Daemyra = I support pedophilia, grooming and physical abuse.
Zutara = I support colonizer x colonized relations.
Sylki = I support incest with oneself.
Charlastor / Radiobelle = I erase the canonical sexuality of the characters.
Reylo = I support the Nazis !
Darklina / Alarkling = I support a pedophile, a groomer, a pro-genocide and child killer in his spare time.
Sareth = I support pedophilia !
Sessrin / Sesshrin = I support pedophilia, and grooming.
Persades = I support kidnapping, rape and forced marriages.
Wyler / Weyler = I support psychopathic serial killers ! And grooming too ! (Because apparently for some Tyler is an adult and not a teenager as he is canonically in the series...)
This is usually what I get insulted about for loving these relationships... and it's just bullshit.
Daemyra is not grooming and pedophilia, book and show, I have already explained countless times why and I won't do it again here. And Daemon do not abuse physically Rhaenyra in Fire and Blood.
Zutara is not a relationship of a colonizer with a colonized person. Zuko himself is not a colonizer and the people of Katara were never colonized by the Fire Nation.
Sylki is not a true incestuous relationship, especially not with yourself. Sylki is not shown and characterized as truly the same person but as different people with the same role in the universe.
I'm not erasing the canonical sexuality of Charlastor / Radiobelle by shipping them into the context of fanon.
Kylo Ren / Ben Solo is not a Nazi, I also already explained why. Essentially he has no ideology of his own and has been manipulated since his fetus by hearing voices in his head 24/7 again today, and above all the defenders against grooming keep quiet this time ironically, since Kylo Ren / Ben Solo is actually a victim of grooming by Snoke / Palpatine.
The Darkling has not committed any genocide, he is not a pedophile or a groomer either and is even less a killer of childs specifically...
For Sareth basically... Everything that happens in the movie is essentially a representation of the desires / fantasies of teenage Sarah. Jareth is the reflection of her dreams, he literally acts according to her. He is the product of his fantasy. Please note, I'm not saying that what Sarah experiences in the film is literally a dream. No, I'm saying that the film, through its story and especially the character of Sarah, is in a way a representation of the adolescent's desire / dreams, and also a bit of hormones / sexual awakening. Without forgetting the fact of accepting to grow. That's why everything in the maze is in Sarah's room. That's why Jareth's universe is in this book, and also why the way to defeat Jareth there is. This is why Jareth is “in love” with Sarah. That's why he looks like a walking sexual fantasy with his tights on. Why there is a snake, a cane. Why does everyone at the ball wear masks with horns and long noses (= just falic / sexual symbols) Brief. There's nothing wrong with shipping Jareth with Sarah, since he's literally her personal fantasy and he's acting on that. (in the sense that he takes the role she gives him in the story)
Sessrin / Sesshrin is also not a relationship based on pedophilia. Sesshomaru clearly didn't feel anything romantic or sexual about Rin when she was a child. As for the accusations of grooming, they are unfounded because there is no proof. The fact that Rin gave birth to twins at 18 is not proof of this. Inuyasha takes place in the feudal era where a girl under 18 is seen as an adult. Essentially, Sesshomaru simply fell in love with Rin as she grew up. And he came to see her from time to time from the moment he left it with Kaede as a child. He was not responsible for her education. That was Kaede. He wasn't her father figure either, that was Jaken.
And Hades and Persephone must be read in the context of the time when the myth was written, otherwise you lose its true meaning. I have already reblogged excellent analyzes on the subject, I invite you to go and see them. Hades, essentially, is not the true villain in this myth.
No. I don't support psychopathic serial killers. The proof, I hate Laurel. The real psychopathic serial killer. Tyler is a teenager who she manipulated and enslaved for her cause. Literally, Tyler is a hyde, implying a personality disorder, but more than that, canonically, he must obey and approve of what his master does. Tyler is a victim. Not a bad guy. Moreover, once again, a real case of grooming under the arms. Yes, Laurel groomed Tyler, I've written lots of articles on this subject, you can go and see them. But once again, ironically, no one talks about it, and what's more, the antis will try to say that Tyler groomed Wednesday by inventing a new age for him...

Persades-HenWill parallel
Alright alright, I feel like I should do a little post to point out all the similarities between those two ships and their tether.
To begin, it seems necessary to explain real quick what the myth of Hades and Persephone is, for the context:
“Hades was the brother of Zeus and the god of the underworld.
Persephone was the daughter of Zeus and Demeter, the Goddess of nature. Persephone is the goddess of nature and agriculture.
The myth of Hades and Persephone in Greek mythology is one of love and abduction.”
“Hades fell in love with Persephone and decided to kidnap her. The myth says that in one of the rare times he left the Underworld, he traveled above ground to pursue her, while she was gathering flowers in a field.
Persephone slipped beneath the Earth and Hades stole her to the Underworld where he made her his wife.”
“Demeter rushed back to where she had left her daughter and found only the Cyane river there with the other nymphs weeping. Worried as she was, she asked all as to the whereabouts of her beloved daughter.
Nobody could tell her anything at all and furious that they couldn’t protect her child […] Demeter went mad and hunted for her daughter everywhere.”
“Demeter, could not let it gone. She was furious and deeply believed that Hades, who after all had only dead people for company, was not the right husband for her sweet daughter. She also got angry at Zeus for not helping her rescue her daughter from Hades. To punish the gods that refused to help and to grief, Demeter decided to take a long and indefinite leave from her duties as the goddess of harvest and fertility, which lead to devastating consequences. The earth began to dry up, harvests failed, plants lost their fruitfulness, animals were dying for lack of food and famine spread to the whole earth.
The cries of the people who were suffering reached the Olympus and Zeus. He finally realized that if he wouldn't do something about Demeter’s wrath, all humanity would disappear. He had to find another solution to both calm Demeter and please Hades. He promised Demeter to restore Persephone to her if it can be proved that she is staying with Hades against her will. Otherwise, Persephone belongs to her husband.”
“In the meantime, Hades tried to convince her to eat all the seeds of a pomegranate. In ancient mythology, to eat the fruit of one’s captor meant that one would have to return to that captor or country. But Persephone only ate 6 seeds, meaning she would have to return to the underworld 6 months a year. […] To put an end on this quarrel, Zeus decided that Persephone would spend half months with her husband in Hades and half months with her mother on Olympus.
The myth of Hades and Persephone is associated with the cycle of the seasons. When Persephone is with Hades in the underworld, Demeter gets sad that her daughter is away, so the plants die, it’s the coming of autumn and winter. But when Persephone comes to the Earth, it’s springtime again”
Okay so, that was a lot! There’s a lot of variations, every version changes a bit but I tried to keep the basis simple and condense the elements.
But damn, it’s exactly the same thing that happened to Will, isn’t it?
Hades = Henry
Persephone = Will
Demeter = Joyce
Zeus and the other gods that refuses to help = Lonnie, Brenner, all the lab people that refused to help Joyce
So!
First of all, the upside down is really similar to hell/the Underworld. Two places that aren’t in the real world, hidden somewhere else with very restrained access to it (you can only go to the upside down through gates). Even the creatures there, demogorgon, demodogs can remind us of demons or even the dog protecting the gates of hell: Cerberus. Just like the demodogs protect the gates.
Even the way Persephone was taken, the Earth split open and it swallowed her underground. Exactly like a gate that would open up, a breech through time and space that brought Will into the upside down.
But what really interest me is our protagonists.
Hades/Henry and Persephone/Will.
Hades rips the ground open (gate) and picks Persephone. Exactly like what Henry did in season 1, kidnapping Will.
Like Hades, Henry is lonely and isolated. He’s an outcast, he has to rule over another world/dimension. All he want is someone by his side. He’s a destroyer, associated with death.
Persephone is sensitive, kind, beautiful. And has a very passionate platonic relationship with her mother, Demeter. Like Will and Joyce.
Once Persephone/Will gets taken, Demeter/Joyce does everything to get her back. She pleas and beseeches the gods to help her bring her daughter. Doesn’t that sound familiar to Joyce begging the police and the Hawkins lab/Brenner to do something and help her find her boy? And they do nothing, they’re willing to let him die there. Zeus, Persephone’s father doesn’t even care. Exactly like Lonnie.
(There is another theory I like, with a different version of the tale saying that Zeus made a deal with Hades that he could keep Persephone because all he wants is to rule. And Hades simply agreed, he let his brother have the entire control over the world and rule everything because all he wanted and all he needed was Persephone. Which reminds me of El and Henry. El put him there in the first place, then she opened the gate again and Will was taken. For as long as Will was there, with Henry, she could be in the normal world. She didn’t rule over it but she found friends, good, shelter, people to protect her, and she was in peace for as long as Henry had Will. It’s an interesting variation to it to see El as Zeus! But anyway!)
It doesn’t end there. Hades wants Persephone to eat the pomegranate to tie her and bound her to Hell with him forever. The Pomegranate symbolizing here, the tendril from season 1 and the mind flayer from season 2. As soon as the Pomegranate/Mind flayer enters Persephone/Will, they’re bound to it. Will got abilities, he got true sight but he was forever tied to Henry, he could always feel him.
The tendril from season 1 remains unknown. We still don’t know for sure what it did, but we know that from the moment he got back from the upside down, he was tied to it. He was doomed to always be back. He was part of the hive mind. The tendril could be like the pomegranate, making him part of this world, both were fed through the mouth. Will was “caught between the slides”, stuck between the upside down and the real world. And when the mind flayer entered him, he was bound to Henry forever.
Also, interesting how Will is a cleric, a healer, like Persephone who is associated with flower and nature.
Even more interesting how Will is taken in fall/winter in season 1, how season 2 pick up a year later so again in fall/winter. When Will is with Henry, whether it’s in the upside down physically or mentally, it’s like when Persephone has to go back with Hades. In season 3 it’s summer, they aren’t together, flower blooms the world is amazing. Then he moves away, and season 4 picks up in spring, where he’s safe and away from Henry. But at the end the flowers start to rot, Will feel Henry, the world is unbalanced. The spores can look like snowflakes, as if the season cycle was becoming more and more confused and messed up.
I’m very curious to know when will season 5 take place… if Will goes back to Henry, then it’s probably going to have fall/winter vibe.
Thank you so much @thorsylkius for helping me with this post🥹❤️
