so i have to attend a national sales conference next month and because it's a BIG EVENT for the company, they're making us attend meetings on how to dress/talk appropriately etc in case you meet some bigwigs or even the CEO of the North American division

These past few days I’ve had that feeling when the little bully in your head starts convincing you that your friends hate you and would rather be anywhere but with you. That feeling where you think no one loves you and you’re all alone in the world.

These are all of my current ratty companions! I love them so much it hurts.

Rats are often mistaken for dirty yucky creatures but in reality they are scientifically proven to have the ability to feel real empathy and regret just like most of us humans. If you treat them with love and respect you will find a better companion in a rat then most people are!

The only complaint I have is that they grow old so quickly and only have a life span of about 2- 3 years

Rats are very social creatures and are happy to see you come home from work each day for snuggles, snack sharing and tickles!

Rats are curious, smart, soft and squishy lovey babies that need love just like any one else!

I’m a day late with my national rat day post but here you go!

LETS SHOW THEM THE LOVE EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR.

Cleaned my bathroom, just have to mop the floor n clean off the windowsill! Featuring my healthiest Adansonii, a struggling calathea network(calatheas hate me), and a pearls n jade pothos! Oh and some philo and neon pothos cuttings. Pretty sure that neon doesn't have a node so I'm just nurturing a zombie I guess.

My particular expressions of autism make it really hard for me to clean, especially places like bathrooms and kitchens, so I'm really proud of myself for getting this done, even though my hands are trembling from suppressed revulsion. Basically the entire bathroom(all bathrooms) are realms of BAD TEXTURE(tm) and I tend to have panic attacks if my bare skin touches even the floor of the shower(I wear flipflops) so this was really...really challenging for me. Aaaah my fingertips are tingling. I wore gloves but still! Augh! Huzzah gloves though cuz there's no friggin way I could have done any of this without them. Ok I gotta stop thinking about it or I'm gonna start twitching

It looks like I'm snowed in for Christmas!

The kittens are loving it, and I've just spent the last several days unpacking my garage. So now I'm going to spend my snow days on my ass.

Except, I don't know what I want to do! Do I want to play a video game or do I want to make a craft!? I can make a fursuit. I can make ears. I can make accessories, stuffed animals, I just printed out some sheets for a costume...

But I could also play final fantasy, God of War Ragnarok, or melt into the dead cells DLC and wake up sometime around New Year's.

it will never be fair for anyone to ever have any kind of non platonic relationship with me because i cannot in good faith offer much beyond that. and that sucks. it’s all well and good to act like that’s fine, but it’s kind of not. most people have needs. even if they’re by some miracle cool with the intimacy part, people still want other affection, and i honestly don’t think i’m capable of providing that. i don’t *know* that. i’ve never been in that position. but it’s kinda sad to think about the potential of ever even trying only for it to be a bad time and haha whoops just kidding turns out i can’t provide that either.
