What do you do if your company is withholding your raise/back pay for a bullshit excuse ("the software that does that is broken") but you have no employee handbook, no chain of command, and the corporate number you found after 30 minutes of googling only goes to voicemail?

85 days after I was due for a $1/hr raise, they gave me half of it, without any back pay for the pay periods when the raise should have been in place. What do I do?

I've talked to my boss many times, and he says he's talked to his boss, but a 50¢ raise after 85 days of near-constant questioning? Not enough.

Pet Supplies Plus is stealing wages from their lowest-level employees and I don't know what to do.

yo why is it so hard to find good bedding for mice

#im working on setting up my cage so i can get pet mice (hopefully 2-3 girls)#and one of the things i still need is bedding #im looking for aspen shavings specificaly since i heard cedar and pine can be unsafe for mice (delicate respiratory systems)#and paper based bedding can be expensive for small amounts #and i just cant find any hemp bedding in the us #im looking at apsen bedding aimed at horses for a mega cost effective bedding but #i wanna make sure it's a brand that mouse owners have confirmed is safe for mice #i heard horses have delicate respiratory systems too (and that their owners treat them like delicate little princesses)#so im assuming dust extracted and kiln dried horse bedding will be fine #but i wanna do more research first #apparently you can get 7 cu. ft at tractor supply co for like $7.50 #or like $14 for the stuff aimed at small pets in smaller quantities (like 5 cu. ft)#i just cant seem to figure out if the brands they sell are actually safe #like some small pet bedding can be really dusty and awful bc it's cheaply made bc rodents are seen as like #'easy' 'starter' basically disposable pets #(can literally get mice for like $6 at a chain petstore)#(do NOT do that. do NOT support chain petstores selling live animals. plus the mice will probably be pregnant and sick so do NOT)#anyway ive been looking at bedding too long #i just wanna spoil my mice and have them be the most pampered and well cared for animals in the world
