This is Roger. Roger lives in the bottom of Willow's enclosure. He tested her enclosure before her arrival, to make sure it was safe for her. He comes out often and hangs out on the plant, but usually can be found under his leaf. I thought he might get eaten, but Willow doesn't seem interested, so he's just been a cute roommate for months now.

Apologies for how hard it is to see but that yellowish area is actually a lil brood pouch, called a marsupium, where she's got a bunch of eggs! They form it by overlapping a group of flexible appendage flaps called oostegites, rather than having an actual pouch. After they hatch, she'll carry the young on her belly for a little while!
