“My moon”: in relation to the Annabel Lee poem (‘for the moon never beams/Without bringing me dreams/Of the wonderful Annabel Lee’) and also there’s smth so flavorful of the character with a color palette more akin to the Sun (long shiny blonde hair, warm colored eyes, seemingly more outwardly personality, etc) being called the moon like I loveee contrasting design choices‼️‼️

“Angel”: Also a reference to the poem (but like, worse because it was the angels that separated em) and can be easily pulled from Annabel’s name

“Petal”: Or some other variation of a flower based nickname because imma sad, sad bisexual who loves ✨flower motifs✨ just a bit too much

Anything in Dutch: This can be like common ones like “liefje” (darling) or the previous entries but in Dutch idk go crazy go stupid

“Locket”: An unconventional pick pulled from Annabel’s last name Whitlock + lockets containing pieces of hair from your other half being T H E romantic gesture of the century back then, so, like. Idk. The Pale Elf

3D print sculpted by Bulkamancer, printed in Siraya Tech grey UV Resin on my Elegoo Mars 2, and hand-painted by me! I cannot be more pleased with how he turned out 🥰

Had to share all these gorgeous details, like the TEXTURES on this models are just gorgeous! All that filigree and bead detailing is raised which made painting it much easier, but still very tedious (so worth the results though). This was my first time painting a face bigger than tabletop mini scale, and boy was I intimidated. Had some friends point me to ball-jointed doll makers and learned about detailing faces with chalk pastels, so I used pastels to give his cheeks some colour, blush the tips of his ears, and make the shadows under his eyes. I could go back and add more colour/texture to his hair but I think its best if I leave it, lest I play with it too much and end up ruining things. I have to keep reminding myself that just cause I can see things in macro lens photos, doesn't mean I'm actually able to go correct those things 😅

Regardless, I'm so so happy with how he turned out, and its crazy that I can look at this and go "me!!! I PAINTED THAT!! ME!!!", and now I have a stunning model of everyones favourite lil rat bastard (affectionate) vampire mans💕

Do you consider yourself a nerd? A geek? What’s the difference? I don’t even know LOL. But I do know that 15 years ago today - Sept. 24, 2007 - a series debuted on CBS that’s still a favorite to this day.

I’m referring to The Big Bang Theory! The old saying “word to the nerd” rings true with this series centered around four scientists balancing their professional and social lives. Add some girls - one from the first episode - and 12 seasons later, you’ve got quite the plot device.

Kenleigh has broken out her DVDs of the entire series and is binge watching it from start to finish to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the award-winning sitcom. She’s even got her Bazinga shirt and Moon Pie snacks (both in tribute to Sheldon, the former being his iconic phrase and the latter being his nickname given to him by his beloved grandmother), plus her plaid pants to match her shirt (another shoutout to Sheldon, arguably the most popular character of the series). :D

Were you a fan of the series? I didn’t watch it when it first came out, but I was introduced to it when it was in season three or four, and I quickly became hooked. I’m a nerd, and I regret nothing! After all, nerds rule the world! :D

Hey Why does Gibbous Remy like to pay with pennies? /gen

The Doylist explanation to this is that I simply thought it was a funny bit for Remy to do in Gibbous chapter 1 and I decided to bring it back as a running gag for the latest chapter.

The Watsonian explanation is several things. For one, I can imagine Remy being terrible at keeping up with inflation and has genuinely forgotten things like coke no longer costing 5 cents a can. He tends to keep coinage on him because for centuries physical monetary was the norm. In fact, I can imagine him having a ridiculous amount of coins that he could take to a coin machine/bank to exchange it for cash/credit but he's stubborn about it.

Regarding the pennies bit, he has only pulled it on people he has a friendly rapport with just because he likes causing problems on purpose he just likes seeing their reactions of horror. Similarly, he has tipped with $2 dollar bills or $1 coins which are indeed legal tender, but it's not necessarily "convenient" legal tender.
