t sure how to say what he means. Before he can, the steamer beeps and then they’re more concerned with packing up the cakes.
(Pigsy makes a note to make these again.)

Can I get Lego Monkie Kid Sun Wukong x Pigsy with B5, B26 and B88? Please!
Oooooo, new ship! I'm calling it MonkeNoodles or Peachpig unless someone has a better ship name which there probably is. (I am bad with coming up with names.)
B5. “It’s true. I’ve loved you since I got to know you - and even if you don’t feel the same, I’m willing to accept it.” B26. “You’re special to me.” B88. “I’ve tried to forbid myself from falling in love but now I can’t help it.”
Small S2 spoilers
Pigsy trudged towards the outside area of the Dronecopter, careful to not make any noise. For hours, he had been tossing and turning for hours, not getting a wink of sleep. He thought that maybe some fresh air would help.
During his walk, a myriad of yawns would slip out of his lips, followed by eye rubbing. He took a step outside, beaming as the stars and moon glimmered down on him and the ship. He decided to observe it more by turning his head to the left, he held in a gasp to see Wukong leaning against the railing, still in his regular clothes with his chin tilted towards the sky. The king was illuminated by the moonlight which, in Pigsy’s opinion, made him look even more handsome than he already was.
The pig placed a hand over his heart and noticed how fast it was beating along with how his palms started to sweat, his cheeks began heating up. Why did the king have to look so… so… so cute?
He swallowed roughly, this did not help his feelings, feelings that had developed after their relationship had shifted from arguments to a genuine friendship and understanding. Since then, the king would offer to help him out while cooking, wrapping an arm around him when the chef was about to explode with anger, giving him compliments and smiling at him like he was the most important person in the world. While in turn he had let off Wukong, deciding to place faith in him. They worked well together, their banter filling the air. The king made him feel special.
One day, he made the mistake of confessing all this to Tang who merely cackled, finally putting together why the chef blushed and stuttered around the king, the laughter was followed by teasing on how Pigsy was a big old softie for Wukong.
And he was a softie.
He then told Sandy, revealed to be Sha Wujing, who was fully supportive of the situation and commented how Pigsy would be a good fit for his brother.
While he hadn’t told the kids yet, he suspected they knew based on the way they would giggle any time the two were in the same room together.
Pigsy loved being around Wukong and he made an effort to show his romantic interest in subtle ways. He wasn’t planning on doing anything else, all he wanted to do was show Wukong how much he adored him.
Although recently Wukong had taken to avoiding him, piling excuse after excuse on why he couldn’t be near the pig which resulted in Pigsy’s heart shattering into a million pieces. Maybe the king had caught word of his feelings and wasn’t interested? The king could have at least told him, he would have understood.
A “Pigsy?” snapped him out of his thoughts. His mouth agape as he shyly stared at Wukong. Wukong’s cheeks contained a dust of pink. “What are you doing up? It’s like 3 am,” he said and let out a small chuckle, Pigsy didn’t miss the way Wukong’s hand fidgeted and how his feet shuffled away from him.
Pigsy faked a small smile and waved at the king. “He- hey, Wukong! Could say the same about you. I couldn’t sleep.”
“Couldn’t sleep either,” he confessed while scanning the other, his face becoming a darker pink upon seeing the other’s cute undershirt and shorts, Pigsy felt shy under his gaze. “Ummmm… how come you couldn’t sleep?”
“No reason. Just one of those nights, y’know?” He softly punched Wukong in the arm and laughed softly. “What about you?”
“Thinking a lot.”
“Since when do ya think?”
The monkey rolled his eyes. “I think more than you do,” he teased.
“No, you don’t. I’m the smart one, remember?”
“Uh huh. I’ll let you believe that,” he stated. His tail swished from side to side.
“Well it’s true. Now what are ya thinkin’ about?”
The king rubbed the back of his neck. “Nothing. Nothing you have to worry about.”
He narrowed his eyes. “Wukong… I’m your friend. You can tell me anythin’.”
“I know. Don’t worry about it. It’s my own problem.” He sighed, his fingers tapping against the railing.
“Wukong…” He placed a hand on his arm, pulling it back when the king flinched. “What is it?”
“Don’t worry about it,” he insisted, his voice a warning to not push further.
The pig’s fists clenched. “How can I not worry when you’ve been avoidin’ me? Did… did I do somethin’ wrong?”
The king’s eyes widened. “No! No! You didn’t do anything wrong. It’s...”
“It’s what? I get it if you don’t like me back but…” He growled under his breath. “CAN YA AT LEAST BE HONEST WITH ME?”
There was a short pause before Wukong broke it with a “What?”
The way Wukong looked at him, told him he was mistaken, oh no, oh no, he didn’t know but it was too late, so Pigsy took in a puff of air and confessed, “It’s true. I’ve loved you since I got to know you - and even if you don’t feel the same, I’m willin’ to accept it.” Wukong wasn’t moving, wasn’t blinking. “Are ya goin’ to say anythin’ at all?” Nothing. That was just as good as a rejection. “Alright, I’m leavin’. Night, Wukong…”
He turned to leave when he was captured in a fierce hug. “No. Stay,” Wukong whispered against his shoulder. “What did you mean when you said you loved me?”
He snorted in response. “Oh come on, Wukong. You’re not an idiot.”
“How long have you felt this way?”
“Awhile” was the answer.
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Because you clearly don’t feel the same way. You’ve been avoidin’ me like the plague.”
“That wasn’t why.”
“Why then?”
Wukong cupped his cheek. “Truth is… I have feelings for you too.”
“Yea, right.”
“I’m telling the truth. I love you. You’re special to me. Ever since we began hanging out and I thought more of you, the feelings started popping up. I’ve tried to forbid myself from falling in love but now I can’t help it.”
“Wukong…”
“That’s why I avoided you. I didn’t ruin what we have. Guess I should have communicated better, huh?”
He let out another snort. “Yea, you should have.”
“Wujing was pushing me to talk to you but I wasn’t sure. I’m sorry.”
“It’s fine. You really need to improve your communication skills though.”
“Heh. I’m trying.”
A small nod. “I know.”
“Soooo… am I allowed to kiss you?”
“Ye-yea!”
Wukong bent down slightly, pressing his lips against the other’s, a slow and passionate kiss filled with so much love poured into it.
When the others woke up later that morning, the two were sleeping on the couch. Pigsy’s head laid on Wukong’s chest, the king’s arms on the pig’s back while Pigsy’s were drooping on the side.
They held in their squeals while Mei took pictures of them. It made for some adorable moments.

List of Peachpigshipping headcanons
Feel free to send or share with me some of your own!
For some reason, I can rarely see Wukong doing the dishes and Pigsy makes fun of him for it, both out of amusement and annoyance. Examples: “I can’t even convince my boyfriend/husband to do the dishes, what makes you think I can convince him to do [x]?” “Oh my gods you did the dishes, what did you do?” “Wow, you must really love me for once.”
I picture them being that couple that shows each other up, Wukong more than Pigsy because the pig is more easily flustered with public acts of affection. Wukong purposefully does sappy stuff to make him as flustered as possible. Pigsy secretly likes it but will deny it like crazy.
Like most of the fandom, I picture them being on the outs at the beginning but they get really soft around each other when they’re actually a couple. They call the other sweet nicknames since Wukong already has a habit of calling people nicknames in canon.
They give off vibes of a couple that act like they’re better than other couples and get completely smug. They are the best couple and they’ll fight whoever says otherwise.
Wukong insists Pigsy stay in bed with him and will try to convince him in any way possible.
If Pigsy is yelling at Wukong for something in a one-sided argument, Wukong’s reaction is to snark at him and roll his eyes or if Pigsy does something like cup his face during it, the king stares at him with loving eyes and gets lost in those blue orbs which frustrates Pigsy because the king should really be paying attention, he’s also trying not to blush under his gaze.
If they’re both arguing, they can argue for hours since they’re stubborn until they storm off to cool down or the person who’s at fault, if anyone is at fault, apologizes. Or they both realize how stupid they’re being. Once they storm off, they’re tempted to go back to each other which they either do so or hold back and become a little melancholic after that.
Favorite place to kiss besides each other’s lips: For Pigsy, it’s Wukong’s cheek and forehead. For Wukong, it’s Pigsy’s thighs/legs and stomach.
Pigsy likes to comb through the king’s fur, to the monkey, his partner’s hands feel like magic and it takes all his willpower to not fall asleep.
Pigsy constantly makes sure Wukong is eating properly since the king has a habit of eating his own hair along with other things like peaches that Pigsy argues doesn’t count as a full meal.
They have to be touching each other in some way, shape or form. Wukong usually just wraps a tail around Pigsy’s waist if their hands are full or they’re trying to be subtle. I thought about how they wouldn’t do this if Pigsy was cooking, but that’s completely wrong, Wukong would still bother Pigsy. He would plaster himself to Pigsy’s back, despite his partner’s protest. The regulars think it’s cute. “Is that your boyfriend?” “Unfortunately.” “I wish my partner was as affectionate as that.” “No… no, ya don’t.” (Almost forgot to add this one thing. Someone: *gestures to Pigsy who has Wukong’s face buried against his back* What have you got there? Pigsy: *holding a bowl of noodles* Noodles.)
They like to tease and joke with each other, their jabs are always filled with some love behind it.
Wukong is more traditional when it comes to courtship stuff while Pigsy is okay with it and goes with what Wukong wants.
Courtship bracelets:
-Wukong: A circular silver bracelet with a pink heart gem in the middle, it is surrounded by patterns of leaves. engraving on the inside reads “My peach”
-Pigsy: A circular gold bracelet with two gems on it. One is red in an antique cushion shape while the other is orange and circular. It has ovals patterns around it. Engraving on the inside reads “My fellow king (my equal).” I don’t see Pigsy as the type to wear big fancy jewelry, maybe usually just some earrings but he wears the bracelet anyway.
They stay more at Pigsy’s apartment than Wukong’s mountain since it’s a lot of effort for Pigsy to travel back and forth for work even with Wukong’s cloud.
They have moments where they stand there, completely still and Wukong has his arms wrapped around the pig, he rests his chin on top of his head while Pigsy has his face buried in his partner’s chest, and both just breathe in each other’s scent.
Pigsy oinks when he laughs sometimes, he gets embarrassed about it but Wukong thinks it the cutest thing in the world.
The monkeys like Pigsy despite his gruff nature, they really like his cooking and are happy that their king found someone.
Picture Wukong and Pigsy are sitting on the cloud, watching the sunset and Wukong has a tail around Pigsy’s waist while Pigsy clings to Wukong’s sleeves and leans his head on his shoulder (a friend came up with this one!).
When they’re on the couch, Wukong rests his head on his partner’s stomach and will look up with love and adoration present on his face, if Pigsy is checking his phone or reading, he’ll take quick glances at Wukong, only to find the monkey staring at him. “Why are ya starin’?” “You’re gorgeous.” “... Shad-shaddup.”
If Macaque is around, Pigsy sometimes gets jealous because he and the king have history that he feels he’ll never have with Wukong even though Pigsy has history with Wukong that he doesn’t remember *coughs* *coughs*.
I would think that Wukong does have some cooking ability (immortals get bored too, you know) and he’ll cook for Pigsy and the pig adores it, although he will take the time to criticize bits of it while simultaneously loving it.
Wukong absolutely loves when Pigsy rambles on about his family, the way the pig lights up when he rambles makes Wukong’s heart beat wildly against his chest.
In turn, Pigsy loves it when the king goes on about the journey even though he’s heard the stories before. It gets better when the king shares details never mentioned, because it feels like Wukong trusts him enough to share something so important, no matter how small it is and for some reason, it feels familiar to him like he was around for the Journey. *coughs*
“at some point while depowered Pigsy had carried Wukong for miscellaneous 'take care of yourself idiot' reasons, and now nothing makes Wukong flustered quicker than Pigsy princess carrying him. Also there's probably a "my hero~♡" joke in there somewhere” Princess Carry Headcanon from an anon
“Heres another PeachPig headcannon for u soul: that theory/speculation about Wukong shapeshifting himself taller and is in fact still the shortest one here? Well, every so often, if Pigsy's clearly had a rough day, Wukong will just... take on his actual size for cuddling purpouses. Its super embarrassing for wukong bc hes sensitive about his height but Pigsy seems to love both not being the short one and having his partner the size of one of those beeg plushies thats perfect cuddling size. So its whatever” Wukong shapeshifting when Pigsy has a rough day (given by anon + a small fic)

On a round of Tiger’s brain never shuts up
We got another fic idea (I have so many fics I’m working on dhdhdhdh)
You know what’s the best part of the Tang is a reincarnation of Tripitaka theory? The angst
You could apply this angst to Peachtea/Tripsun, Freenoodles and… Jasminetea!
That’s right! Rarepair time!
It’s a Jasmine tea + peachpig fic.
Basic premise:
Sandy/Sha Wujing and Sun Wukong lament over the fact that Tang and Pigsy don’t remember who they used to be and the two won’t tell them because Tang and Pigsy seem happy in their new lives. They get mildly jealous (Sun Wukong more than Sandy) of how those two always seem like they’re flirting with each other and they’re not, they’re really not.
(More under the cut)
Sandy has insecurities about his relationship with Tripitaka/Tang because while he was the calm and rational one out of the disciples (although he did become rage-filled after Zhu Bajie’s death), he doesn’t think he was really special or noteworthy in Tripitaka’s eyes compared to Bajie and Sun Wukong. He believes Tripitaka didn’t think that much of him and merely tolerated his presence since he had to except the monk really respected and loved him for his calm nature and wisdom. He also believes that transferred to Tripitaka’s new life as Tang since Tang makes snarky comments about rather or not Sandy is there with the group and it hurts that even now the person he’s in love with just tolerates him instead of actually caring about him but the scholar does care about him a lot. Another reason he believes this is Tang always seems more enthusiastic to explain stuff about Monkey King and Bajie more than Sha Wujing even though that isn’t true and Tang applies that same enthusiasm towards stories with Wujing in them, although he won’t admit it but deep down his favorites stories to tell are ones with Wujing in it. Before Sandy reveals himself, there’s most likely a point where Tang is about to tell a story about him and he knows what Tang thinks of him so he leaves because he doesn’t want to be hit the face about how much the scholar doesn’t care about him then misses how the scholar’s eyes sparkle as he recalls specific points of the demon’s story.
Wukong feels guilty that he wasn’t able to properly protect either of them especially Bajie and how he isn’t really surprised that the pig hates him in this life even though it hurts. He does think Bajie kinda resented him for certain things. He kinda stays more by Sandy or MK’s side when he’s with the group but watches Pigsy from afar. He also goes out of his way to protect Pigsy if he’s in the area when a demon attacks, he doesn’t actively tell him this but the pig can tell there’s something up and insists he can protect himself. Pigsy does make an effort to talk to the king and give him noodles but Wukong kinda flinches when he’s near because he doesn’t believe he has the right to see or be near the pig that much. Although the pig stills goes forward with getting to know the king and they do manage to have a few conversations where Sun Wukong doesn’t look like he wants to run away. Pigsy does things like making sure the king eats properly, making sure he’s okay and getting good quality social interaction with someone.
Sandy and Wukong frequently talk about if they should tell them but they end up agreeing not to. They stick together and bond over various things, returning to their normal brotherly bond.
Tang and Pigsy are really unaware of who they were before and how the other two are having an internal battle, instead they’re too busy gushing to each other about their respective crushes. They also get jealous of their past lives because it’s clear to them that when they can actually get Sandy and Wukong to open up about Tripitaka and Bajie that the two had a high opinion of their respective loves that makes it clear there were feelings.
Tang is pretty upset by it because how can he compete with the great monk? He does try to impress Sandy (and Wukong to a surprisingly lesser extent) by recalling everything he can about the journey hoping that Sandy will be impressed by his knowledge. He also gets Sandy to tell him bits about the Journey that were never included to learn more about him. Another thing he does is get Sandy to teach him how to make tea like he does so he can add it onto his list of “Why I’m a great candidate as a future potential partner.”
Pigsy is also upset by it but understands that the king has been around a long time and has seen so many amazing things and been around so many amazing people that a simple chef doesn’t make it onto his list for partners and that they’re acquaintances at best so he never had a chance especially since he likes Zhu Bajie and he’s aware the two had an amazing bond. He does try to still do stuff for the king and pretends he’s content with just being near him.
I’ll write this fic down eventually-

Pigsy: gestures to the pile of plates I’m not askin’ for the world here, babe.
Sun Wukong: snorts Well yea, it would be weird to ask for yourself.
Pigsy: blushes What?
SWK: You heard me
