I got some expressions done to figure out these weird facial proportions and so that I can draw really unflattering angles. I've been drawing these two for the last year with no real thoughts on clothing, hair or accessories. Ebony needed the most reworking and her role has changed a little so she's less travel-ready. I'll need to design her more outfits. I've also updated Razor's knives and some minor accessories used here, but there is a separate high render prop sheet.

Ebony's necklace acts as a regulator for her power and Razor's 2 energy takes are dependent on whether he's in control of it or not. I also think he has tapetum lucidum because of the pupils, but it does affect his sight and abilities during the day which is why he prefers to work in the dark. His other senses perform a lot better to compensate.

Totally planning on animating them more for fun. Getting close!

I captured these photos at a traditional carnival ("Fašnik") in Baranja, Eastern Croatia. It is a centuries-old tradition and is still cherished today. There are several legends about "buše." One legend says that the "buše" (people in costumes) drove the Turks from this area with their noise and clamor. In contrast, according to another legend, the "buše" chased winter away. The event lasts for several days. A large parade is organized that goes through the village. People are lighting a fire in the streets, and at the end of the event, people burn a giant knitted sculpture. In some countries known as a "Wickerman." - Carnival riding ("Pokladno jahanje") has its roots in the time of the Military Frontier. It is an event where we can see horse riders dressed in traditional attire. Carnival riding is traditionally held in Slavonia, Baranja, and Srijem. The' event's goal is to preserve the tradition and love for horses, without which the life of the inhabitants of this area couldn't have been imagined. Graded Unit: Portrait IV (Roisin)

Studio editorial photoshoot with the Clean White technique, shot and conducted in the College photography studio with model Roisin Hodge posing in frame, wearing a teal coloured Shein designer dress, with white Boohoo high heels. MUA Ciara Johnston applied Roisin’s hair and makeup for this shoot. This shoot took place on Monday, May 22nd 2023.

Roisin also posed with small jars of the skin care brand, Estee Lauder, partially turning our photoshoot into an promotional advertising shoot to promote Estee Lauder skin cream.

My final images were optimised, edited retouched and colour corrected via Photoshop. The colour look-up mask layer setting was applied to the images, using the filmstock_50.3 setting with a Saturation blending mode setting applied.

Originally, this shoot was just to help out Ciara for her personal project. But the images and shoot were so successfully shot, I decided to include a few of these images into my own project.

Just before going on holiday, I was able to make a little drawing for the season. Presenting offerings for the spirits before them, Ebony tries to maintain traditions from her family while Razor silently participates. He doesn't have a connection to this practice.

I haven't really figured out this part of the world building for the characters and I'm not entirely sure if it's important to have it all written down except for key areas that affect the story. I wanted something warm and dark, like how it feels to have soft lights in a dark room. It's usually a place where I like to do either creative writing or drawing.
