Do I need to like something for it to enrich me ? Some of the most important references in my work, I’ve noticed, aren’t necessarily the things that impacted me or that I loved the most

Its quite hard to convey and I hope I can find the energy to develop this someday , its quite likely.. as the idea of “good/bad” in art is a recurring thought and topic of questioning

But either way I am grateful for all that brought me to a deeper knowing and exploration.. Even the things I have despised with passion, as much as those that have left me indifferent

But at least these folks are keeping it consistent with their pearl clutching over fictional characters.

Then you’ve got the girlies who over night appear to have discovered that trash goblin characters can be fun, and playing around with them is not a test of morals or a personal statement on what you do or do not sanction in real life. Swiveling between the urge to wife him and see him chained up to a bed and dominated. So tempted to ask how those anti-Billy tags look in the rear view, but everyone grows at their own pace. 😂

One of these days there may be a definitive answer to the question "how many children does Soundwave (the one who married my sister) actually have?"

There's a betting pool running not just on the actual number, but also on whether or not we will know the final and accurate count during his actual lifetime.

So I jumped late into this tweet and apparently someone created an AI cover of a song using Benjamin's and Roger's voice??

Yeah, needless to say Roger wasn't exactly thrilled to hear that his voice was being used without his authorization and honestly I don't blame him for being mad.

There was another issue with voice actor Erica Lindbeck in which she faced a similar situation and she was none too pleased either. Things got ugly to the point that she closed her Twitter account because people were harassing her.... for defending her own work.

Idk what these people are expecting, you take someone's assets (in this case, their voice), you use it to make new content without their authorization, and they think they're going to get a standing ovation? Even if it's just "for the lulz"? 🤦🤦‍♀️🙄 It is one thing to take preexisting material and make content from it, for example, all the sexy "you're alright girl" edits I see on Tiktok, because that particular line is something that Roger already did himself. But if people were taking AI to make brand new sexy Arthur/Roger recordings, without him knowing or authorizing them... Yeah, I can't picture Roger (or any other artist, really) being all too thrilled about it. Even if it's "for the lulz" 😒

Recently I have had to come to terms with how nothing I do can changes things on a large enough scale to mean anything.

Even if I were to try to defend myself, there is nothing I can do to ever change the current past. I hence think that if we don't see the flaws in ourselves then a lot of damage can be done but no necessarily so. I have seen people use the word 'narcissist' to describe people as if they were to say vain instead yet I know how wrong it is for people to glance over facts including that people diagnosed with NPD can be good people if they are able to realize their own mistakes. Many people have been unintentionally vilifying people with NPD, so it comes as disrespectful. I think that a person with NPD would likely be more self-aware to be able to avoid things that someone without would be less likely to. Since one of the core aspects of NPD is lack of empathy/sympathy, this can make feeling sorry to a person for one's own actions harder so the current expectation of people having to be sorry for the person harder to achieve.

A lot of people are blissfully unaware of how their own empathy/sympathy affects others. Let's say someone did something wrong to another person, such as manipulated them for clout. Often people will have no sympathy/empathy for the person who manipulated the other but that does not mean that the manipulator is a bad person because of it though it would be harder for them to avoid this bad action in the future due to not feeling sympathy/empathy for both the victim and the person angered at them which is usually someone of a third party. Again it is hard to stop a bad action in the future due to not feeling the required empathy/sympathy for the other people involved so they are more likely to cater to the people who already like them. Which is not that different from the other people to do as in certain situation the people may display these symptoms.

I believe recovery is possible yet tricky as it is not always as black and white as it is made out to be, even people who are neurotypical fall into this line of thinking without realizing it as a lot can understand how the other might rationalize their behaviour. Often people use words only meant with one meaning to describe someone they dislike, I have heard people use Monster to describe the person of choice which ends up dehumanizing the person then they usually support other bad behaviour towards the person of choice which does not end up fixing the issue and instead can be utilized against people who are not in the situation as a point of reference. Using these words as catchphrases to describe something else entirely but you are suppose to get that it implies that they are like the person of choice.
