Just saw the FNAF movie, and I can already see myself talking about it to new, younger kids in the future like, yeah, that came out when I was 16, it was so long ago 😂 It’s so fascinating and cool and borderline fever-dream-ish to see it on a theatre screen when you’ve known it as games and art your whole life— especially with the visual references and the sound design. I can see this becoming nostalgic reaaally quick— and with so many people cosplaying at the theaters as well, maybe including myself? I mean, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of sudden jumpscares, as that is what the games use as their mane scare tactic. Also the random change of lore a tad? I’ll uhhhh. Vibe with it.

It was crazy to see everyone absolutely going hard XD I went low key, but I still got recognized a few times, it was pretty awesome! It was so cool to see everyone excited and coming together over a shared interest. It’s like going to a football game and finding someone wearing the same jersey as your own, I suppose! I’ve never been super hardcore in the fandom, but seeing the community in person and the excitement and creativity and the dedication— it’s something I respect. Y’all go and be awesome, guys.

Micheal getting yeeted and having a short-lived toss-across-a-table throw-down match with Peepaw Willy was 100% something I did not expect, but 100% something I needed to see, regardless if I knew it or not 😂 also that design and literally every small detail. I can tell you that me and my friend were death gripping each other and they were digging their nails into my arm in excitement, my gosh XD It was a super great experience, even if I’m not one for horror. I’m glad I went!

-When he's not on a job, Setzer's a poker attraction for the inn in Jidoor. They don't ask that he's there every night, so he's able to slip away for "work" and not be questioned. He gets free drinks on Fridays, nice place. They even look the other way when he definitely sets someone he doesn't like up to be cocky with continuous wins and then snatches up all their money by taking it more seriously (and using some maybe magic luck)

-Yknow how Locke and Setzer are already sorta set as rivals in canon by most people? That but they haven't even met yet because Locke thinks the idea of a "gentleman thief" is stupid because you're telling the person you're stealing you're going to rob them when thieves should be Not making a show of it. Meanwhile Setzer just thinks the thrill of it's the best part

-Setzer knows he has magic but he doesn't know Why, he's just practiced the basics he has (Float, Vanish, Thunder/Thundara, Sleep) for the sake of his work (he hates using Vanish though it makes it no fun)

My bachelor's is in literature, and I don't regret it at all I have taken so much from it but the one thing that really stays with me is that without fail I'd have at least one course with the Lliad and the Odyssey. The Iliad more frequently. I have read the Iliad at least five times and by the third time it was so funny to me I couldn't stop laughing.

I just imagine Hector running for his life, Achilles chasing him, I mean can you imagine how irritating it is to have to chase this guy around a city so many times and he's just out of your reach meanwhile the city is watching this from up on the wall, and they go 'Hector come back inside', and he's like No I gotta do this but he's too scared so he just keeps running and they go around and around like fricken tom and Jerry.

I have tried to explain this to people in my life and they just don't get it, But the imagery just dawned on me on that third reading and I was cracking up for DAYS. I would absolutely kill him when I caught him for that stunt, and that made it even funnier to me bc I was with Achilles on that, I'd be so angry once I caught up to you.

Then Achilles takes Hectors body and drags it around the city which made me laugh harder because I'm thinking dude you made me chase you around this city so many times that is exactly what someone who had to chase a guy all day long would do.
