Can you do a tyrion short where y/n and meet in winterfell after he found out he was to marry her and he talks to her about how he will be a good husband. And he finds out that she was the one that requested she marry him ?
You Were My Choice
Tumblr media
Tyrion was stunned when he got the news from Lord Stark that he was to be wed off to one of his daughters. The eldest behind Robb and was more like her brothers and Arya then her middle sister Sansa. He eventually found her room after getting lost in some of the halls of the Northern castle where he softly knocked three times before someone opened the door making him at a loss for words for a few seconds. I paused in the doorway staring at the tiny dwarf standing before me. “Lord Tyrion, I didn’t expect you to come find me so quickly. I was just going to come down to the feast for the king.” He nodded gesturing his hand in between us clearly struggling to say what words next. Across the kingdom he was known for always knowing what to say. “My lady I - uh thought it would be better if we met first. Since we are to be wed and most don’t meet until that night. I didn’t want that…”
“I didn’t want that either Tyrion. But there’s something I want to tell you too.” I smiled taking his hand in mine leading him onto my bed pulling him to sit down beside me. The ends of my dress lifted up revealing the horse riding boots that I always wore rather than any tight dress shoes like my sister. Putting my hands together in my lap my eyes staring into his green ones. His curly blonde hair a mess on his head. “Well I have something to tell you first lady Y/n. I know that I couldn’t have been your first choice for a husband. But we will be married regardless. I want you to know as your husband I won’t force you to do anything you don’t want to, I will be an equal to you and not overstep my bonds. Even I am not the husband of your choice I’ll treat you with respect.” I giggled seeing him raise his brows not expecting to see me smiling at him this way.
The rumors that I heard were that he loved wine and girls. He was viewed as a little beast by most people because of his size except to me. I wasn’t into men that focused on their looks. A person’s mind can do much more damage and mean so much more. “Forgive me lady Y/n. But I don’t understand what is amusing about what I am saying.” Grabbing his hands in mine I tilted my head with a bright grin. “You said that you wouldn’t be someone’s first choice. You are wrong Tyrion. I asked my father if I could marry you. Because I don’t believe all the bad tales about you. I choose to lisen to the good ones.” Tyrion smiled squeezing my hands intertwined with his. “I’d choose you any day Y/n.”
Comments really appreciated ❤️

having serious tbosas brainrot so here's a list of things that were in the books that i wish the movie showed: (spoilers below)
how far tigris was willing to go to protect coriolanus. in the books it implied she was willing to sell her body to keep him fed (also i cant even begin to imagine her reaction to seeing Snow selling desirable victors to captiol citizens when she herself as a child wanted to resort to prostitution to put food on the table FOR HIM.)
how insane dr gaul was in the books. iirc she didnt warn clemensia about the snakes and lied that they were harmless
clemensia being gone for weeks and her parents not questioning it bc gaul said it was a flu + clemensia COMING BACK all covered in scars/scales and no one questioning what happened to her (seriously the grip gaul had within the capital was INSANE)
how awful highbottom and gaul were in the books. i absolutely loathed them when i read tbosas whereas they weren't as bad in the movies (though that might be bc i love viola davis and peter dinklage)
how much coriolanus' mother meant to him (they talked about it a bit in the movie but i wish they showed him smelling her compact when he was upset/stressed)
the extent of how coriolanus manipulated both his classmates AND sejanus' parents
also how sejanus' ma always made sure coriolanus was fed when he went over to the plinth's home and how she sent them sweets and pastries when they were sent to 12
sejanus asking coriolanus to switch tributes with him because he thought coriolanus would be able to get through to marcus/better his odds
coriolanus suggesting they use the mockingjays as target practice
in the books sejanus always calls coriolanus by his given name "coriolanus" and he only calls him coryo after his stint in the arena (to which coryo wanted to strangle him for trying the family nickname at that moment)
(edited for the last three bullet points)

So was it any good? tbosas I mean
Well,,,,,,,,, kind of? I had fun, but also went in knowing they won't pay attention to what I loved about the book so my expectations were properly low. TBOSAS is my fav THG book so a different adaptation exists in my head
Non-spoilery: The movie is divided in parts like the book, but there is no rhyme or reason why, no dramatic breaks or changes like in the books. The Reaping isn't on July 4th because of course. Tom Blyth as Coriolanus was a surprise because I expected nothing from him other than looking sort of like old Snow. The movie naturally removed any and all nuance from his character and kept spelling out everything, but there were a few scenes where they let him yknow, act out how his character is supposed to feel, and it was really good! Rachel Zegler as Lucy Gray was more of a mixed bag - sometimes she was fantastic in selling the over-the-top dramatic flare, but other times (especially towards the beginning) it was just weird. I firmly believe this is because the movie didn't fully commit to Lucy Gray as a charming crowd director who keeps her heart hidden and instead made her a more honestly vulnerable girl. She dazzled in musical numbers, though, that girl is a performer through and through! Viola Davis was bad I am so sorry but I felt like I was watching a Disney Channel performance and it's entirely the movie's fault and not hers. Peter Dinklage was super good as Dean Highbottom, he makes him all sad and lost without being over-the-top. The rest of the cast was also good. I loved the sets and the costumes, very in-line with what I'd imagined. The night/dark scenes were so dark that subtitles felt like they were burning into my eyes, it was the absolute worst quality dark scenes I've ever seen in a big movie.
Spoilery:
They removed Coriolanus' obsessive love for Lucy Gray and turned it sooo muted :(((( He didn't even want to kiss her before the Games! He didn't try to control her or feel jealousy or ANYTHING that could imply he might turn on her one day!! His emotional changes and impatience and politeness and selfish kindness are also all gone now. Sejanus and he aren't nearly as close as in the book, but there was this funny moment where the two of them had a more intense forehead touch moment than any Coriolanus shared with Lucy Gray and it made me chuckle. Tigris and Coriolanus were very very well done, I loved how she was always his first bestie!!! But I am sort of annoyed they turned it from "Tigris puts Coriolanus down for the way he treats others" to "Tigris is scared Coriolanus will become his dad". Lucy Gray's Reaping was absolutely horrible, she threw a singing fit instead of being a confident performer, so it makes no sense that she just flips a switch into untouchable after. Loved the snake charmer climax where everyone stands up for Lucy Gray and proves that Capitol needs a victor! It worked better for the movie than the book version, and the way the music exists as a meta instrumental scene where the score eventually catches up to her singing - THAT is how ALL her songs should have been treated!!! The way music worked was one of my biggest issues, sometimes they were totally off tonally from what their role was in the books (The Ballad of Lucy Gray Baird this is about YOU Maiah Wynne's version makes me sob to this day while the movie version is only saved by Rachel's passion) and only the snake song was properly utilized as a plot point. They were such good opportunities for exposition that is more subtle than just putting whatever is Coriolanus feeling in clunky dialogue. And the clunky dialogue WAS constantly used to make up for the amount of internal monologues, even if it made zero sense -at the end they literally had Lucy Gray say "Haha if you destroyed the guns and killed me you could go to District 2 no sweat hahahaha anyway I'll go get some potatoes bye" like what. In what world would she literally tell him that. She is supposed to be a smart survivor. They also put "it's things we love most" quote as the final line in the movie, and I can't describe what a stupid choice that was, because if it wasn't there the movie would go "Highbottom tells Coriolanus he won't be able to forget Lucy Gray-> Coriolanus' proud exit where he believes to be the victor as snow falls down -> Can't Catch Me Now end credits including the snow motif", which would have been SO much stronger since that song delivers the "Lucy Gray eventually caught up to Coriolanus" message and we don't get it spelled out like we're 5 years old. It's not the only part of the movie where references to the OG stick out like a sore thumb, and I am once again asking Why. Why don't you think your audience is smart enough to understand.

What are your thoughts on Peter Dinklage? I mean I think it’s very cool he’s a little person who’s really come into the spotlight and been so respected for his work. Don’t like that scene in Elf (which I don’t like as a whole in general) where he’s more or less made fun of for his size. Can’t imagine how bad that scene must feel to someone like you. (You’re really cool too btw. :) )
Hello! Dinklage's more recent roles have certainly sparked conversation regarding the LP community, but like most Little actors his career has not been without some degrading roles. His role in Elf certainly comes to mind, as well as the terrible 2002 Tip Toes. It really hasn't been until recent years that Little actors have had the opportunity to play anything other than laughing stocks, as freak show culture from the 80s and earlier still lingers in our media.
-Even my favourite Little actor, Warwick Davis (of Willow fame), has stared in films like A Very Unlucky Leprechaun 1998 in his early years.
I'm mixed on my feelings regarding the early career of most Little actors. Some folks see it as any marginalized actor "paying their dues" or getting their foot in the door in order to then be offered better roles, others argue that regardless of the time, marginalized actors have a duty to their community to participate in positive representation.
I think my own determining factor for a positively representational Little actor is the direction they've chosen to take in their recent years (Majorly not a fan of Verne Troyer). I look forward to seeing what roles Peter Dinklage chooses going forward!

https://twitter.com/i/status/1749260452117315934 saw this making the rounds again on twitter and immediately had to bookmark it. Really struck by him comforting her can't imagine J doing the same thing publically based on how he's acted before. It's the strangest thing usually I would explain it away by saying he likes to be private but I've said it before here, if he wanted to be private why does he let her post him all up and down her instagram/twitter etc.
Wow - that clip is horrific to me.
R is very emotional and cried a lot during the promo tour and every time J is frozen and T has to set in and comfort her.
I get that Peter Dinklage was between R and J but J easily could have said excuse me and went to his gf. Even H expressed concern but J looked indifferent to seeing R’s passionate tears.
The sad part is if T and J switched standing positions, J still would not have comforted her even if he was standing next to her. Very sad to witness. Thank goodness for T’s presence. Poor R.

Thoughts/ questions I have about tbosas and someone who has not read the book but plans to eventually:
The only thing that I knew about the book is that snow is straight up evil and that Lucy gray escapes at the end btw
Snow is not as evil in the movie? Like his story feels like a decent guy's descent into villainy. Like you can tell that originally he does not care about Lucy and just wants the prize money but he does end up truly loving her. But from what I hear from book readers that's not the case?
Sejanus and snow have close/initmate moments together? I'm usually not a fan of just throwing 2 random white dudes into a ship together because 9 times out of 10 its boring as hell. But they did have some moments where I genuinely thought they were gonna kiss? Also it seems like they have a genuine friendship here that I would like to be explored a bit more. Especially bc they're ideologies going against each other is interesting. But from what I hear from book readers: snow cannot stand sejanus' ass
Marcus and sejanus relationship? Like we're told that they were friends in district 2 and sejanus is obviously upset when Marcus dies but I do feel like the context of who they are is missing? Like it feels like it should be a bigger point and not just something explained in 2 or 3 sentences
Lucy Gray's singing randomly? Okay so I wouldn't say that it's random. It's clear that she's a performer in her district and it's apart of her culture as being from the Covey. And i guess she sings whenever she's expressing big emotions like when she's being reaped or when she thinks she's about to die. But I do feel like we got a little more backstory to her character outside of a few lines
Also I wish we got to see a bit more from the tributes for the games. I don't even remember their names but I know they're faces and I only know that the cape guy and the sick girl are from district 11 bc that's where it seems like there's a majority black population in the movies
The guns in the shed. Did Lucy gray plant them there herself or were they already there? Bc the way she acts about seeing the guns is very... casual? Like she's not surprised or anything that they're there. What was that about?
Snow's little meltdown at the end? I am not surprised that he reacted that way but did he actually see Lucy gray and shoot her or is that just like... him imagining her? But then we do see footprints of her escaping so like?? Idk I'm a little confused about that part ngl
Snow's transformation into his dad? When tigirs says "you look like your father" to snow at the end it doesn't hit me the way that it should? Like obviously he's gonna turn evil at the end and stuff but we don't really know who his father actually was until the ending
Peter dinklages revelation? We can infer that snows dad was an evil person bc peter dinklage character mentioned that he himself thought of the games when he was drunk and snow's dad took the credit for it. Which is fine but I wish we got to know more about snow's dad and what the homework assignment actually was? Was it like what snow had to do when trying to help make the hunger games better? Did the government genuinely ask some random 18 year Olds how to punish people for making an uprising?

Okay SO I wasn't sure if you'd ever watched any House, M.D. - I myself have not, but am now convinced I should change that - ergo: Peter Dinklage in House.
I promise you that this works even better than you may be imagining. He is clearly House's one (1) med school buddy, Victor Trevor to House's Holmes. They traded one-liners over beers and were part of the same jazz group. I don't know yet what narrative work is required to get him back on the show -- he wants House to consult with him on a patient? he has become a patient himself? -- but in any case, I think it is because there is one (1) man he trusts not to bullshit him. Maybe, tying in loosely with the tea plantations of Terai, he's been working with Médecins Sans Frontières.
It's been years since I watched this show and now I'm emotionally invested in an episode that doesn't exist, help.

I was woundering if could do a tyrion lannister short were there just newly wed and y/n bother is makeing a Speech about how his y/n is a trader to the family for agreeing to marry Tyrion
Could you also use this gif
Tumblr media
Traitor to the Stark’s
Staring at myself in the mirror I brushed my hands over my dress I was so nervous. I was even more nervous than I was the day of my arranged marriage a few months ago. The chamber door opened and my husband Tyrion came in seeing that I hadn’t moved when he came to check on me once he was ready. “Y/n, my darling wife is everything okay?”
“I’m more nervous than I ever been in my whole life. Tyrion, I know I shouldn’t be since we are back in my childhood home. But…everything feels different now.” Running my hands through my straight hair I sighed heavily.
Tyrion moved away from the door taking my hands in his meeting my gaze when I was looking down at him. “You have absolutely nothing to fear dear wife. For it is I who should be more worried than you. Since this is the first time I shall be presented as your husband.”
“Tyrion, you have only ever been so kind and gentle to me. If my parents can’t see past the Lannister name then they are fools. I’ll be there for you.” Squeezing his hand in mine he let me lead him through the hallway since I knew the castle better than he did even though I hadn’t been there in a few months. We entered the great hall seeing my mother and father Lord and Lady Stark waiting with my twin brother Robb watching to,learn the duties if a Lord one day.
My father got to his feet bowing to greet us both with a smile on his face seeing me again. “Lord Tyrion, Lady Y/n, it’s so good to have you in our home as honorable guests.”
“As you it is you father - uh I mean Lord Stark.” I corrected myself blushing at the mistake I had made calling him something other than the Lord of Winterfell.
Tyrion nodded towards my mother even though she wasn’t quite as warmed up to him after what happened to Bran. “It is a pleasure to see you again, Lady Stark. I know my darling wife has missed you both dearly.”
“I’m shocked she even remembers who we are. Considering she’s been transformed into a Lannister in the short mouths away from her former family. You can’t even recognize that she used to be a Stark with the way she dresses and she doesn’t even carry her dagger on her hip like she used to. I’d say she’s a traitor to the Stark name!” My twin brother got his feet snapping sharply at me.
Sucking in a breath I felt some tears falling down my face at his words thinking that he might be right. “Robb, I…I’m still your sister.”
“You may share my blood but you’re not even acting like your old self. You weren’t always proper and here you are in a dress rather than trousers and a tunic. I know my sister and you’re not acting like her right now!” He raised his voice stepping in from of me growling through his teeth.
Our mother finally came forward yanking him away for our father to talk alone with him. “Robb that’s quite enough. I’m so sorry Lord Tyrion. We will continue this visit later.” She walked out of the room to find my father and brother leaving us alone where it was just me and Tyrion.
“Y/n, Y/n, look at me. Please look at me.” Tyrion pulled me from my trance of tears and just watching the door that had already shut in my face. Seeing that I was crying through some tears and clutching my hands into fists at my side.
Shaking my head I cleared my throat yanking my head down to stare at him in those soft green eyes. “Yes Tyrion, what were you saying?”
“I said it’s not your fault that you’re brother looks at you differently. You were forced into a marriage with me but I thought I was doing a good job and letting you remain to be the girl I met that day I said our vows to the gods.” He dropped his gaze to the floor with a weak smile feeling like he had failed somehow.
Dropping to my knees so I could be eye level with him I didn’t care what happened to the now stained red Lannister dress. “Tyrion, don’t think for a moment that you have been a bad husband to me. I have heard the horror stories of girls my age marrying brutal men who are rough, who are old men like Walter Frey or who only spend time with their wives to put a heir in their belly. But you are none of these things.” Placing my hands on his shoulders he finally looks me in the eye.
“Thank you, Y/n my dear wolf. Even if your brother won’t see it. You will always be a Stark first and foremost before you were a Lannister.” Tyrion sent me a smile resting his hands on my face leaning down giving me a gentle kiss.
Kissing him back I squeezed his shoulders smiling into our soft kiss. “You will always be the best husband that I could have asked for, Tyrion.” We would be there for each other even if our families weren’t friends.
Comments really appreciated ❤️

saw the hunger games prequel. i knew nothing of the plot, went in with zero expectations, and it surprised me. it's good. the only complaint i have is the length (the pacing itself is fine, though). it's not as punchy or dramatic or thrilling as the previous movies (if that's what you're expecting it's not) cause it's more of a character study and imagine my surprise at finding out it's actually about snow and not the girl as i had thought. well, i loved that.
tom blyth was excellent as snow; he's definitely got the range and is able to carry the movie on his shoulders. i was trying to figure out where i had seen him before and it was in terence davies' benediction!! watch that movie please!! i hope this opens new doors for him cause he was really good.
aiding his performance was the writing and the competency of every element in the movie. i don't really have anything to point out as less successful. the plot is actually quite clever and tight. i'm not saying it was brilliant or anything but it's just a well-made movie and it doesn't shame the previous three. the acting is top notch (especially from powerhouses viola davis and peter dinklage) although i thought rachel zegler wasn't as good as the other actors. she was honestly the weakest link for me.
overall, i loved that this was actually about snow. his character arc was really interesting and i LOVED the ending. i think i've noticed some mixed thoughts about it - and i think i know why - but i liked it. like i said, all of it surprised me in a good way. of course i'm not sure this story was actually... needed but i didn't hate it. will definitely read the book in the future

I was just watching an Actors roundtable on YouTube from last year which featured the likes of Nic Cage, Jonathan Majors, Andrew Garfield and Peter Dinklage. It was incredibly nuanced. I loved the depth of their answers and how well they all played off each other.
I cannot imagine Chris in any of these discussions though. I was wondering what answers he would have given to the moderator's thoughtful questions and all I could think of were chin puppets and Mario Cart. He has turned himself into a joke. Even his answers at cons lack depth. He would be eaten alive in a conversation with seasoned professionals who are widely considered the best in the business.
Had to go look this up, because it sounds amazing!
youtube
But, yes, these are considered "awards" level actors. Chris wouldn't be called for this type of roundtable. Now, perhaps a Marvel roundtable.
(LOL, though... wasn't Simon Rex in the infamous "getting kicking out of TV Guide party" video?)

Ok so I watched the trailer to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and...
It has so many spoilers? It is worse than when the 75th Games were shown in the 2nd Catching Fire trailer. The first half is fine, but the second was too much really. I will not point it out in case anyone who has not read the book reads this.
Second of all: am I even attracted to men?? How are people finding the guy playing Snow hot...? Not to mention the white hair, it looks so weird on him. Maybe it is the future murders but I do not have an inch of sympathy for him.
As for other actors, Lucy Gray Baird is perfect, no comments. I am really excited to see more of her. A suprise for me was the Peter Dinklage slay, I am really excited to see him even though I don't even remember his character. Disapointed in Sejanus Plinth, he is so far from what I imagined but we will see.

Hrhfdjhgk okay... I won't lie when I first read this ask I reached a dilema where... I wasn't quite sure what f/o you were referring to 😳 I think you meant Cortex, so I hope I'm not just majorly embarrassing myself here pffffff
4) Which “era” of animation is your f/o from?
This is a fun question because the short answer is the mid 90s - the original Crash Bandicoot was released in 1996. But it's not that simple, since the Crash universe took heavy inspiration from classic Warner Brothers cartoons from the 40s and 50s, and Cortex is no exception! It should be noted that a character that inspired Cortex's design is the Brain from Animaniacs, who was also created in the 90s, but was ALSO inspired by older cartoons. Plus, if I'm remembering right, there's an excerpt from a Crash designer who said that he wanted Cortex to look like he could have been a villain in the Jetsons, which is from the 60s. So, Cortex's design takes inspiration from a few different eras of animation, but most prominently, probably the 50s!
6) Is your f/o present in any sequels or in many episodes of their respective series?
YES. I think of all the Crash games that there are, there's maybe likw one single game where Cortex isn't at least mentioned, that being a Tiger Electronics game referred to as Crash 99x. (If I'm mistaken and there's any other Crash games that are entirely missing Cortex, I'd love to be told abt it!) I mean, what's a hero without their villain, after all? :3
10) Would you want your f/o’s source to be rebooted, or made into a live action production?
Uh, okay what I'm imagining is a live action style film in the same vein as the Sonic movies, which is ironic cuz I ADORE the Sonic movies and of course ship with the version of Robotnik exclusive to those films, but like... Idk man. That'd be weird 🤨 To be fair, I saw some fanart on Reddit a while ago of a live action concept of Peter Dinklage as Cortex, and it didn't look. Awful, but it'd still just be weird conceptually 😂 I think if Crash were developed into a movie or show, it'd work best fully animated!
That being said... I'd be remissed to not mention the Crash cartoon that was unfortunately cancelled a few years ago. I still really wish they would have gone through with making that. I think it would have been good! 😭😭
💜 ask game here! 💜

The Hunger Games Return: A Deep Dive into “The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes”
Tumblr media
Hey there, movie enthusiasts! Settle in because on November 17, 2023, “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” graced the screens, treating fans to a captivating journey into the dark and enthralling world of Panem. Under the skillful direction of Francis Lawrence and based on Suzanne Collins’ prequel novel, the film promised to unveil the mysteries of the Hunger Games’ origins, unfolding a tale set 64 years before Katniss Everdeen’s iconic arrival to the arena.
A Glimpse into Panem’s Past: Coriolanus Snow’s Tale Unfolds
Now, let’s dive into Panem’s past with the main man himself, young Coriolanus Snow, played by Tom Blyth. He’s navigating the tricky terrain of the 10th Annual Hunger Games, once a part of the fallen Snow family. Now, he’s unexpectedly thrown into the role of mentor for Lucy Gray Baird, played by Rachel Zegler, a tribute from the struggling District 12. The film explores Snow’s moral struggles, tangled relationships, and his surprising journey from privilege to the edge of power.
Star-Studded Ensemble: A Stellar Cast Graces the Screen
And can we talk about the cast? A bunch of stars that had us counting down the days! Viola Davis, Peter Dinklage, and Jason Schwartzman brought their A-game. Davis rocked as Dr. Volumnia Gaul, the mastermind Gamemaker with a seriously sinister imagination. Dinklage was the brains behind the Hunger Games as Casca Highbottom, and Schwartzman added humor and charisma as Lucretius “Lucky” Flickerman, a distant relative of the original trilogy’s charming host.
Beyond Survival: Privilege, Exploitation, and Power Unveiled
Now, “The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” wasn’t your typical survival thriller. It went beyond the previous Hunger Games entries, digging into deeper topics — privilege, exploitation, and power. All of this unfolds in a condemned amphitheater where the lives of tributes hang in the balance. Coriolanus’ moral tug-of-war and his intricate bond with Lucy Gray Baird promised a storyline packed with unexpected twists, giving us a fresh take on Capitol society.
With a mix of new faces and familiar elements from the Hunger Games universe, the film hit the sweet spot. This movie works as a great expansion of the world created by Suzanne Collins. As we got lost in the roots of Panem’s most infamous tradition, “The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” is set to make a lasting mark on the Hunger Games legacy. It was a thrilling and thought-provoking joyride, inviting us to revisit the dystopian universe that first captured our hearts and witness the rise of a young Coriolanus Snow. Fingers crossed the odds stay forever in our favor!
