It's alright, you're not overstepping any boundaries but you're kind to be wary. I just don't want to be a resident oversharer!

He's ok now thank you. I asked him if the people living in my computer would be alright knowing what happened and he said yes. He had another spontaneous pneumothorax, but this is well after the pleurodeses he had on both of his lungs so it was rather scary. The previous three he needed chest tubes, so I was freaking the fuck out (probably more than him), because with that came a lot of other stuff that happened which was terrible and awful that I'd rather not go into.

Touch wood he's ok, it's just that when you have one you're more likely to have another, so we're on high alert. It had been a few years so we thought we were ok (it actually happened the first time right after we started going out).

the way mania haters talk about mania is so funny they're like "this album almost KILLED fall out boy's CAREER this album lost them SO MUCH MONEY mania FLOPPED everyone HATED it" they talk about it like fob had to sell their kidneys to keep touring on the thing. like. mania? the album that debuted at number one? the album with last of the real ones on it, the song that fans loved so much that they got it certified gold despite the label doing absolutely nothing to support it or push it for radio in the slightest? the album that got fall out boy a grammy nomination? that album? you can call it polarizing if you want but you can't say it didn't do a hell of a lot for an album that had a first single with such an eclectic reception

The amount of misinformation surrounding nutrition is absolutely absurd. If you ask the average person who thinks they know a lot about nutrition, they'll likely have less than 0 understanding of how it works. If you ever have a question about nutrition or exercise, I genuinely cannot recommend Renaissance Periodization enough. The only way information gets put out is if a consideration of ALL the scientific literature is considered, and I have literally never seen them put out any bad info. I've seen Dr. Mike recommend people not buy his powerlifting training templates because he thought juggernaut.ai was better. I have never seen a more honest source of information coming out of the industry. Even people who are similarly respected end up plugging bullshit supplements or, at the very least, will NOT tell you if a competitor is a better source of information. If you ever, for any reason, find yourself thinking you know something about nutrition and that understanding guides how you eat or train, PLEASE look up an RP video on the topic. (they are also an extremely good source of info for bodybuilding and strength building (and yes, bodybuilders are very strong, and anyone who tells you they're show muscles and not practical muscles are 99/100 times weaker than even amateur bodybuilders))

going to try to practice wheelchair skills more this week also bc there's a lot of wheelchair skills that i rly need in order to be able to better navigate protests with a lot of cops + increased repression. would love to try to meet up with some other disabled people to do some skillsharing about protest tactics while using mobility aids and think some stuff through and get some tips and brainstorm some stuff together. idk i will think about that and try to make that happen perhaps

I DIDNT SEE THIS EARLIER HI. ok so well first u would not believeeee how many people argue abt this topic online 😭 second: they havent said specifically what labels they use but they said theyve "always preferred he/they" and that "ppl can use whatever i dont really have a preference" and apparently dressed as a girl during high school and college & theyve talked abt gender and stuff and how they wouldve gone 2 a gender therapist of they couldve at the time. and in hit unreleased song everybody hates the eagles which they workshopped onstage over several shows (insane thing that happened And i watched this on instagram live. insane. bonkers.) they called themself a girl so. theyve not like Officially publicly labeled themself as nonbinary or gnc or trans but at this point i think its a little silly when ppl get mad at each other online for saying theyre probably under the trans umbrella
