Wow! What a great #sunsetmoonriseride last night! About 50 folks met me at Sabin Hydro Park and we had a chill 3 1/2 mile ride to Thomas Cully Park, one of my fave spots to watch the sun set and moon rise. Last night’s sky was a beat. I hope to do more #sunsetmoonriseride through the summer into early fall, as long as conditions are good. Keep an eye on the @pedalpaloozapdx and @shift2bikes calendars. I’ll also post it here. Pedalpalooza is now! Today @ejpevents and I led about 1,200 cyclists through the streets of Portland for the kickoff ride. We started at The Fields Park in NW and wound our way to Elizabeth Caruthers Park In SW. Over the six mile course we managed to avoid most of the worst of Timbers game shenanigans and Starlight Parade preliminaries. Looks like most folks enjoyed themselves. Twenty-nine more days to go!🤗🚲
