You can never go wrong with investing in education. How else can you get better? Yea ok, just doing it and getting experience. We’ll I believe you need both. 📚 This past weekend, @felix_sbty and @joaquinfitsax went to a 2 day conference to get a “Pain-Free Performance Specialist Certification.” 🏋️‍♀️ We believe that when you combine book learning with actual practice/ performance, you become better at that subject. 💯 We are proud to bring this certification back to Elite and help all our clients live a better life. If you are older (40+) or have an injury, you must get your body in alignment before you start to seriously workout. Otherwise you will develop pain somewhere and then stop working out. Jump Attack training programme - Upper body isometric holds This part of the training is focused on maintaining strength in your muscle contraction over a period of time Holds include: Push up Pull up (the one I least enjoy) Shoulder press (not shown) Bicep curls (not fun) Tricep push-up (1 second feels like 10 seconds) Frog plank Side plank Importantly this programme schedules in rest, which, if you're giving your all with every exercise, is seriously needed to recover Week 1 each hold was for 30 seconds Week 2 (which I'm on now) each hold lasts 60 seconds...
