Twins. That's Arnold on the left and Danny on the right. Hold on. My spousal unit says that's Romulas on the left and Remus on the right, although I thought Remus had passed away. Maybe it's an old photograph.

Peruvian Lily
Peruvian lily plants (Alstroemeria), also known as Lily of the Incas, are striking late spring or early summer, half-hardy perennial bloomers that are available in a myriad of colors including pink, white, orange, purple, red, yellow and salmon. These flowers resemble azaleas and make a beautiful addition to an indoor bouquet. Keep reading to learn more about how to plant a Peruvian lily in the garden. (photo by D.Scott Lee)

Peruvian lilies partying like there's no South American any more. You'd think it was all just Gondwana out there.

Alstroemeria (Peruvian lily)
Peruvian lilies are native to South America with two main centers of diversity, one in central Chile (which tend to be winter-growing) and another in eastern Brazil (which tend to be summer-growing). These two types were crossed in the 1980s to develop the 200+ (and counting) modern cultivars. Peruvian lilies like a well-drained soil and a sunny spot, and this lucky specimen was growing on a hillside with a view of the Pacific Ocean. They’ve become important in the cut flower industry because they stay fresh in water for up to two weeks without wilting. As you may have noticed, Peruvian lilies are used extensively in bridal bouquets.
