11th March 2024 - update

1607 words this evening! Very pleased with myself as I wrote only 608 before work this morning, and wrote this evening, even though I felt very odd and not at all well after my shift. I love my lap desk, I love Scrivener, and I love my stuffies - I love everything that makes it so much easier for me to write in moments when it would otherwise be very difficult.

Katharina has just met Elisabeth for the first time, and is about to play the harpsichord for Elisabeth and her brothers... but I will write that scene tomorrow. Right now, I must sleep!

12th March 2024 - update

I've just written about 500 words in the last 20 minutes (I love writing quickly - it's so good to be able to get my thoughts out on the page as quickly as they happen!), for Chapter Three. I'm currently on Scene 15 (I think I have about three scenes skipped left to be written later before that, so I've got about 11 complete so far), where Katharina meets Rupert and Peter Meyer. Elisabeth Meyer and her brothers are instrumental in convincing Katharina that her music is worth pursuing, no matter what her father says... what's going to come of that?

My total for this month and this draft now sits at 12,194 words!
