we need more of the 'Jews and Arabs refuse to be enemies' energy that they have at Standing Together protests, I'm endlessly frustrated by the growing anti-Arab sentiment and islamophobia coming in response to the horrific increase in antisemitism, it is never acceptable to treat people that way all it's doing is playing into the current anti-Jewish narrative and making things worse for everyone

This is controversial but if you're celebrating the lack of pride merch this year compared to other years, you're celebrating the genocide of trans people which is making public support for queer people a "bad" thing.

As many others have said, corporate pride merch is a barometer of how strong the public support for the queer community is. It going away, in this sociopolitical climate, is not an indicator that we're normalized to a point it is no longer needed, it going away is a sign of how dire things are for us, especially for the trans community.
