Ruby’s Semblance Summed Up in Simpler terms
Ruby can basically turn herself and anyone she takes with her into a consistency similar to air in order to travel at super fast speeds and even temporarily divide herself to an extent but still remain solid enough to get hit or hit someone else. Ergo, the mass of herself and whoever she’s carrying doesn’t matter because they literally become a gust of wind making all of them light as a feather and really fast.... and this could potentially be very powerful with enough momentum which would explain how she was able to smash through a door.

On Second Thought
It would make more sense, considering Ruby’s color theme and last name, for her semblance to break down herself and anyone she carries into a cloud of petals in order to move as fast as the wind, not just turning her body into an air-like consistency like I originally thought. Or maybe it’s both: she can break down her own body to basically become a cloud of air or petals (or she can make herself look like a cloud of petals using her semblance) but either way, it gives her the ability to move just as fast as wind. Essentially, she can make herself and others break down into smaller pieces with this semblance to move fast, turning her mass into basically several different pieces, hence her original mass not mattering enough to get in the way of her speed. Ergo, she can turn into a literal gust of wind using her semblance... potentially even a giant cloud of petals if she works on it enough. She might just be able to scatter herself enough to cover a larger area and make it harder for her to be hit though I’d imagine the more she divides herself in this state, the harder it is for her to maintain her semblance. Basically, if she keeps herself together, she can move fast but if she scatters herself, she becomes harder or maybe impossible to hit depending on the extent but to scatter herself to cover a wider area can mean A. her aura depletes faster, B. it’s very difficult for her to do or C. it’s harder for her to move herself between two points (slows her down basically) and therefore if someone aims close to the area where she originally scattered, they can hit her if they wait for her to reform. Or she reforms in a random place and people can predict where she reforms by watching were the ‘petals’ start to return to.
