THE BIRB MAN IS HERE!!

Okay so, a couple months back, I decided to commission a plush of Ansel Beauregard from “Arlo the Alligator Boy” (specifically in a Chibi sort of style since I thought it’d look cute - and it does! ^v^) from the amazing plush artist known as Michael K. AKA mdkarydas.

I had already commissioned him a couple years back to make me a White Pantera plush (as seen in the second photo) so I knew he was gonna do a great job and I was absolutely right! ^v^

The Ansel plush he made me is not only super detailed and design-accurate but also extremely soft and super huggable (seriously I cannot get over how huggable he is omg) and just exactly what I wanted!

Michael has a real talent for making super high quality plushies (specifically OC and animated movie/cartoon-based plushies) so if you’ve got a character you want plushie-fied, he’s your guy. His commissions are seriously worth every penny! ^v^ you can find him on Twitter (mdkarydas) or on Reddit/instagram (MichaelKToymaker) if you wanna see more of his work/ask about commissions.

I am looking back over my fandom history this morning and I have discerned the following timeline:

I joined tumblr on April 24, 2013. At that time I was here primarily for Sherlock content. I don't think I'd ever heard of Supernatural, or if I had, I'd never considered watching it.

I made my first reblog of Supernatural content on May 22, 2013. I began watching the show around that time as well. (It was going to be my trashy, fluffy, forgettable show that I could watch when the kids are at school and I'm bored.)

I read my first destiel fanfic on AO3 on June 10, 2013

Art Summary 2023

Now that it's 2024.

This year has been probably one of the most in terms of growth ever since I was in university and attended art school in the evenings. It's been a difficult year, and horribly unproductive for my original projects, BUT! New friends, new things and look, I can colour now in a way that doesn't make me scrunch my nose. These are few of my favourite works in terms of quality and in how much fun I had when doing them.

Plus nasty face reveal don't mind the "deer in frontlights" expression I'm not comfortable on that side of the camera, but I'm actually threee seagulls in a trenchcoat and they aren't that good at impersonating a human.

Thank you to everyone who's here, old and new, it's been a pleasure and I hope it's been nice having me around for you too. . <3

I was playing Tears of the Kingdom and am trying to avoid gameplay spoilers, but I couldn't find any Hearty Durians in the Faron region. So I'm like "Maybe they're in caves now, like the truffles!" So I spent two hours combing the Faron rainforest for caves and for Hearty Durians. But I turned up empty constantly so I decided to look it up real quick online and Nintendo just deadass removed them. The Durians have all been blipped. Zero explanation. They're gone. I spent two hours of gameplay today looking in Faron rainforest hell to find fucking Durians. And Nintendo just deleted them.

I'm not angry at the game, I'm actually just in awe of myself. I know what happens plot-wise, I'm on the Internet. I wanted to avoid gameplay spoilers. And I spent two hours looking for something that I could've just googled the answer to. But I wanted to avoid gameplay spoilers. This is the person that I am. This is how my brain is wired and programmed. I am an adult. I want to jump off a cliff.

I decided to wear my daily contacts the other day.

I put on the right one first. There seems to be a problem, vision is blurry, motion is slow.

I ignore it and I put on the left one. It’s fine.

The problem in the right eye continues. I decide to reapply so I try to pinch out the contact.

It hurts like hell. There’s no alternative however, so I just try to get it out. A lot of pain every time.

Panic attack on the corner because this smells like unexpected hospital visit.

I keep pinching for several minutes in what seems like self-torment.

After too much time I start thinking about it. Why can’t I get the contact? Is it cut? It looked fine when I put it in the eye. Has it gone to the edge of the eye? I look hard at the mirror. It doesn’t seem like it. I drag my finger on my eye trying to drag the contact lense on the edge so I can grab it easier. THE PAIN.

And then… hold on, even if the contact is applied poorly, why is my vision so horrible? It’s not that it stings, the vision is horrible.

And… true enough, why does it not sting except when I pinch for the contact?

I look down at the sink. A blue silicone disc lying there.

You guessed it… for a whole thirty minutes I was pinching my bare eyeball
