Every time I see that machine in the True Lab, I wonder if it could possibly be Chara's soul in there? Probably unlikely, but not impossible... It's interesting to think about what the implications of that would be.

kingdom hearts gets such a bad rep for being overly complicated or hard to follow but its REALLY not that bad. ppl have to realise:

anyone who's like "theres SOO many games" and shows a too huge list is misleading. there are a lot of rereleases and repackages under special titles but when you look at the actual games it isnt that many

90% of disney involvement can be ignored, just think of it like "themes" for the different levels

that being said, it DOES operate on disney magic logic. epic and magical things happen because they just do. don't try to overthink the magic mechanics you'll frustrate yourself. (i think this is where most of the "it doesnt make sense" comes from)

there really isnt much retconning. i can only really think of one really minor one. sometimes the writing can be sloppy but this doesnt make it more difficult to understand unless u nitpick it

yeah it definitely CAN be complicated, theres a huge cast of characters and it takes place over a long period of time, but it isnt impossible to follow, just pay attention and its fine

Have you ever read through a TTRPG that combines its setting and rules in a way you find really neat but you literally can't talk about it with anyone because anything more than a cursory overview will make having that person play the game impossible from the meta knowledge they will now have?

I like to imagine that Chujin keeping his soul out of the body wasn't the painful part, but rather the rejection. Every time he did it, and Integrity rejected him his soul degraded, so I like to think when he first started doing it was a mild irritation at best and probably had no adverse effects as well as being closer to absorbing Integrity, because he was at his healthiest, but as he did it more and more it became more painful and difficult to pull of it because his health was due to Integrity's impurity.

ive always just thought it prolly hurts to have the fundemental part of yourself just kinda hanging out outside your body but this too ! it probably did just slowly slowly wear him and his soul down because you know. typically absorbing human souls is kinda. not something you should do. yknow. whoopsy.

But yeah, me and @saltynsassy31 have been OBSESSED with splatoon 3, and especially the salmon runs, we've lost our ranks while playing with friends with different ranks (and u know how that goes), and now wanna get them back up again. And for this round, before we were even depatched from the plane, 1 player disconnected, leaving only me, her and another dude

And guess what? On the first round, we got a goddamn glowflies event 💀💀

But by pure luck, we actually survived that round, but only bc after me and the other player died, salty got targeted, and exactly that moment, the 1st wave was over
