The first time Selina saw tiny Dick Grayson as Robin her first initial thought was "Oh a new kitten," come to find out her new kitten can freaking fly and is actually Batman's batling.
She tries to corner him once or twice, just to make sure he's okay being Batman's sidekick and baby Dick is just like "???".
Bruce starts to realize what's up so whenever he needs to distract Catwoman, he just sends Robin to charm and disarm. Selina can't plan a heist if she's busy wondering about whether or not Batman's feeding him enough.
Dick eventually catches on and is just like "guess I have a mom now too." Does he sometime have to foil her plans? Yes but technically all kids do that. Does he mediate when Bat and Cat don't wanna talk to each other? Yes but so do children of divorce.
Selina's conflicted because she really likes the kid but she's got no idea who he is. Until, she's undercover at a Wayne Gala (gotta see what Brucie has that can go) and sees this tiny kid with a scruff of dark hair and a blinding smile running around followed by his exasperated father trying to reign him in and she has an "oh shit" moment.
Bruce isn't exactly sure she knows. Well obviously he knows that Selina Kyle is Catwoman and Dick knows because there's no keeping anything from his son. But "entrepreneur" Selina Kyle is suddenly not only interested in working with WE but also interest in his son's school play.
Dick is absolutely delighted. He begged Bruce to bring her to said play and when she shows up he's all smiles. Selina is thrilled, the teachers are confused because they didn't know he had a mother. It doesn't help that from afar he looks like the perfect combination of Selina and Bruce.
Selina babysat at the manor a few times and when Bruce returns to nothing stolen, he agrees to but her down as an emergency contact for Dick's school.
The only thing she worries about is keeping him away from his aunts. Mostly because one actively drugs his dad with flowers and the other's dating the Joker and if she's his aunt there's no way the clown would be his uncle. Dick understands but is confused because it seems to him that his aunts should just date each other. Selina feels vindicated.

Prompt : The Mean Girls of Wayne Enterprises
Hear me out…. Mean Girls but make it DCxDP.
The public personas that the bats present, modeled after “Brucie” Wayne are the perfect templates for Mean Girls shenanigans.
Imagine : Our favourite ghost boy has decided to venture out into the world after making sure that Amity would be safe and secure (perks of being the recently crowned King). Danny knows he’d never pass the physical tests to be an astronaut but that doesn’t mean he can’t at least achieve part of his space dream. He’d done his research, very thoroughly at that, and overall it was Wayne Enterprises that came out on top. Their aerospace department was miles ahead of the competition - presumably something to do with Bruce Wayne literally being the one funding the Justice League (and if rumour is to be believed, the OG sugar daddy for a certain Bat).
Disregarding Danny’s personal feelings about the JL, the chance to create technology that will be used in SPACE, for space exploration and understanding was too good to pass up.
Just the thought alone filled him with a sense of contentment. Thankyou space obsession.
Which is what had lead to the current situation - an internship at Wayne Enterprises itself. How he landed it, he has no clue - sure, he’s got some smarts (much more than he’ll give himself credit for) but his grades had suffered from his years of literally saving the city (and by extension, the world). Perhaps it was fate? Or more likely, a meddling time god…
Danny wasn’t complaining though.
Only three hours in to the position and he was barely containing his excitement - literally, the fulfillment of his secondary obsession, regardless of how second hand it might be, created such a buzz in his core. He was having to consciously stop his more ghostly attributes from shining through - not even metaphorically shining, damn you LED freckles (yes we’re using the concept of Danny’s ghost from reflecting his love of space - constellation freckles and all)
Now though, he had been released to break in the cafeteria. There was a panicked moment of ‘oh shit, where do I sit?’ But thankfully, his (half) life was saved by one of his new coworkers calling him over with a friendly wave.
“Hey, Daniel, right?”
“I go by Danny but yeah, thanks for the save there” a awkward laugh at his own words, “didn’t expect it to feel like high school all over again”
There’s polite laughter amongst the table and the conversation flows over to casual small talk. At least, it does until out of nowhere, all eyes jump to the doors.
Enter : The Plastics.
Richard Grayson - the dumbest guy you’ll ever meet.
“Once, he asked me why aster isn’t the opposite of disaster”
Timothy Drake - knows everything about everyone.
“That’s why his eyebags are so big - they’re full of secrets”
And the queen bee, Damian Wayne.
“Once he called me an uncultured swine… it was awesome”
(I don’t know what’s better - Damian aged up to match Danny or tiny Damian being Regina)
What follows is a comedic story: Danny meeting the three, them assuming he’s going to be out of touch being from the Midwest (he is but only in the sense that his version of normal is Fenton dumbfuckery) , him eventually getting past their public personas by just not giving a shit for their drama - he grew up with the QUEEN of mean girls, the Wayne boys have nothing on Paulina Sanchez.
Just, Mean girls Waynes… that’s it - that’s the post.

<- A/B/O Anon
HI- *coughs* well, they aren’t exactly headcanons, just ideas I have that I wanna chat about.
I’m on a big Omega!Bruce kick so here they are. (these can or can’t be connected but I do love the idea of them being connected)
1. Brucie Wayne is a known Omega, one that flits from date to date. The thing is, Batman is known as an omega too. This time he’s the embodiment of an Omegan Mom protecting their nest Territory from all threats. Like Omegas used to do in the Olden Times™️, feral behavior and scenting is common >:3
2. A/B/O Dynamics don’t actually exist outside Gotham. Sure, some Gothamites have moved out so A/B/O is known, but isn’t seen outside Gothamites.
So when Dick Grayson came to Gotham he was very confused and didn’t really understand what was going on.
When Bruce eventually scoops him up and brings him home, Dick is even more confused. Atleast in Juvie the A/B/O behaviors were stifled except for posturing, but now outside of Juvie? In the home of an Omega? He’s gonna get the full brunt of Bruce both fussing over him and trying his best to not cross the line of Bruce being his Pack Guardian and not Pack Omega. (Either way, for Dick it’s very much smothering)
It doesn’t click for Bruce or Alfred until Bruce comes sulking to Alfred about his pup being broken and not even accepting being scented! Doesn’t Dick want to feel safe??? No one’s going to touch Dick if he’s smothered in Wayne Scent!!! (Maybe eventually Dick gets startled when he starts to instinctively responding as a pup would/is able to smell scents/feel pack bonds)
3. When Jason gets tossed into the Lazarus pit, it actually repairs his pack bonds. Sure, it’s not perfect, Jason can’t actually reach out through the bonds to respond- but he can feel his Pack’s love, not to mention their desperation to get him back as soon as they realize Jay’s bonds are back. (Talia, meanwhile, is still trying to convince Jay that Bruce doesn’t love him and how he replaced him, but that doesn’t quite work as Jason can feel his Pack’s love- not to mention the absolute adoration coming from the newest, weakest, and youngest link in the pack)
4. And finally four- One of the Robins vanish from the Teen Titans for quite a bit- and when they come back, they’re questioned on where they went. Robin sighs and just says Batman was being broody again, and the Teen Titans just think that Batman was brooding.
In actuality, the Robin had to deal with Bruce being broody in the chicken sense. AKA, “You Are My Child And I Will Keep You In My Nest And Focus Entirely On You And Your Well-being. ..What do you mean taking care of myself? I have to take care of my PUP!”
I absolutely adore all of this. Love the idea of it being a Gotham thing because Gotham is just Like That. Like there's so many curses and magic and who knows how many chemicals that they're like, still human but also just built different.
Gosh, if heats are a thing I like to think they're more platonic. Just, fussing over pack members and being the Broodiest Thing Ever with every family member and will get Upset if one tries to leave the Nest where they are Safe and can be Taken Care Of.
Pfft, the poor Justice League are not prepared for Batman to get broody on a mission and force them all to take care of themselves with no context. They're not his pack, but well, they have fought together and they're sort-of friends, depending on the timeline.
Poor Damian is going to get smothered, Bruce is going to get Very broody the moment Jason returns, and with Another Pup. Tim & Dick get yoinked back from the Titans Tower to be smothered and snuggled and absolutely covered in the family's scent.
Absolutely love the idea of them learning how to be a pup and pack together and am vibrating in utter glee at all of this.

So I know there's a post out there about Bruce only wearing boring black suits to the Met Gala and read a really nice take on it where he does it so his kids can have that bonding of making fun of their dad...BUT IMAGINE! When he first takes in Dick, he wants to cheer him up somehow, and the Met Gala is coming up and Dick is going to be staying at the manor.
Bruce, having a moment of clarity from his emotionally stunted potato self, decides to ask Dick if he wants to help come up with an outfit that fits the theme in an attempt for a bonding experience. And this is Dick Grayson, who thought going out every night in scaly undies and pixie boots looking like a traffic light to fight crime was a great idea. The outfit, while somehow still fitting the theme, is flamboyant to the extreme and more than a little ridiculous. Bruce sends the design to his personal tailor anyway, asking him to make it as closely as possible.
And as Dick and Alfred watch the Met Gala red carpet they hear the reactions before the camera swivels to Bruce in all his glory. The press all want to know why Bruce decided not to go with his usual black suit, is there some sort of stance or statement he wanted to make with this outfit? Brucie Wayne looks at the reporters and gives his most perfect ditzy airhead smile. "My ward designed my outfit tonight, doesn't it look amazing?" he asks the crowd, posing and twirling for the cameras.
He sounds like any parent showing off their child's art work. It's light and flowy and allows for easy movement, and absolutely eyewatering with the amount of shiny fabric and neon colors splashed onto it. Somehow, despite how ridiculous the outfit itself looks, Brucie makes it work with sheer charisma, confidence, and parental pride. His red carpet photos go viral, but Bruce could care less. He returns to the manor with Dick rushing out to greet him and chatters about how he should help with next year's outfit too. And Bruce agrees, starting a yearly tradition of his children designing him an outfit for the Met Gala every year.
As Dick grows older, and he and Bruce start fighting more and more, Dick still designs an outfit every year, though perhaps making the designs sillier and/or uglier every year as a way to get back at Bruce. But Bruce still wears almost the exact design that Dick drew, including the outfit he wore to the Met Gala that shall not be named with how traumatized the public were to see Brucie wearing....whatever monstrosity of an outfit his child had designed, somehow still staying on theme despite also making people want to bleach their eyeballs.
The year Dick leaves the house, he doesn't design Bruce an outfit. That year's Met Gala, Bruce returned to his boring black suits and headlines exclaiming the fallout between the billionaire and his ward begin circulating almost immediately. And then Bruce goes on patrol one night, only to find a scrappy young boy trying to steal the tires of the batmobile. And after taking him in, asks if he would like to help design his outfit for the upcoming Met Gala.
At first, Jason is totally against it, thinking the whole thing is absolutely ridiculous. But as the gala creeps closer and closer, Bruce notices more and more crumpled outfit designs in the trash. Eventually, Jason decides to get Dick's opinion on the final draft, and though still not on good terms with Bruce, Dick still wishes to participate in this yearly tradition. Through the creation of the final design, the two begin to bond, and that's year's Met Gala had two boys in the manor watching Brucie step onto the red carpet and proudly declare that both of the boys he'd taken in had helped design it.
The year Jason died, Bruce started refusing to attend the Met Gala. Every year, Dick still leaves a design on Bruce's desk to tell him that he's not alone. And then Tim Drake forces his way into their lives. Even after Tim becomes Robin, Bruce still refuses to attend the Met Gala, and doesn't mention the tradition to Tim. But then Dick wants to bond with Tim, and asks him if he'd like to help him with something. In the end, it's Tim awkwardly shuffling into Bruce's office asking him if he'd be willing to look at their design. Bruce takes it and just stares at it.
The design isn't the same as when Jason was around. Where Jason's designs were rough and bold, more similar to edgy street fashion than to formal wear, Tim's are geometric and coldly elegant, with sharp angles and complicated pleats and folds. Jason liked adding bits of his more favored books into his designs, like hints of regency era clothing in his design after reading Pride and Prejudice. Tim on the other hand adds his technologic flair to every straight edge formed line of his design. LED cloth and 3D printing, wires and circuitry that would make something happen if Bruce touched a sensor on his cuff. And of course, Bruce can spot where the design was influenced by Dick's style. Dick's sense of fashion has always been anything but subtle, after all.
And finally, Bruce lets go. He will always love and miss Jason, and no one will ever replace him, but there's a young boy who he can help more right now, and he's been horribly recalcitrant towards him. That year, Brucie steps onto to red carpet with his new outfit, face smiling as always with just a hint of melancholy. He puts on a light show on his clothing that goes viral and the only thing pictured on his face afterwards is his classic airheaded expression mixed with pride towards his boys.
Years go by, and the tradition continues. Jason comes back and despite their issues with each other, Jason still helps contribute to the outfit every year, whether out of nostalgia or to make sure Tim doesn't has as much control over the design is a bit difficult to decipher. As more time goes by it seems to be definitely more the former than the latter.
As more people join Bruce in his mission, it becomes a bonding moment for his children to get together every year to plan something better than the last. People online begin playing a game where you guess which part of the outfit was designed by which Wayne child.
Steph loves adding even more dramatic flair and crazy ideas reminiscent of Lady Gaga's own Met Gala outfits. Bruce was pretty sure if she had sole control, he'd be walking out in nothing but purple waffles and glitter if it could also still fit the theme, which Steph is incredibly strict on following. Cass loves adding oversized components, finding it funny when Bruce, an above average tall and broad man, looks like he's drowning in his own clothing. She also likes adding lace, silk, and velvet, loving the appearance and texture of the textiles.
Damian is brought into the tradition only after Bruce "dies" aka lost in time. Dick is the one who attends the Met Gala that year, proudly showing off his brother's work. The design is solely Damian's, the rest of the family being scattered after Bruce's "death". The outfit looks the closest to regular formal wear than any of the other previous designs had been, Damian still being unsure of his place and unwilling to rock the boat.
As he gets more comfortable, and when Bruce returns, he leans towards natural materials like 100% cotton, linen, and cashmere. He prefers tighter fitting designs unlike Cass, and works in vegan leather when he can. When he found out about weapon jewelry, he also incorporated that into his designs, feeling that his father should never be left undefended no matter the circumstances.
The rest of his siblings also jumped into the previously unventured area of design, since Bruce usually just grabbed some of his regular accessories. They ranged from incredibly useful to absolutely impractical. Knives hidden in shoes, poison/antidote rings and necklaces, wristwatches that could shoot a sedative dart, grappling hook bangles, earrings and ear cuffs that could function as communicators or hold other useful technology/tools.
There was even one special occasion where his earrings held artful shards of kryptonite after superman annoyed the batfam a little too much (or they wanted Superman to stay away from their dad for other reasons ;) up to you). Bruce struggled to hide his laughter/exasperation as he spotted Clark amongst the reporters on the red carpet. Clark immediately paled at the sight of the glowing green rocks hanging from Bruce's ears, and backed away as swiftly as he could.
They also never talked about the incident where the kids had implanted a taser within the fabric of his shirt that would be activated by the press of a sensor on his collar. No one had expected Vicki Vale to be determined enough for a scoop to grab Bruce's collar and activate the taser. Bruce barely remembers awkwardly telling the rest of the press that he was kidnapped so often that things like this were necessary just in case. Of course, the incident went viral, and Bruce was just glad Vicki didn't sue after he paid off her medical bills.
When Duke joined the family, they were already mid planning, so Duke didn't really expect to be included. But Steph dragged him over to the design studio, which had been created out of one of the many empty rooms of the manor and of which Bruce was strictly forbidden from entering to keep the designs a secret until the final draft was to be sent to the tailors. The room looked like an explosion of paper and pencils and markers, fabric swatches and random bits of technology here and there. Duke was pretty sure there was a prototype of feathery wings in the corner, and wouldn't have been surprised if they could actually move through a remote controller or something, he'd grown up watching Brucie's red carpet looks after all, and they were always incredible.
The other batkids were there and asked him what they thought and if he wanted to add anything. Duke was a bit weirded out by the nearly manic expressions (even if it didn't look it at first glance since some of them were really good at poker faces) all of them had, but he took a look, and jokingly asked if they could incorporate bats or robins or something. The collective cackles of glee and crows of "absolutely" made Duke startle, but immediately after, he joined along in the laughter, and dived into the design process.
That year, the largest living room is occupied with all of the children Bruce had taken in, and of course Alfred as well. There's as much popcorn being eaten as popcorn being thrown at fellow siblings, along with putting up tweets asking their followers what they thought they made Bruce this year. When Bruce steps out, they begin live tweeting, asking if anyone could guess who designed what, promising to tell them the answer after the event, as well as explaining how bits of the outfit fit the theme (even if it didn't, and the kids just wanted to make Bruce wear something). The well known look of pride on Brucie's face as he strut his stuff down the red carpet never got old, not to Bruce, not to the press or the public, and certainly not to his children, who practically glow at seeing his expression. And Duke looks around, feeling the same warmth in his chest that he could see the rest feeling watching Bruce brag about his outfit designed by his children to a nearby reporter, a bit more comfortable and welcomed into this large and crazy family that he's now a part of.

the first gala
Jason was uncomfortable. His skin chafed against his stupid silk suit, his dumb tie was strangling him, and his shoes pinched his heels with every step. Worst of all- he was staring down at a crowd of Gotham's wealthiest- decked out in all their resplendent jewelry and finest clothes. It made him vaguely nauseous.
Bruce patted him on the shoulder, fingers clasping firmly for just a moment before swanning down the stairs, smiling broadly at his adoring army of socialites. It was a sickening sight. Just an hour prior, Bruce had sat with him, tied his tie, and told him what to expect. That he wouldn't be the same person at the Gala that he was when they read together. It made Jason's chest clench.
He carefully followed down the stairs, eyes locked firmly ahead, jaw clenched. Dick warned him that the snooty bastards would not be kind, that they wouldn't accept him. They hadn't accepted Dick at first, but his stupid smile and stupid charm eventually won the hearts of most of the stupid crowd. Jason exhaled deeply through his nose, he needed to stay calm.
Once he reached the main floor, his eyes strayed from their laser focus to find Bruce Brucie. The billionaire was playing his part remarkably well, an arm wrapped around a stunning blonde woman- the other gesturing with a half-empty champagne glass. The sight of Bruce downing the rest made Jason's stomach roll.
A withered hand gripped his shoulder and made him freeze in place. He followed the hand up and found the hooded eyes of one of the many rich old ladies that had popped up on Dick's PowerPoint. He distantly remembered a giant red circle and big black letters that said AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
"And what dumpster did Wayne pull you from, boy," a little bit of saliva passed her red painted lips, splattering onto Jason's face.
Jason felt a dark blush bloom across his face, turning his tan skin the color of a tomato. He shook the arm off and opened his mouth to respond, when another idiot materialized, "Leave the wretched thing alone, mother," the idiot smiled a stupid smile and Jason found himself wanting to punch those dumb perfect teeth in, "you know how sensitive Wayne gets about his charity cases."
Jason's upper lip curled up into a violent version of a grin; his ears were red, and his fists clenched. Venom pooled on his tongue but he curbed the desire to shout and curse, "I'll be goin' then."
The 'son' laughed that stupid rich fake laugh, his stupid gelled hair not moving a millimeter when he tossed his head back, "No no no, the other one did these delightful tricks," he swirled his glass of champagne, "why don't you do something amusing for us. Show us why Wayne rescued you from whatever hovel he pulled you from."
Jason felt more than saw the presence at his back, and all of a sudden, the gelled-haired idiot was on the floor, clutching his jaw with his champagne glass shattered next to him. Bruce smiled like he'd just read an article taking down Lex Luthor, "My apologies, Preston, Veronica," he shifted to partially obscure Jason, "my hand must have slipped."
And in that moment, watching an aristocrat spit blood onto the polished floor (those perfect teeth covered in red), Bruce's fine tailored suit protecting him like a shield, in a stunned silent room- Jason smiled a real smile for the first time that night.

“What a great idea Vladdie!”
“I don’t know Jack…”
“Oh I assure you, my dear Maddie that Daniel will be perfectly safe with me. I won’t let him out of my sight for a moment.”
“Come on Maddie, it would be a perfect opportunity for our Danno to bump elbows with some rich bigwigs!”
“Well maybe he can talk to them about getting some funding for ghost extermination. Very well Vlad. You can take Danny to Gotham.”
Danny was disassociating. While not entirely a new state of being, a dissociative episode had never lasted this long for him. He had been fully checked out from his body ever since the flight from Amity Park to Gotham. He had been thinking about turning intangible and just letting the plane fly through him so he could go home, when Vlad had leaned over to him to whisper in his ear. Vlad said if Danny stepped even one toe out of line, or did anything to embarrass him, Vlad would overshadow as many people as it took to ensure that Jazz was turned down by every college she applied to. He would ruin her entire future if Danny did even one thing wrong.
Danny had started disassociating after that.
His parents had done a lot to hurt him and Jazz. Usually the harm the elder Fentons did to their children was either accidental or unknowing. Like when Jazz was sick for days after the Thanksgiving dinner where Dad tried to fry the turkey in ectoplasm or like when they shot Danny when he was out as Phantom.
However this time there was no excuse for them hurting their kids. If they ever listened to their children they would know that Danny hated Vlad and Jazz didn’t trust him. The kids had said over and over again for years that they didn’t like Vlad, but no! Uncle Vladdie could do no wrong! Danny and Jazz were just making things up for attention.
Ancients, Danny hoped that he could keep his nose clean for the trip, he didn’t want to be responsible for Jazz having to give up her dreams of getting into an Ivy League school. He had lost huge swaths of time. He barely remembered leaving the airport and the next time he was cognizant they were heading to the gala in the tailored suits Vlad had ordered.
Fortunately Vlad loved nothing more than the sound of his own voice, not even Danny or his mom. So he was more than happy to talk to the people around them about Danny and any time someone asked Danny a question he would be the one to answer instead. Vlad kept his hand either on Danny’s shoulder or on the back of his neck at all times so he couldn’t even slip away.
Now he was talking to some rich fruitloop who kept trying to engage Danny in conversation. Brucie? Wait? Bruce Wayne? Yeah the guy was rich but why would Vlad go out of his way to introduce Danny to this airhead?
“Well, yes, my son Damian does have many interests, but I can’t say that any of them have to do with NASA's latest satellite.” Mr. Wayne was saying in response to something Vlad had said. Ah. That made sense. Vlad wanted to brag, shove his superiority into Mr. Wayne’s face. Brucie turned to address Danny. “Tell me Daniel, what do you know about NASA's deep space satellite?”
“Uh, I prefer Danny actually, Mr. Wayne.” Danny said. Mr. Wayne’s eyebrows rose marginally considering those were his first words during this conversation. “And I-”
“Yes, Daniel really is attached to that childish nickname, isn’t he?” Vlad spoke up again. “Really Brucie, you would think children would grow up at some point. We should discuss this more over a game of golf next week…”
Danny let Vlad’s words wash over him again. The worst thing about Vlad was he really knew how to push Danny’s buttons. Of course he would bring up the new satellite only to show off to his rich rival, then not even let Danny talk about it. And then insulting him for his name! Prick!
He tried to avoid looking at Brucie’s concerned face. Obviously he was a socialite and knew all about the proper behavior for galas, and Vlad probably wasn’t meeting those social rules. There was a small part of Danny’s chaos-gremlin brain that wanted to say something seemingly innocuous but super sus if you thought about it. Nothing would make Danny happier than getting Vlad investigated for something stupid like tax fraud, but he couldn’t risk Jazz’s career just for spite. Or gremlin urges.
Vlad moved his hand from Danny’s shoulder down to his lower back. Danny did everything he could to keep the snarl he wanted to make at that action from coming out. He still couldn’t help the full body shudder that shook his frame for a fraction of a second. Vlad shot him a look filled with malice and promised pain so Danny reigned himself back in and put his attention firmly on the floor in front of him.
Danny clenched his fists, driving his nails into his own palms. He was sure he was bleeding, but he couldn’t stop. He couldn’t do anything. He hated feeling powerless. You would think that after the portal accident and him gaining actual real powers the feeling would be far more rare, except it happens far too often and he hated it. His hands were shaking with rage and suppressed desire to punch Vlad right in his smug, manipulative, fruit-loop face.
He chanced a glance up just in time to see a girl melt out of the shadows near the wall. If he didn’t know better he would say she was a ghost with how easily she was able to appear. But she definitely wasn’t a ghost. Perhaps a touch liminal, but not a ghost. And she was watching him.
Danny tilted his head slightly to get a better look at her and she tilted her head to match. Her eyes flicked to the two adults for only a fraction of a second to confirm they were still engaged in whatever conversation they were having, then her hand came up and she signed for letters in what Danny recognized as ASL.
“R U O K.”
She merely looked the question at him. He risked a peak at Vlad, but he was focused on trying to strong arm Brucie into meeting for a golf match and some private drinks. Other than his thumb rubbing circles into the small of Danny’s back he wasn’t paying any attention to him. Danny looked back at the girl who was watching him intently. He gave the smallest shake of his head he could, hoping that Vlad wouldn’t notice. The girl nodded and slipped effortlessly back into the shadows, all but disappearing from view.
Several more minutes went by of mindless conversation with Mr. Wayne seemingly had given up on trying to get Danny to answer questions. He let his mind drift again to his beloved stars as he began naming the stars in biggest constellations visible in the night sky.
For a while Danny thought that nothing would come of the mystery girl who had checked on him, until a crash echoed across the hall from the entrance of the gala hall. Vlad finally released Danny’s shoulder to whirl to face the noise. Then to his surprise, Mr. Wayne turned as well to put himself in between Danny and the crash, effectively hiding him from Vlad. At first he thought that was just serial adopter Brucie Wayne’s first gut instinct in a crisis, putting his body between a threat and the nearest black haired kid.
However, immediately after Mr. Wayne stepped in front of him, two kids appeared out of the crowd, grabbed Danny’s shoulders and started to drag him away. He recognized the asian girl who had signed to him, and the other was, even more surprisingly, Damian Freaking Wayne! That meant that the other girl must be Cassandra Wayne! Sam had made sure Danny knew all the Waynes before the topic of the gala had even come up. Apparently the Waynes were the only people who made the events her parents dragged her to worth it.
Damian and Cassandra maneuvered through the crowd so effortlessly Danny had to take a moment to check if they were using intangibility. The trio weaved through as the noise behind them got even louder until they pulled him into a back room of the hall where a very tired looking Timothy Drake-Wayne was already there on his laptop. He looked up at Danny in confusion for a second before returning his attention to the computer in front of him.
“Don’t worry, that noise was just the chandelier in the entrance hall falling. Apparently it couldn’t take Dick’s weight.” Timothy, actual real CEO of Wayne enterprises said. Tucker would be losing his mind right now.
Cassandra settled Danny into a chair while Damian marched up to Timothy. Danny could finally take a moment to look properly at the Waynes. All three of them wore elegant, likely name brand suits. Timothy was wearing a plain white shirt under his suit jacket while Cassandra and Damian wore black on black suits, though Damian’s did have some green highlights at the lapels and pockets. Timothy looked like his eye bags had eye bags, which Danny could relate to.
“Father ordered you not to work for the night of the Gala.” Damian snapped. When Timothy didn’t dignify that with a response the youngest Wayne turned back to face Danny. “Vladimir Masters escorted you to the gala tonight.”
Danny couldn’t help but snort.
“What a polite way of phrasing that.” He said with a dark chuckle.
“Would it be more accurate to call you his hostage?” Timothy asked from his chair, where he was still focusing on his computer screen and whatever it was he was working on.
That brought Danny up short. He tried to stutter out a denial, but Damian quickly spoke over him.
“Has he hurt you? Threatened you or someone you care about?” Damian demanded.
“N-no!  He would never lay a finger on me!” Danny was quick to say, trying to project as much confidence as possible. Cassandra moved her flat hand in line across her face. Damian glanced at her and his eyes narrowed at Danny.
“You don’t have to lie to protect him. We can protect you, our family has resources.”
Danny shook his head over and over again.
“I can’t talk about it. I can’t talk about it. I can’t talk about it.” He had to repeat himself, the phrase trapping themselves in his mind as he kept saying it over and over again.
If he told them what Vlad had done to him, Vlad would ruin Jazz’s entire life. He already regularly tried to kill his father, but there was no telling what he would do to Jazz. Danny couldn’t tell them about being thrown into walls during his fights with Plasimus, or the clones Danny had watched melt in his arms under Vlad’s uncaring eye. He almost jumped out of his skin when a hand came to rest on his shoulder.
While he was panicking, Damian had withdrawn, visibly uncertain about how best to approach him. Cassandra and Timothy had come closer, Cassandra had her hand on his shoulder providing a calm, steadying presence. Timothy had closed his laptop and scooted forward his attention now fully on Danny. He made some motion to the others that seemed to symbolize that he was going to be taking point.
“You’re not from Gotham originally, is that right?” When Danny nodded he continued. “We have some heroes here in Gotham. Believe it or not, we Waynes get kidnapped a lot, get rescued a lot. We know some of the Bats, they could help you.”
Danny was already shaking his head again.
“No, no no! That’s even worse. The worst thing that can happen if you Waynes help me is Brucie gives Vlad WE for pennies on the dollar and Vlad gets even richer. But if you get Batman involved, then he could have a man inside the JL. He could turn them against the people, use them as a tool to take over whatever he wants. He could overthrow the Ghost King…”
Now Danny was really panicking. He had muttered the last bit, terror carving its way through him. It would be like the absolute worst of the fight with Pariah Dark and Dan all over again. Danny would have to fight, and maybe kill the Justice League to stop him. If he won, he would have to eradicate Earth’s heroes, and if he lost Vlad would become King of the Infinite Realms.
“You are talking about mind control.” Damian said, his eyes wide.
“No! Not mind control. Overshadowing. Humans call it possession.” Danny was rambling now. Desperately trying to convince these silly rich people not to get involved. Danny was a lost cause, he couldn’t be helped. All he could do was keep his head down long enough for Jazz to get into her college of choice. The Waynes glanced at each other nervously for a moment and Damian pulled his phone from his pocket.
“I think I need to make a call.”
Danny snapped his head up, his attention on the far wall as his breath came out in a foggy puff, like he had just walked into a freezer. He didn't know it but his eyes were blazing green at that moment.
“It’s too late now.”
The Waynes all step back or slouch against their chairs. Only a second later the door to their room snaps open, Vlad furious, his once spotless suit now covered in red wine and assorted finger foods. His eyes burned red with rage as he locked onto Danny. Timothy immediately stood to his feet.
“Ah, Mr. Masters.” Vlad pulled himself back from his rage with difficulty to acknowledge the young CEO. “We were just coming out to look for you. Your ward was grabbed by our security team. Small case of mistaken identity. It's standard procedure during these sorts of events to get my brothers and sister to safety in the event of another terrorist attack. Or worse a Joker attack. Thankfully it seems everything is under control. You may take your charge now.”
Timothy brushed past Vlad without another comment. Damian glared at him, but he glared at everyone, while Cassandra just stared at Vlad, unblinking, like some kind of demonic cat. Her complete lack of reaction obviously weirded Vlad out even more than Damian’s aggression.
“Oh I’ll do that.” He grabbed Danny’s arm hard enough to bruise. “Come Daniel. We’re leaving.”
Danny turned away from the Waynes as he was dragged out the door. He didn’t want to face their pity. At least he did a good enough job convincing them that they can’t help him. Now he just had to last long enough to get back home again. He let himself checkout, ignoring Vlad’s crushing grip on his arm as he dragged from the gala and back to the hotel.
When Danny next checked in with his body it was to Vlad screaming in his face and burning pain in his body. In Vlad’s furious race out of the Gala after his humiliation he had pulled Danny’s arm out of his socket. And to emphasize his points Vlad would hit him with ecto fire, each hit destroying more of his once nice suit and leaving burns on his body.
“You think you can just toy with me in front of these richest elite? I will make your life hell! I will make your sister’s life hell! She’ll be lucky to make a living on the street corners of a shit hole like this!” He gestured out to the window, which Danny belatedly realized was open. “I just don’t understand why you make me do this to you, Daniel. Little Badger, you are forcing my hand and I-”
He shrieked as a batarang whipped from the open window. The lights in the hotel room flickered for a second and Batman, Robin and Orphan were standing in the room when the lights returned. Vlad turned to them, furious that they would interrupt.
“Vladimir Masters. We have some questions for you.” Batman growled.
“No! I think you’ll find Batman, that I have some questions for you!” Vlad’s eyes flared red. Danny tried to stop him but he was backhanded away
Vlad floated into the air as his ghost transformation rolled over his body. He reached out to grab Batman but before he could several things happened at once. First and most shockingly, Robin drew a katana and cut off Plasmius’ hand at the wrist. Then several voices shouted out at once.
“Azarath Metrion Zinthos!”
“Dnib siht tirips ot sti ydob!”
“Puer iste spiritus maxime!”
Chains of gold, purple and blazing fire wrapped around Plasmius again and again. The chains dragged him down to the ground even as he snarled and swore at them. A man in a trench coat, a woman in a long black cloak and an actual stage magician appeared in the room, magic sparking at their fingertips. Cassandra had bypassed the battle completely to come to Danny's side, though she did still have her weapons in her hands. Batman turned to address him, ignoring Vlad’s continued vitriol in the middle of the arcane trap.
“You’re safe now Danny. You don’t have to worry about him hurting you ever again. This I swear.” Batman said, his voice just as serious as it ever was, and for the first time in his life, Danny felt like he could actually believe it when someone told him he was safe. He collapsed to his knees, shuddering sobs shaking his body. He was safe, Jazz was safe from Vlad’s machinations. Maybe this nightmare could finally be over.

Author Danny
Sorry this took long I was a bit busy with life, anyway here you bon appetit
------------------
Part 2
After a lot of convincing and reassuring, Danny finally uploaded a few of his fanfictions on a popular fanfic website. Now, it is pretty well known that danny has very low self-esteem, so imagine his surprise when the next morning his emails were bombarded with compliments and people begging that he writes more. it turns out the people also like it fanfictions involving about the romance of their local heroes and their deep meanings on others perspectives.
They even started making paperprints and selling them. All you need to know was that Sam helped with the publishing, and Tucker helped with the printing an editing, and now the three of them were swimming and cash.
His fanfictions that's so popular in fact that some college and high school theater kids have decided to make musicals at of his fanfictions (with Danny's permission of course). It turns out that those group of kids where mostly from Metropolis and Gotham.
So when Damian's school suggested they put on a play about a Fanfic that was pretty popular within the students and faculty, everyone was on board. Well everyone except Damian because why would they want to put on a play based on a fanfiction titled 'To you from afar' (Batman x Brucie Wayne), but immediately changed his mind and was all on board the moment he finished reading it, mostly because of the author's hilarious take on the theories and conspiracies between the relationship between the mysterious-protecter-darknight Batman, and Himbodad-partyboy Bruce Wayne and the compelling story with deep interpretation.
And so now that Damian was going to be helping, everything now needs to be perfect, but he really isn't that knowledgeable about plays or theaters, and the teachers did say that you are allowed to ask for help from their families, and he was working on the 'you are allowed to ask for help, we won't think that you're weaker we promise -Says Richard', and decides to enlist the help of their family book reader and expert on romance novelties being Jason Todd.

i would love a batjokes concept with Joker pursuing Bruce that really digs into the fact that Bruce Wayne is way more of a false identity than Batman is
and the Joker is smart, just like Selina and other partners to get close to Bruce - he'd REALISE that and be fascinated by it
my favourite variations of Bruce Wayne are never the garbage grimdark ones where he's Really Serious and Broody, bc like. that's ridiculous (and too hetero). batman is really serious and broody. bruce wayne needs to be the opposite of that.
now some stories go for a bruce wayne that's just incredibly earnest, who's genuine and kind and full of love - and by definition HAS to either be misrepresenting himself, or is so naive that he never really hardens himself to the people who lie to his face
my FAVOURITE, though, is when bruce wayne goes HARD on being a himbo. he's a bright-eyed grinning playboy, he's a billionaire, he's kind in the thoughtless, easy way of a man who's so incredibly rich he can throw money at whomever and whatever cause he pleases
this is the bruce wayne who's always at parties and is always having fun and drinking, who dates all these beautiful models and he does funny videos playing with puppies for gotham's equivalent of buzzfeed and he uses the cutest filters on insta, he does stupid dances on tiktok
and the thing is, it's ALREADY fun if. it's known among certain of bruce's compatriots that this is false. bruce has glazed eyes during the board meeting but he's listening to every word; he looks pretty, so people invite him to important shit, and then bruce CAN be disarming
because in a city like gotham, of COURSE bruce wayne would pretend he's a beautiful himbo with nothing going on between his ears - it's the perfect defence mechanism. none of the corrupt cunts at the mayor's office will hurt him, bc they don't think he's a threat
and so bruce can pretend to just stumble into valuable philanthropy, he can work on certain fundraisers and similar, and he won't be targeted the same way his parents were
and that alone would FASCINATE joker
like once he got close enough to realise, to grok this - like, he's brushed this pretty billionaire off as some hot eyecandy, but WAIT, there's a BRAIN behind those baby blues? that sexy carved jaw and cleft chin isn't even as interesting as what he can SAY?
and just like… bruce having to juggle the fact that suddenly joker is stalking him and making a big show of making notes about his behaviours like he's birdwatching, but joker ISN'T being violent, and he's actually occupied, so bruce just-- lets him
it's the perfect cover, right? bruce wayne is already an act where he pretends to be something he's not, so why would anyone ever think that there's ANOTHER secret identity under that?
i was just reading a Batjokes fic that isn't delving that much into this, but there's a moment where Joker picks up the picture of Bruce's parents in his office and makes some comments, and Bruce snaps and grabs him by the throat
and FUCK but like. can u imagine a moment like that in a story like this, where Bruce Wayne is a little scared of Joker, but genuinely trying to be nice - probably thinks he can rehabilitate him, the sweet, pretty idiot - and Joker is filtering out where he's acting
he's gorgeous and he CAN read, he CAN do maths, he CAN play people against each other
but then bruce snaps and suddenly joker is bent back against a wall or shoved to the ground or over a desk, and he's staring up at him, AWED
because, o ho ho, Brucie. this doesn't match in either column - should I be adding a third one to my table, huh? Brucie the playboy, Bruce Wayne the businessman, and… who's THIS?
and. fuck. what is Bruce supposed to say?
especially because a story like bruce's is EXPLICITLY and CONTINUOUSLY about masking and being closeted, like. joker could get very excited over what this reveals which is a bruce that's NOT soft: it's a bruce that's gay and KINKY, which is why he likes joker in the first place

I JUST HAD AN AMAZING IDEA! In an attempt to have Daniel all to himself, Vlad sees an opportunity in the form of Jason Todd, who was casually conversing with Jasmine at the balcony during the Wayne Gala Vlad invited Daniel and Jasmine to.
And so, Vlad goes up to Bruce, grins good-naturedly, and jokes, "I might have to prepare myself if your son and my goddaughter gets any closer!"
Bruce looks towards where Vlad is pointing, which is also the time Jason starts laughing a full belly laugh with the most relaxed smile he's seen on his boy's face in years. The girl, Jasmine Fenton, is good for him. Very good.
A tear runs down Bruce's face. "She's wonderful," he says in an almost whisper.
Vlad grins (evilly) to himself. Perfect. The idiot Brucie is on board with him.
Meanwhile, Danny is looking at Jazz and sees her the most relaxed he's ever seen her be. She deserves to be relaxed, after all the ghostly bullshit they've been going through.
The man beside him (his name is Dick, isn't that wonderful?) agrees with him that they do look great together.
Danny and Dick decide to team up to get Jazz and Jason together.
It's just that Vlad and Bruce's plans to get Jasmine and Jason togethrr clashes with Dick and Danny. BOTH SIDES THINKS THAT THE OTHER GROUP IS TRYING TO SABOTAGE THEM BECAUSE THEY THINK THE OTHER GROUP IS BEING OVER-PROTECTIVE. Soon, both groups forget the main goal and starts purposefully sabotaging each other: old dads vs the brothers.
The Batfamily has bets on who's going to win. Team Phantom has bets on who's going to lose. Alfred secretly wedded Jason and Jazz in the kitchen.
It's pure chaos until everyone finds out that Jazz and Jason is already living together in an apartment and living their best life. Bruce, Vlad, Dick and Danny are drowning (in shock) in the background, but this ain't about them
The moment you dropped "was casually conversing with Jasmine at the balcony during the Wayne Gala" I was sold, friend.
I love the cracky approach so much!!! Oh, the irony, everyone wants them together but they fail the harder they try!
I bet Jazz and Jason realize pretty soon what's happening and Jazz like "should we... say something???" and Jason like "nah, let them suffer for a bit." Jazz is a bit worried for a second, but when she sees Vlad eat shit and have a tantrum she understands the funny approach.
Alfred is a dear, he also decided to be chaotic. I wouldn't say marry them, but he is in on the joke and acts as if he is not understanding what's going on, but spies for Jason and Jasmine, gladly texting Bruce's conversations and movements.
Just for giggles, I want them to go "Oh? We got married already like, a month ago! In Vegas!" <- not necessarily true, but it would piss everyone off.
Also, Bruce realizing in the middle of the chaos that Vlad's intentions aren't that pure and switching sides so it becomes an all out war against Vlad that has NOTHING to do with setting up the couple and is all about making Vlad suffer.
Hilarious.

A Robin's Devotion
Cws: Unhealthy Relationships, Mind Manipulation, Implied/Referenced Mind Control, Partial Mind Control, Demon Deals, Obsessive Behavior, Possessive Behavior, Ambiguous Relationships, Morally Ambiguous Character, Dead Dove: Do Not Eat
Dick Grayson was always the first.
The first Robin, the first son, the first to be by Batman's side, the first to light his way.
He loved Batman, as much as he did Brucie. But not as much as he loves Bruce Wayne.
The secret awkward smile meant more than the picture perfect one, because the former was his. It was a gesture for Dick's eyes alone—perhaps Alfred but that was a given.
And truly, what a gift it was to see; to see him, to know him, to love the real Bruce Wayne; imperfect and broken yet so strong and gorgeous.
One faithful day, the admiration would be tested.
When the Bat could merely lay in bed with a broken rib and bruised head, a frown on his lips because even in rest he could not find peace. So little Robin sneaked in, laying his head near the man, convincing himself that his love will not leave him like the two before.
That's when she appeared. Like a phantom, a spector, a cryptid. A blessing.
Adorned in shadows and mist, a figure with no face nor form. But with a single name.
"Who are you?" The Boy Wonder whispered, glancing at the being, standing by the windows. A sliver of moonlight passes through her as her blank eyes fall upon the injured man. Robin grips the sheets, eyes narrowing.
"Gotham," came the answer, equally soft. A secret, a fact, a truth.
"My knight, my love," she slinks forward, soundless. She soothes a tender hand on Bruce's wound, crooning as the man grunts. "My son."
A moment of tranquillity sets, as both child and deity merely watches their beloved. But their love is different yet the same; just as strange as it is natural.
"You will protect him."
"I will."
"You love, my child?"
"Always."
The woman nods. She offers her hand and without any hesitation Dick grabs it. Instantly, black sigils wrap around his hand, crawling up his arm. He doesn't scream, doesn't dare to wake the sleeping man up, so instead shuts his eyes.
After a moment, he tentatively opens them. Only to notice that the woman was gone. Robin catches a look at his reflection in the windows.
The same bright blue eyes but with black sclera and the once familiar smile now sharp. He runs a hand through the small bumps on his head. 'Horns…' the boy thinks, delirious.
A part of him—his humanity—in exchange for the power and strength to keep Gotham's Dark Knight safe. For a moment, doubts cloud his heart. Did he do the right thing? Could he keep his promise? Was it worth it?
A shift, and there's Bruce, cracking his eyes open. Bleary icebergs that the boy has always loved staring at meet his own. A feeble but no less earnest attempt at a smile. Perhaps he can't see the transformation—or maybe he can but doesn't care because it's Dick.
"Chum…?" the man murmurs, reaching for his light. And who was he to deny his beloved? The boy crawls onto the bed, burying his face into the older man's side, careful of his injuries.
The kid glances up and sees that wonderful, secret smile of his, as the man starts to gently stroke Dick's hair.
'I'll protect you for as long as I'll love you…' the boy traces a clawed hand on the man's arm, mumbling his vow aloud, "Always."
Afterall…
Dick Grayson treasures Bruce, more than he does anybody, even himself.
Jason Todd was the second.
Right after the original, the sequel no one expected. Yet arguably was loved the most—or perhaps it was because the Bat was still healing from losing his first.
The one who died and left, came back and fought, then embraced as a Bat once more.
He fought, bled and wept for the man, the one who saw something in him. Something amazing, something powerful; something akin to potential.
His devotion was eternal, not even death could squash it. For, even when his mind was a chaos of green and violence, it was his voice, his face that the child clung to. His idol, his love, his heart. Bruce Wayne, who he will and had killed for.
So when the woman appeared—on one of those days where he and the Bat fought to the point they said words they didn't mean, poisonous and piercing—he was startled sure, but he had little reservation at the deal she offered; His heart, forever bound to Bruce's.
No longer will he ache or bleed, for it will belong to the man forevermore. Just as the man was his—as much as he was another's.
Jason knew about Dick—saw his true form one quiet night when the former sidekick came to visit, a distant time ago. The older teen was with his mentor in the study, talking about nothing and everything. At one point, the younger male had draped himself across Bruce, yet the man seemed unbothered.
Jason could merely gape as he peeked from the door, confusion in his eyes. Even more so when Nightwing twists to stare back at him. Then for one precious second, he wasn't Dick; dangerous eyes and a sharp smile, claws subtly tracing his brand on Bruce's arm.
Then like a thunder strike, the image was gone.
Jason knew then, that the two were more than what others thought. Heck, maybe the Greatest Detective doesn't even realise he was marked, belonged to someone—something far beyond comprehension.
With that piece of knowledge, the teen glared down at the woman before him. Her appearance did not frighten him—he's seen far worse—but it did perturb him; who was she? Why was she here?
"Red Hood. Once, Jason Todd," the spector utters, her voice is both familiar and foreign. The way she spoke, as if they knew each other when the man is fairly certain they never met—he would've recalled a woman with fathomless eyes. She tilts her head, hair swirling in the air. "You're one of mine."
At the admission, a single word blared in the crime boss' head; 'Gotham.'
His hands itched for a weapon, still strung up from the previous argument. Still feeling that acid burning his skin, the green creeping into his vision. A revered gruff voice echoing in his mind, and that stupid warm smile.
"He can be your's, just as much as you are his."
"He won't just be mine."
"Perhaps. But you'll be one of the few who truly has him."
And what could the boy say to that? So, another deal was made. Another vow was promised, another worshipper born—another soul bonded.
The Red Hood howled as the markings seared him, crawling up his arms. He panted through it all, persevered the same way he had before—with a single name on his tongue, a chant and a prayer.
After, he would dash to the manor like a maniac, as if he was being chased. Not even bothering to look at himself. His heart glowing once he saw Bruce, despite it all. He'd run up to him and embrace him, confusing the older man.
"Jaylad…?"
He doesn't get any answer so Bruce just hugs him back, confused but happy for the affection. Doesn't question why his son's heartbeat was so dangerously soft, almost silent. Unaware, as the now green-eyed man traced a pattern on his back.
Jason looked up and he swore he saw Dick for a moment. Those tarnished blue eyes reflecting his own poisoned green ones, as that same smile from all those years ago appeared. The same deal was made, by another who once wore that forsaken mantle. Another offering given; a part of him—his heart—for his beloved's. A fair price though, if you asked him.
Afterall…
Jason Todd cherishes Bruce, more than anything else, even himself.
Tim Drake was the third.
Unlike those before him, he was not given the chance to be by the Bat's side—he took it. He would do anything to be with the man; be the light when the darkness became too much.
Ask any Gothamite, they would surely agree; of what a fine pair they made. So similar, so in tuned—they were like one soul in seperate forms.
A mind that worked in tandem, in perfect sync, in their own sweet melody. But the third Robin was not so deaf, as to the other two notes in the song—the distinctive notes that reminded him that the Bat was not his alone.
And he accepted that, knowing what he had signed up for; what he had pledged the moment he donned the iconic 'R' over his heart.
He was never fazed by how… clingy the former Robins were with the man, how they would hover so close by. He always caught sight of at least one of them, hidden in the shadows, silently watching. He didn't bring it up, didn't feel the need to. It was natural, to want to protect a loved one right?
But the lad, ever so cunning—more so than even his idol at times—saw the truth for what it was. How Dick's smile turns sharp when a suitor talks to Brucie, eyes a warning and a threat; how the Red Hood becomes more violent when another villain had injured Batman, snarling and growling; how the two, no matter what, would always return to—for Bruce.
The only confusion he had was the source of the utter and complete devotion. Tim doesn't much believe in magic, he trusted numbers and charts, unquestionable facts. He knew the Bat was not a living shadow, nor an instrument of destruction, nor a God of justice like the papers speculate—he was Bruce Wayne, the boy who loved and lost. Now, grown up to make sure he would be the last to ever experience such tragedy.
Not to say Tim was any less a worshipper.
Still, it nagged at him. Why did they love the older man so much? All three of them knew him well—who knew him most though, was an argument none had the energy to execute—and he was far from perfect. They've seen him at some of his lowest, at his worst—yet the former Robins would never fail to drop everything at once if Batman were to call.
His answer came one day and he had accepted it, which brings him to the current moment. Brucie was at work, charming and delighting his guests with an affection Tim knows he hardly feels. Because the real love only appears behind the glitz and glam; when the man looks at him, at Alfred, at Jason, at Dick—at those who actually matter.
"Careful, CEO of Wayne Enterprise—some might assume you're jealous."
The comment snapped the teen out of his daze, carefully placing his cracked champagne glass down. He looked forward, scanning around steadily.
"I'm not."
The woman, so out of place yet she blends in with the crowd so seamlessly, glides to his side. They don't look at each other; her gaze on the billionaire playboy while he glimpses two familiar silhouettes, lurking and watching.
"You are," she asserts, speaking it as the fact it is, "you are, because he is not yours."
"He's not theirs either," his voice feels deafening yet not one soul seems to notice the two, "Brucie belongs to everyone, the people; Batman belongs to this city, to Gotham."
"And Bruce Wayne?"
Tim finally turns to the eldritch being, blue eyes meet those inky black pools firmly. Once, he would have laughed if someone told him he'd be here; the new Robin, now CEO of WE, talking to the manifestation of the most forsaken, dangerous place on earth. All the more, that he would make a deal with said being, one to bind him and his beloved for as long as his infinite love—just as his predecessors had.
Still, here he was.
"To us, just as he always had," he nods, eyes finally flicking back to Bruce. He hears, practically feels the pleased rumble from the two older beings, wherever they are.
The woman departs, as unassuming as when she entered.
His focus pins on Bruce, his feet bringing him to the older man's side the moment one of the females starts getting too intimate. Once he stops in front of him, Tim says nothing, merely smiling thinly at everyone before giving his idol a more warm grin. He tilts his head, eyes glowing as he gently tugs him away. The older man doesn't resist, but does offer some quick apologies to the guests. The teen couldn't care less.
As soon as they reach a quiet alcove, Tim spins on his heel, a frown as he finally lets his emotions bled through. His new appearance doesn't frighten Bruce—just as he was never horrified by Dick's or Jason's. He didn't see them as monsters, demons, or any other silly notion. He loved them, and he knew they were his boys even if they were now tainted by the darkness. Because really, how could a man feel fear for something he regularly embraces?
Tim slinks forward and pulls the taller man down a little, his newfound strength something the smaller male is still astounded by. Darken eyes lock on those precious glassy blue.
"Timmy…?"
Tenderly, he nuzzles the man's cheek, hands holding his face in place. The man allows this and when the boy pulls back, he is satisfied to see his mark glowing, evidence of whom the older man belonged to. The teen steps back, griping Bruce's own hand in a vice.
"Sorry, I was just thinking about this all day," he tells his beloved, beaming as he gestures between them. Bruce tilts his head, blinking slowly. The boy couldn't help but to coo despite himself, before lightly dragging the man back into the main hall.
Let them have Brucie, the millionaire playboy, the sad orphan turned heartbreaker.
He's paid the price—his mind—to be with the man. He'll happily collect his prize, but he's also a very patient boy. He can wait as Brucie comes out; he can sheath his claws and hide his fangs when suitors start being a little too daring. He can think of a million and one ways to deal with them.
He had vowed to be Bruce's light, so what does it matter if he burns out?
Afterall…
Tim Drake adores him, more than anyone else ever could, only him.

Sons of the Bat
(this fic was inspired by a fic prompt by @batmanfan6)
Summary: Bruce learns that he has more than one biological child.
Characters: Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Selina Kyle, Clark Kent, Diana Prince
Bruce stared at the screen unblinking. This couldn’t be, it wasn’t possible. ‘Bruce,’ Superman said his voice wavering a little. ‘Do you realise what this means?’ Bruce nodded. The file on the screen was clear. Conner hadn’t been the first human/kryptonian hybrid clone Lex had made. Just the first using his own DNA. The first clone had been only a toddler when they were removed from the pod. The file went on to say how the child showed no kryptonian traits. How they were to be disposed of in the woods. But something had gone wrong and the boy’s would be killer was forced to hide and watch as a young couple appeared from among the trees. The couple had taken the boy back with them to show him to the other circus folk. But what had really made Bruce stop and stare was the second file listing the DNA sources used to create the boy. The first of course simply read Superman. The second name was Bruce Wayne. ***
‘You can’t be serious.’ Dick groaned his head in his hands. ‘I mean you can’t seriously think that file was real.’ ‘I did have my suspicions, so I ran a quick DNA test, and they both came back positive. You have Kryptonian DNA.’ Dick looked up at him his expression clear that he knew there was more. ‘You also share DNA with me.’ Bruce finished. Dick ran his hands through his hair and shook his head. ‘This makes no sense. First of all why would Lex use your DNA?’ ‘I’m not sure. My best guess is he thought I child sharing Brucie’s DNA would be easy to manipulate. After all he’s not the smartest guy around.’ Dick nodded. ‘But I don’t have any powers. Conner has some so surely I would to?’ ‘Not necessarily. There may be many factors deciding whether or not you’d develop certain powers or none at all. And besides I don’t think it’s true you inherited nothing.’ Dick’s frown depend. ‘What do you mean?’ ‘Well your hearing has always been a little on the sensitive side. And whenever I took you to get your vaccines the nurse would have trouble getting the needle through your skin. But I’d never really thought anything of it before.’ Dick turned his head so he was facing the floor again. For a moment both men were silent, unsure what to say next. ‘I can’t believe my parents weren’t really…’ ‘No,’ Bruce cut in before he could finish. ‘You might not have been related to them biologically but John and Mary will always be your parents. They raised you, and a huge part of the man you are today is because of them.’ Dick nodded and smiled at him a little. ‘Thanks Bruce. Though I suppose I should start calling you dad.’ ‘Only if you want to.’ *** Bruce found Diana alone in one of the Watch towers many corridors staring down at the earth. Unsure what to say he stood and watched her as she wrapped her arms around her stomach. ‘Do you still think about him?’ she asked breaking the silence. ‘Sometimes.’ Bruce admitted. ‘I’m sorry all this is bringing it all back.’ She shook her head. ‘No it’s fine. I’ve learned to live with it.’ Bruce nodded and turned his attention to the window. It had been nineteen years but it felt like only yesterday. Not many knew that he and Diana had once had a child together. Only the original Justice League members and Alfred. They’d had a boy and he’d been perfect. At least for the month they’d had him. *** ‘No human should be that strong.’ The words rang inside Bruce’s head. Supergirl was right no human should be that strong. No ordinary human. He stared at the files in front of him. Two boys had been born on August 16th at Gotham general hospital. The wrong form had been attached to the wrong cot. Two boys had gone home with the wrong mothers. One boy had died a month later from cot death. The second had lived until he was fifteen. Bruce collapsed into his chair. It seemed Jason Todd had died twice. *** Jason’s silence unnerved Bruce more than the expected yelling ever could. Bruce had made sure to tell him outside, where there wasn’t anything for the boy to hurl at his head. But now he was starting to wonder of that had been at all necessary. ‘Is this a joke?’ Jason asked his voice catching. ‘I mean I know you have a weird sense of humour but wow.’ ‘It’s no joke.’ ‘Does. Does Diana know?’ Bruce nodded. ‘I’ve talked to her already. She wants to talk things over with you. I told her only if you want to.’ Jason nodded. ‘I do. Want to that is.’ *** Bruce wasn’t sure what he’d been expecting when he’d told Selina. But he was sure it wasn’t for her to burst into tears. ‘I’m so sorry she sobbed.’ She hadn’t known what else to do. Batman had been off planet with the League. They’re relationship hadn’t developed past the odd bit roof top, fun. She hadn’t learnt his real name, didn’t know who he was outside of Batman. She had almost changed her mind at one point. But the Drake’s had swooped in and adopted her baby before she could. *** This time Bruce wasn’t alone when he delivered the news. Selina had insisted on being there and now sat perched on the arm of his chair. Tim looked from one to the other as if waiting for one of them to crack up. But besides a small smile from Selina that seemed more nervous than anything there was nothing. ‘Why didn’t you say anything sooner?’ he asked her. ‘Why now. Why not the moment Bruce adopted me.’ ‘Because I was scared.’ She admitted. ‘Because I was a coward.’ She swallowed and shifted nervously. ‘I hope you’ll forgive me for that one day.’ Tim shook his head. ‘You have nothing to be sorry for. You did what was best at the time. I’m just glad I actually got to meet you.’ Selina smiled at him, stood up and opened her arms for a hug. For a brief second Tim paused before going over to her and wrapping his arms around her. Bruce was about to leave them to it when Selina pulled him into their hug. *** Bruce stood back as he watched as Damian pointed at the brightly coloured birds, excitedly telling Cass all about them. The others were using that weekend to bond with their mothers, or in Dick’s case his second dad. Well technically he was meeting with the entire Kent clan, at their bi-annual family potluck. It would be the first time he’d interacted with Lois as his stepmother. Or Conner and John as his little brothers. It would also be his first time meeting his grandparents. Diana hadn’t said what she would be doing with Jason as she wanted it to be a surprise. Though Bruce had a strong feeling he knew what this surprise would entail. Despite the fact they lived in the same city and not too far from each other at that Selina had insisted that Tim stay over so they could have a whole day together. Bruce looked at his watch and saw it was nearly 2pm. Around now the two would be going for lunch, both were late eaters. If Tim remembered to eat at all that was. *** Bruce looked at the paper and smiled a little. The papers had jumped on the story that his adopted sons were his biological children. Though they had to tweak a few details. For Tim it had been easy no lies were really necessary. It was no secret that Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle snuck off together during various charity events and had done for years.  They just kept quiet about the details as to when and where under the guise of privacy. Jason had taken a bit of tweaking but eventually they were able to come up with something believable. As with Tim they kept it close to the truth with some minor tweaks. A report or two might have gone missing in the process of making it more believable. Dick had been harder to explain. It would be easiest to say that he was his son but they didn’t know who his mother was. Only several of Clark’s journalist buddies had clocked that something was going on. They’d already figured out that his oldest Conner was also related to Lex Luthor, which had started a rumour that one of them was trans. Eventually they’d decided to tell the truth, that Dick was Bruce and Clark’s son and no they would not elaborate. The internet forums were full of people trying to figure if both the months leading up to Dick and Damian’s births had coincided with one of his impromptu trips abroad or not. In the picture the four stood arms around each other smiling at the camera. Writing under the photo read:  Pictured From left to right; Richard Grayson, Bruce Wayne, Jason Prince and Timothy Kyle-Wayne.

Top 5 Batman portrayals? 👁️🫦👁️💕
OOOO OK OK
So Misha said they don’t have to be live action portrayals so there’s a mix in here! This was also SUPER HARD TO CHOOSE so for the record these aren’t so much ranked as they are a nebulous cloud of a top 5
Kevin Conroy in B:TAS/TNBA/JL. This was probably pretty predictable. Come on. He’s first voice I hear in my head while thinking about Batman (a close second tho actually is something like his voice in Arkham Origins and the Hush movie! Idk their actors tho) and he played one of if not the most important Batman portrayals ever. To get NUANCED about this briefly, I do have issues with the DCAU’s later writing for Bruce, namely how everything about him seems to get so grimdark and edgy compared to his warmth and gentleness in B:TAS BUT how and ever SO. Kevin Conroy king forever 👑
Robert Pattinson in The Batman. You know I love me my Rpatz. I can absolutely understand why he might not be someone’s favourite, especially if they’re a fan of the classic depiction of Bruce, but what I really love about him (and this extends to Riddler too!) is that despite being different in some ways on the surface, all his traits ultimately come from the same core character and experience as depictions that feature more galas, swimwear models and ski trips in the Alps Brucie Waynes. He’s both a very grounded depiction of a deeply troubled man yet he toes the line between the “realism” of ‘verses like the Nolanverse and more camp superhero stuff so well and he has so much potential for his sequel, as well as of course giving us the chance to see him be a detective!! Finally!! To mention Robert himself then, he did such an amazing job playing Bruce. I love Robert Pattinson, I really do, I seek out movies with him in them, and still every time I see him in a movie, Rob completely melts away and it’s just… the character. There truly are few actors I can say that about, but I feel it so strongly for him, and his Batman portrayal was no different. (Also autidm bruce yuh). I also love his dynamic with Jim, Rob and Jeffrey are so good together.
Bruce in Batman: The Imposter. A non-actor one on here! Admittedly I don’t read as many comics as I’d like, but Batman: The Imposter was one I had to buy in May after seeing The Batman and having it recommended to me. For a lot of the same reasons I like The Batman 2022 Bruce, I like B:TI Bruce. I find with him that there’s such a… a softness to him. When he’s Bruce, there’s such a quietness, almost a meekness to him. He really reads as very pained but still somehow managing to find a kindness in his heart, even when he’s so isolated from the world. I also think it’s interesting — if slightly concerning — that Alfred is pretty much gone from Bruce’s life. A while after Bruce comes into Alfred’s care as a child, Alfred can’t handle him anymore, sends him off to boarding school, and dips from the Wayne family completely. Absolute worst Alfred I’ve ever seen, we do not stan. BUT my point is that, while I feel like there’s a chance the author wrote Bruce to be alone for the sake of cliche lone wolf edgelord, it just makes his shy nature outside of the Batman suit stand out to me more. Even so alone, he hasn’t lost hope. And. The page where he’s talking about his effect on Gotham, and he sheds a tear from under the cowl. Yeah. Yeah it got to me. Also! He’s the closest we have to a canonically autistic Bruce!
David Mazouz in Gotham. Okay. Okay. Gotham is not well-written, nor do I like the fact that Bruce plays a part in the show at all, I don’t like him being on a path to Batman from the moment his parents die. HOWEVER. I think David is a fantastic depiction of a young, struggling to grieve, anger-filled, doesn’t-want-to-feel-powerless Bruce. He’s a kid trying to understand himself and the world that’s been turned upside down on him, and David portrays a great balance of innocence and blooming maturity. Also, the older he gets, the more he looks like a perfect Bruce I swear to god. Even if I don’t like Bruce’s role in the show, I always thought David Mazouz was a great fit.
Bruce in The Batman 2004 cartoon. This one’s just fun. They don’t really touch on the darker aspects of him and they don’t mention his parents much at all (they don’t pretend they never died, but they’re very *very* vague and rare about their mentions of them) but I just think he’s really fun. He’s young and energetic but he’s not a party animal, and I think he’s interesting as a,, surprisingly stable Bruce. He also doesn’t have as much separation between Batman —> Bruce and Bruce —> Brucie as other depictions which I think is interesting! He feels very genuine and always like himself, but they’re also not afraid to show him being self-destructive or neglecting his needs for his work.
BONUS MENTION BECAUSE I HAVE SO MANY THOUGHTS: Ben Affleck in the DCEU. Okay okay OKAY I do not like the DCEU. I really don’t, and I think Bruce is grievously miswritten (???) in BvS. But. Ben deserved better. I can very easily see him as Bruce. I think he makes a very good older Bruce, AND he was great in the party scene in BvS where he meets Clark and they butt heads. Same as with Henry Cavill, they deserved to play better written versions of their characters.

My list of least favorite to favorite Batman actors:
Note: I’m a random person on the Internet, and my opinion should not affect you to the point of rudeness, harsh comments, or any sort of discourse whatsoever. I never say DNI, because you can interact with whoever you want, I’m not your mom, but if you want to start an argument…
DNI.
Also, I am an idiot and I’m aware of that, please don’t judge me.
Lastly, I’m excluding Kevin Conroy from the list because all his works vary, I either love his voice or I hate his voice, there is no in between. (Note: this was in my drafts for a very long while, during which Mr. Conroy had passed away. RIP Mr. Conroy.)
Without further ado: My Batman actor list:
9. Adam West- I personally didn’t enjoy his Batman… the whole vibe was too old and silly looking for me, but if I’d been alive at the time it came out I think I would’ve enjoyed it. It’s like the way my little siblings feel about the original yugioh series.
8. Battinson (Robert Pattinson)- I have a whole speech for this but I’ll try to be brief. Batman is the second smartest character in the DC universe (after Lex Luthor, a fact I think is still up for debate.) and the second best in hand to hand combat (after Lady Shiva which is not up for debate, I totally get that.) He can toss a man across a room with one hand, aim a gun without looking and grapple across cities supporting himself and all his body weight and muscle mass with one arm. He can learn a person’s tells, weaknesses, and inner natures after a few moments of conversation. Guy is a freakin BEAST of a man. Battinson gave me Walmart edition Tim Drake Batman from battle of the cowl vibes. He was like the brown ninja from Lego ninjago. (I don’t know if that guy went on to become great or something, all I know is that when I stopped watching the show he was a liability at best.) He didn’t feel like batman, or at least any batman I knew and liked to see. I don’t know if they were going for like, detective comics batman, but even then I felt like he fell flat and did a poor job. That’s my opinion and that’s that.
7/6/5. (Totally equal.) George Clooney, Val Kilmer, and Michael Keaton- Movies were fine, they weren’t anything special for me in terms of acting, no issues, no highlights.
4. Batfleck (Ben Affleck)- LISTEN I know his movies sucked, I’m not defending those, however he did a great job of playing the white knight, future state, urban legends, Injustice, Heroes in crisis, Doomsday clock, basically any elseworld Batman I ever read and liked- he pulled off the vibes. The paranoia, the desperation, the determination- he did those very well. He was the best BRUCE WAYNE. His Batman performance was eh, nothing special, weird suit, but his Bruce performance? Phenomenal. Especially when he had to be Bruce, party boy Brucie, shaking hands, “I bought the bank” Bruce, and then when he was “even a 1% chance” contingency, decoding files, nightmare having Bruce, and when he was working out, investigating, preparing Bruce. He did them all justice (pun intended.) better than pretty much everyone else. (UPDATE) I just remembered this list is for Batman actors, not Bruce, so I’d put him at 7, maybe 6. I’d change the list, but I’m lazy. (I also wrote the word Bruce so many times the word has lost all meaning.)
3. Jason O’mara- I thought he was great. I loved his voice, it was basically perfect. 10/10 Nothing more, nothing less.
2. Christian Bale- Absolutely amazing. Amazing Batman, fantastic Bruce, really cool detective, awesome everything. Only thing I’d change, and this is super petty, is just that in terms of aesthetics I’d want him to be thicker, I thought he was very lean, and the suit would just be upgraded to like 2022 quality, little more updated/sleek, yknow? But that’s not even a real critique, just a thought. I loved him, absolutely phenomenal.
And finally.
The moment we’ve all been waiting for.
The GOAT.
NUMERO UNO: MR. WILL ARNETT.
ALL OTHER BATMAN ADAPTATIONS ARE DOWNRIGHT MID WHEN COMPARED TO THIS GOD

OMGGGG chapter 23 is my favorite so far!!
i love bruce povs and this one is no exception. the rubbing of the chest AGAIN?? obsessed. bruce looking back on the footage and thinking that he should have done better?? poor baby is so critical of himself. they really are so similar; each only thinking about the other making it out alive 🥺
i love that he woke up during the night and saw her sleeping closer to him. i had hoped this would happen so THANK YOU lol
bruce changing the bandage mostly because he didn’t want y/n to see the blood and worry? he’s so whipped i love it 🥺 also i absolutely adore them both daydreaming about the same moment (her hand on his stomach when she’d been changing the bandages) that’s so *chef’s kiss* and this is why i love seeing both povs 🥰 also both of them reminding themselves that “she wasn’t his” and “he wasn’t hers” AHHHHHH like YOU BOTH WANT TO BE EACH OTHER’S THOUGH
the shower scene 💀💀 HAHA
the last line of bruce’s pov is so sad 🥲 like no brucie u deserve the kind of love you crave and she WANTS to be that love for you!!
i love the way the reader’s reactions to the nightmares was written! the fact that she snuck into his room and left before he woke up 4 nights is so 🥺 they both just care about each other so much 😭 her immediate reaction to bruce waking up and seeing her there being to just leave is so relatable lmaoo. their interaction during this scene makes me so soft. him placing her hand over his heart? GOODBYE that’s so precious. i love that he insisted she stay in the bed. i’m sure it’s going to help his peace of mind too and he’s probably relieved that this gives him an excuse to ask her to stay!
bruce grabbing the fire poker is SO funny to me. like funnier than it should be!! also i’m kinda obsessed with the way he always tells her “stay here” and she never does LOL but it’s cool because she’s a badass!! i also adore her thought process. like, just the consideration of how they got in and where they could be now is very satisfying to me for some reason. her almost hitting bruce with the screwdriver is giving me flashbacks to the fire poker incident LMAOO
bruce and alfred silently communicating before going to take care of the intruders is also so satisfying to me. i love the way you wrote it!! i also love her watching bruce fight (as bruce)! honestly i just really love the way this entire sequence is written!!
“She could see the hard lines of Batman in the way he held himself. Feet planted. Fists clenched. Shoulders tight. For a split second, she blinked and could see the ghost of a cape and pointed ears in how he was standing.” i absolutely adore the way this is written. the ghost of a cape and pointed ears description is mmmm so good!!
i love them working in sync with one another 🥺 her countdown to 3 so that he’d know when to go too even though he wasn’t looking right at her– just perfect. and i love his immediate asking her if she’s hurt. we love protective bruce wayne!
your cats are so cute!! their fur is so gorgeous and they look so fluffy 😍
and here is a song i listened to during this chapter: Afterglow by Taylor Swift (i had to include a taylor swift song hehe) certain lyrics remind me so much of them, especially the nightmares part of the chapter! but i mean… the lyric “tell me that it’s not my fault” literally is them!!
sorry if this ask was a bit incoherent! finals are still going on and my brain feels like mush at the moment!! i’m so excited for chapter 24!
🖤
***CH 23 SPOILERS***
You're welcome for that scene of him waking up and seeing her 😂 I'd thought of it but hadn't actually included it, then decided fuck it and wrote a whole POV for him!
So glad you love seeing the parallels between them and their POVs!! It makes me so happy people notice that stuff 🥺
I've said it before and I'll say it again--idiots to lovers!! They can't realize how much they love each other even though it's so fucking obvious 😂
Poor Bruce when the reader never listens to him. I hope he realizes that's how Alfred feels 😂 (I say as if I don't have the power to write it that way)
I really wanted to show Alfred & Bruce working together at some point and this situation became perfect for it! Might include more of that in the future, who knows
Ugh love when you guys point out specific quotes 🥺 I was so excited to be able to use that gif to go with that line about the ghost of the cape and mask!!
Also thanks, I love my fluffy cats 🥰 they're the best!! And way fluffier in person tbh.
Ugh that song is so cute!! Makes me think of a scene in a future chapter 👀 you'll see!
Good luck with finals bestie!! Hope you do well! ❤️

This is just for my own note keeping to have a time stamped record of my prediction of what's going to happen in ASOH incase I have been blessed w Apollo's dodgeball. Most likely at the end of the chapter and will be the kickoff/lead in to the next sequel
Lexy Bruce and Clark are at the gala they do their whole thing. Now Jason is left at home alone at least while Alfred is driving to the gala and driving home if not alone for the duration of Alfred stays w the valet the whole time for some reason but probably not. But a portion of time Jason is alone in the lake house.
tldr; Dick is going to show up while Jason is alone :)
Dick is gonna come by the manor, potentially for a unrelated purpose or he's upset w Bruce bc wtf the first time u brought Jason home u didn't tell me and now you've gotten pregnant and mated and didn't tell me either? And then oops also didn't say that Jason's back from the dead.
Whatever reason for it, Jason is alone and there's an unfamiliar Alpha (Dick) in the house and Jason Won't Fail Again. Bruce and Clark specifically charged him with keeping watch and protecting the nest. So he attacks, they squabble, and then once more the reveal again of a person realizing they're fighting Jason which should be impossible bc he's dead. Parallels to Jason and Bruce fighting in the nest, zombie!Jason reveal, angst, etc. except this time its flipped w Jay protecting the nest. Which could then lead into the sequel fic of ok we kind of have a routine now Jason is getting settled in pregnancy is going good no drama or anything happening, oh what's that? Oh the characters have gotten too comfortable we need to shake things up a bit w more complicated pack dynamics once more :)
Alternatively, could have something to do w Ra's or Talia seeing as Jason is no longer their little alpha boy set on destroying the bat. Or Maybe Ra's was just coming over to interview Jason for his podcast and then discovers what went down w him and is upset to have lost a dedicated listener.
I just think that there is something suspicious with Jason being left alone, and it's almost a too perfect set up with the heart warming moments w Jay Bruce and Clark at the end of the chapter as theyre leaving. So something happens where Jason does his duty and protects the nest and is either successful or possibly kidnapped but I don't think the LOA would want him back post presentation.
Or extremely funny option that has nothing to do w Jason being alone and he just gets to relax and have a nice evening in, perhaps have a moment to jerk off a bit now that he's alone for the first time in a While privacy is hard to come by, is that the very end of the fic ends w Bruce getting a call from Dick for the first time in years/Alfred answering the door and Dick being there bc of course he heard the news the entire country did that the Brucie Wayne is now knocked up and mated.
So many different avenues available and it will be equally as funny if I am entirely off the mark in every aspect lmao

Selina visiting Bruce while wearing her catwoman outfit with her whip on display
Alfred: [barges into the room with two reporters]
Bruce: [standing in his underwear because he was actually trying to sleep] “um”
Alfred: [is still mad at him] “oh, my mistake, master Bruce. You have company”
Bruce: [looks at Selina]
Selina: [slight nod, tries not to giggle]
Bruce: [looks at reporters] “this… this is actually what it looks like”
