sometimes when I'm alone, i take the pearl from where it lives in my pocket and try to remember the boy with the bread, the strong arms that warded off nightmares on the train, the kisses in the arena. to make myself put a name on the thing i've lost. but what's the use. It's gone. he's gone. whatever existed between us it's gone.

You sound like a Harry Potter fan. Are you a Harry Potter fan? Because you're using the same justification those morons use to keep it alive.
Look, I'm autistic af and PM's games were my hyperfixation, so I get not wanting to let go. And PM isn't half as bad as JKR, just to clarify that. But yeah, you're gonna look like you're ignoring all the problems PM has if you stay in the fandom.
Companies are starting to weaponize fandom and turn it into a product because it's so good at perpetuating a product almost more than the product itself. Don't be part of the problem, dude.
I'm not, I literally never touched a HP book or movie ever in my life, but alright
Guess someone didn't read the tags, because in my case, I let go the fandom and I'm doing perfectly fine, thanks for the concern - I'm just taking the defense of those people who decided to stay despite what happened, these guys don't just ignore the problem, some people just really can't let go or just don't want to let go, even if they took distance with the fandom and stopped to play/pay for the games, they're still very interested in the universe and the characters.
My post is not about "please stay in the fandom and ignore what is happening", my post is about "please don't bully people who decides to stay in", and I invite you to read the reblogs of said post to see people sharing their experience of being insulted or threatened to death for enjoying something PM related.
Yes, what Kim did was bad. I don't ignore it and I invite everyone to go support Vellmori and all the people who have been victim of what the company did. And you can have criticism towards them and your own opinions, that's alright.
Just be smart. Don't spread hate. Dead threats are serious. You can't just insult or be rude to people for having a different opinion than yours.
I feel like a lot of people are misunderstanding my point and think that I'm saying that people should stay in the fandom or ignore the problem, I'm not saying that they should do that at all god - of course the best thing to do is to let go, but NOT 👏 EVERYONE 👏 CAN 👏 OR WANT 👏 TO 👏 LET 👏 GO
If you managed to let go THAT'S COOL FOR YOU but let those who can't/don't want ALONE, judge them as much as you want ok but you don't have to spit it straight out in their faces. Dammit.

I am an avid gamer. I play games 90% of the time I'm home. Yes, I'm a girl. I hate the stereotype of girls only playing games like Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Pokemon, etc. I've played all across the spectrum. I've played Halo 1-5, Call of Duty (my fav is Black Ops and MW2), Mario (many different ones), Ooblets, Fable 3, Bejeweled (Twist is fav on DS), Fallout (3, 4, and New Vagas), Dark Souls, Legend of Zelda (not all but different ones), Sea of Thieves, Thief, and a whole bunch more. I'm not shy to say I've played "girly" games. But I've also played "boy" games. Gender is not something you should base your views on when someone says "I'm a gamer". People like different things. So, don't ever associate a person's looks and personality with the games they play. It's annoying and rude. A girl dressed in frilly outfits could be the best player at Dark Souls. And the bulky gym bro could enjoy playing My Time at Portia. So, NEVER assume. That's all I have to say.
I hope you all have a great day and please, listen to this information. Don't judge a book by its cover. You never know what people are into. Love you all. 😘😊🫂❤️

It's been a couple of days of being really disenchanted about the compulsory cis-heteronormativity. Like yikes. Sometimes its just like getting slapped with a live fish after forgetting the smell of fish.

So, let's talk about the MCU.
Here's the thing.
You're not supposed to like all of it.
You ever read the comics? I do. I read Spider-Man (*all* Spider-Men, Miles, Gwen, Hobie, Peter (the current run is ugh but that's not the point of this), and Miguel), She-Hulk, Deadpool, Daredevil (especially Brubaker's run...but I've gushed about him on other posts), and Hawkeye.
I don't read The Hulk, X-Men, The Avengers, or Fantastic Four. I've tried with all of them, but I really can't get into any of them.
That doesn't mean they're bad, I'm just not who those stories are written for. And that's fine. I don't get up in arms that those stories aren't written for me. There's a whole wide range of comic enjoyers out there, and they probably enjoy FF and can't get into Daredevil. And that's fine.
The same goes for movie enjoyers. There's a whole range of them out of there and they all like different things. Some of them are really into Iron Man, others may enjoy Captain Marvel. And that's OK.
You don't have to like everything. Not everything is made for you. Some of it is made for other people.
The world is filled with 8 billion other people. If they all liked the same things it would be an incredibly boring world.
