wait I saw your post about glow and I didn’t know that the jacket was made specifically for the game? does this apply to any others? only ones I can recall arecharles and ame to Petra and nomad
there's actually a few. balloon songs are a weird little oddity where most of them switch jacket art depending on if you're playing vsinger or SEKAI ver. The charles jacket for vsinger is cropped from the main art of the original, and i think nomad is as well. Ame to Petra and the SEKAI ver jacket for Charles seem to be game-exclusive (and Nomad SEKAI ver is game-exclusive by default).
because a decent amount of vocaloid songs don't have official CD jackets, most of the ones in game used cropped versions of the MV artwork. sometimes these are also edited to fit certain things on the jacket, such as Rin-chan Now!, which was specifically designed to make use of the way the song jacket displays in a show when you have MV turned off. While the whole jacket is displayed on the back screen, the two little screens to either side show Miku and Luka (if this is a confusing description just look at this video)
for some other examples, Ifuudoudou has a jacket designed exclusively for the original game - I reckon they might've deemed the original too lewd lol.
On the rocks, Asu no Yozora Shoukaihan, Aoku Kakero!, Happy Synthesiser, Viva Happy, Sweet Magic, Miracle Paint are some other examples. Generally a lot of the older covers and some vsinger songs added very early on have jackets made for the game, but more recent ones just use the official jacket or the MV art. I reckon it might’ve been a thing of adding a title onto the jacket but then they just gave up on it eventually.

Ghost Train Orchestra & Kronos Quartet - Songs and Symphoniques: The Music of Moondog
On "Songs and Symphoniques: The Music of Moondog," Ghost Train Orchestra teams up with the trailblazing Kronos Quartet to celebrate and reimagine the music of Louis Hardin, aka Moondog, the ground-breaking composer and poet who lived on the streets of New York City in the 50s and 60s, and influenced the minimalists Philip Glass, Steve Reich and Terry Riley. A blind composer who moved from Kansas to New York City and built his own instruments and mythology, Moondog's story and music continue to be an inspiration to many. Along with guests Sam Amidon, Jarvis Cocker, Petra Haden, Karen Mantler, Marissa Nadler, Aoife O'Donovan, Rufus Wainwright and Joan Wasser, the two groups explore Moondog's sense of whimsy, wonder and adventure through a cross-section of songs and instrumentals for large ensemble, string ensemble, percussion and voice. The vinyl and CD packages include an essay by biographer Robert Scotto, Moondog's song lyrics, extensive in-studio photographs by Dan Efram, and an interview with Kronos Quartet founder David Harrington and Ghost Train Orchestra founder Brian Carpenter, mediated by music historian Irwin Chusid. Kronos Quartet David Harrington - violin John Sherba - violin Hank Dutt - viola Sunny Yang - cello Ghost Train Orchestra Brian Carpenter, trumpet, harmonica, vocals Andy Laster, alto saxophone, flute Dennis Lichtman, clarinet Matt Bauder, bass clarinet, tenor, baritone saxophones Sara Schoenbeck, bassoon Curtis Hasselbring, trombone, guitar Ron Caswell, tuba Brandon Seabrook, guitar Chris Lightcap, bass Rob Garcia, drums David Cossin, marimba, percussion Maxim Moston, violin Colin Stetson, bass saxophone Guests: Sam Amidon, Jarvis Cocker, Petra Haden, Karen Mantler, Marissa Nadler, Aoife O'Donovan, Rufus Wainwright, and Joan Wasser All new arrangements by Ghost Train Orchestra Dedicated to the memory of Hal Willner

well! I finally got that free time I was waiting for so I managed to take a lot of photos of the g witch season 2 volume 2 blu-ray box featuring our very own el presidente guelito jeturk! 🦁🎉 I'll put them all under the read more where I break them down by sections, too!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
first section is the outer box, of course, and can I just say. if somebody sold even just the outer box on mercari (like somebody did for shaddiq's cover, I remember reading somewhere), I would be so tempted to buy it. handsome boy notwithstanding, this thing would actually make such a handsome and fun a5 document holder! the red is just so attractive to the eyes and check out that gold stamping! like the whole thing just really looks so executive.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and I really love the choice of foil silhouette, too. this is guel's revival from the penultimate version of the season 2 opener. his choice of dialogue has...far too many...ellipses...for...my tastes...but we know how important it is to his arc so it belongs there. I just wish they got rid of even just one ellipsis cause it doesn't make sense without the drama of the source scene.
Tumblr media
here's the rest of the contents of the box! there's the actual disc box, a special booklet in guel's primary colors, then two sets of end cards, one for the anime and another for the audio drama
Tumblr media
aside from the handsome boy at the front, the other part that convinced me to buy this blu-ray volume is the stunning spread of the darilbalde by ippei gyoubu as the disc box jacket. now I can finally say that I own one of his artworks!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the close-ups are just to show the gloss and the material used
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and here are the actual discs! and a sneak peek of my curtains oops. I haven't had the time to watch/listen to the cds yet but the red one contains episodes 16 to 18, the season 2 digest (I think this is the one narrated by noto mamiko-san?), the 2nd and 3rd versions of the season 2 opener and the jeturk house's audio commentary of episode 17. and by jeturk house, I mean everyone's voice actors, of course: azakami youhei for guel, takeo otsuka for lauda, takada yuuki for felsi, hirose yuuki for petra and yamashita taiki for kamil.
the silver one is for the two audio dramas: sophie and norea before the dawn (of fold) and izakaya prospera (which is a modern au setting where the jeturk's business is a flower shop which vim manages because his boys are too into basketball).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the special booklet talks about the episodes, the characters, the world, and has some special interviews from miyahara youhei who is the technical director and kodera shouta, director of photography. if anyone's interested with these interviews, please let me know and I'll take clear photos!
(by the way, the line at the side of the episode 17 summary is guel's oshi line, "I'm grateful to you. You're important to me." as far as his mentions in the summaries are concerned, episode 17 just says that miorine chose him as suletta's final duel and he won against her, and episode 18 just says that miorine and guel have started working together for the presidential election)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the characters section gives us more information about the, well, characters as of episodes 16 to 18. guel's captions read (edited from the machine translation):
the long text:
After the Plant Queta attack, he was taken prisoner by the Dawn of Fold, but returned from Earth in order to rebuild the Jetark Company, which connects him to his father. After returning to school, he finally wins his third duel with Suletta. He has become CEO in place of his younger brother Lauda, who was serving as acting CEO of Jeturk Company, and is working with and supporting Miorine, who is running for president. He expressed his feelings and gratitude to Suletta, and now he is working for what is important to him.
under profile:
Affiliation: Jeturk Heavy Machinery
just above his full name:
Guel, with his trademark long hair cut short, showed his determination to rebuild the company as CEO.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the world guide mostly talks about the state of politics in episodes 16 to 18. the edited machine translations from top to bottom:
Jeturk Company Following Vim's death, Lauda served as acting CEO in Guel's absence. After Guel returns from Earth and defeats Suletta in a duel, he becomes the new CEO. Currently, he is working hard to rebuild Jeturk Company, and is supporting Miorine, with whom he has teamed up, to become the company's next president.
During his lifetime, Vim Jeturk secretly worked with the Shin Sei Development Corporation, introducing the GUND format into his company's next-generation concept model "Schwarzette'' and proceeding with its development.
CEO: Guel Jeturk
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and lastly, here are the end cards! I thought about just taking a photo of the front but the artist credits (and icons in the case of the audio dramas) are at the back and I didn't want to leave them out. the first two photos are the audio drama end cards while the last three are the anime ones. they're fairly thin and they're not glossy! check out the reflection on the episode 17 end card.
if anyone is curious about other parts of the blu-ray volume that I excluded from this post, please let me know!

you do not have to answer if you don't want to, but.do you have any idea which party you're going to vote for during the federal elections in belgium, because i'm.honestly at a loss atm
Yeah, I understand. The choice is def not easy.
First of all, the won't vote for parties:
Those that want to split Belgium in any way. Racists. Vlaams Belang being the most extreme obv. The Federal states ~solution~ Bart De Wever is bringing is bull and will only make the discrepancy bigger. Working together and sharing the wealth and workforce is the way to go here.
Never been a big CD&V fan. They haven't been doing the best of jobs historically. Also I am generally against the Catholic notion :) Hilde Crevits is the only one there I think is doing a fine job (on the top of my head). The CD&V are however a good possible partner for a lefty oriented government. Ze draaien zoals de tjeeven ze zijn.
VLD is doing a lot of shooting themselves in the feet lately it's becoming a sitcom (dramatic). It's a party that has always stood for the wealthier part of the population (including the ones that just think they are / want to be). So nope for me. (though maybe they did make the right decision appointing Paul Van Tigchelt, he seems competent at least)(so far)
So Groen, PVDA and Vooruit remain.
Why I personally don't want to vote Groen (federally) is because of their insistence on closing down the nuclear power stations. We should invest in them, not close down!.. Love for Petra De Sutter though, her cleaning out BPost is a good thing!
I'm not sure what to think of PVDA tbh. Them never having been in a government in Belgium before makes it hard. Buuut, they might have a chance soon. PTB (the Walloon version) is going pretty hard in the polls, so voting for the Flemish one might not be a waste in a Federal election!
Well, I think we all know the current Vooruit problem. Conner Rousseau's reputation sure is shit atm. He's a populist. I still think it's the party doing the ~most~ good both planning and historically wise. They also have the most chance of being in a future coalition. That coalition being another Vivaldi type. Lots of other parties, like CD&V and NVA will turn down PVDA/PTB, and very much favour a coalition with Vooruit.
I know Vivaldi got some shit reputation, but imo they did an "okay" job considering corona and the war in Ukraine. (them mostly supporting Israel publicly is gross though, but in line with what Belgium always does (following Germany and the US and other big countries))
So conclusion and prediction
We either have an extreme right wing government with NVA and/or Vlaams Belang with the help from a payed Walloon party (De Wever is hoping the PS will agree here for millions of €€€€ because they need that money)
We have a central Vivaldi 2.0 thing with possibly MR/VLD, NVA, CD&V, Groen and Vooruit/PS (Bartje hates MR so they might get left out though)
Or we go leftie-liberal with PTB/PVDA, Vooruit/PS, Groen, VLD/MR and CD&V
Imo, the odds of the middle one are the highest and I will probs vote Vooruit because of that. But yakno. I'm not entirely sure either :))

Looking for more LGBT+ friends.
Hi, I'm Petra, a 32-year old Belgian woman (lesbian). I speak Flemish/Dutch and English.
In my free time I enjoy reading books, listening to music and going to concerts (Indie artists and singer-songwriters mostly) and I probably watch too much tv. Oh, and I’m a gamer (PS3/4, Switch, arcade and Phone games).
I’m a fan of the USWNT. And I really like to travel. I spend way too much money on Lego.
I’m looking for a Dutch or English speaking person between the age of 20 and 40, doesn’t matter where you live or which sex or religion you have. I don’t know many LGBT+ people in real life but I would love to get in touch with more of them!
Either emailing or sending actual letters/postcards/mix-cd’s/… to each other would be fine for me.

i don’t know how many people know about wendy carlos here, but i want to talk about her.
Tumblr media
wendy carlos is one of my biggest musical heroes. in 1968, she released her album switched-on bach. each track is a piece or etude by j.s. bach, not played on organ or piano, but synthesizers. she used a moog synthesizer—one of only three people who were using it at the time—to manually, meticulously create each and every sound you hear on the album, and worked closely with robert moog himself to tweak and improve the tech. her goal was to bring synthesizers to the mainstream instead of just being used in avant-garde, experimental compositions.
here’s a video of her explaining some of the basics of synthesis and how she recorded the album:
youtube
people loved it so much that it topped the top 200 pop charts for 3 years, its peak position being #10. IN 1968. in 1970, she won 3 grammies for it, becoming the first transgender person to win a grammy, over 50 years before kim petras. she wasn’t out, however, until 1979, despite having gone through physical transition many years earlier.
she went on to produce several more albums, including a “sequel” to switched-on bach, titled switched-on bach ii, and also composed the scores for a clockwork orange, the shining, and tron. her albums that aren’t film scores are pretty difficult to find online, but you can find switched-on bach and probably some of her other stuff on internet archive, and there are still some CDs floating around although i believe they’re out of print. please check it out, it is SO cool.
there’s so much more to be told about her, but i just wanted to share an overview of who she is, and why people, especially musicians, should know about her. she is still alive today. here is her website.

Artifact Guide (Sets)
Tumblr media
(See Artifact Guide (Stats) for the types of artifacts and what stats they can get)
Once again, Artifacts are an incredibly hard concept to grasp, but hopefully these explanations will make it a bit easier.
All Artifact sets have a bonus you can acquire by equipping 2 or 4 of the same set. Here is a list of 3/4-star and 4/5-star artifact sets and what bonuses they provide.
All of these artifacts can be farmed in domains.
I will not be including any of the Prayer circlets, as they are 1PC only and while they do each provide a certain Elemental resistance, it takes up a whole slot and I personally do not see the point in using them
If the artifact bonus is ridiculously long and complicated, I’ll put an explanation underneath the set.
If any of my math calculating the bonuses is wrong, PLEASE for the love of god TELL ME. I am SO BAD at math.

That was intense, but luckily the Sumeru sets are a bit easier to understand. Here’s Alejandro Saab (cyno’s va) annoying Zach (aether’s va) with his jokes
Alejandro Saab being a funny mf you guys are just too cowardly to admit it
** **
Deepwood Memories
2PC: Dendro DMG Bonus +15%
4PC: After Elemental Skills or Bursts hit opponents, the targets' Dendro RES will be decreased by 30% for 8s. This effect can be triggered even if the equipping character is not on the field.
(Ex. Alhaitham has the set, hits an opponent with his skill/burst, the opponent takes more DMG from Dendro for 8 seconds. This will also happen if Shinobu hits an opponent with her skill/burst even if she doesn’t have the set and Alhaitham wasn’t on the field)
** **
Gilded Dreams
2PC: Elemental Mastery +80
4PC: Within 8s of triggering an Elemental Reaction, the character equipping this will obtain buffs based on the Elemental Type of the other party members.
ATK is increased by 14% for each party member whose Elemental Type is the same as the equipping character.
Elemental Mastery is increased by 50 for every party member with a different Elemental Type.
Each of the aforementioned buffs will count up to 3 characters. This effect can be triggered once every 8s. The character who equips this can still trigger its effects when not on the field.
(Ex. I have Cyno in my team and he has the set equipped, then he triggers an Elemental Reaction (could be Superconduct, Overloaded, Hyperbloom, anything involving Electro).
For every member in my party who is also Electro (ex. Shinobu, Raiden, Lisa) his ATK is increased by 14%. If it’s a pure Electro team, he can have up to a 42% ATK increase.
For every member in my party who is a different element than Electro (ex. Tighnari, Thoma, Xinqiu), his Elemental Mastery is increased by 50. Up to 150 Elemental mastery can be acquired.)
** **
Desert Pavilion Chronicle
2PC: Anemo DMG Bonus +15%.
4PC: When Charged Attacks hit opponents, the equipping character's Normal Attack SPD will increase by 10% while Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG will increase by 40% for 15s.
** **
Flower of Paradise Lost
2PC: Increases Elemental Mastery by 80.
4PC: The equipping character's Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon reaction DMG are increased by 40%.
Additionally, after the equipping character triggers Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon, they will gain another 25% bonus to the effect mentioned prior. Each stack of this lasts 10s. Max 4 stacks simultaneously.
This effect can only be triggered once per second. The character who equips this can still trigger its effects when not on the field.
(Ex. Tighnari has this set, the damage cause by any of the previously mentioned Elemental Reactions is increased by 10%. After he triggers those reactions, the reactions do 10% more damage and then add 10% more DMG for every reaction triggered after. A max 60% Bonus can be achieved this way.
Also, even if Tighnari is not on the field but still has this set, whoever triggers these reactions still gets the bonus)
** **
Nymph's Dream
2PC: Hydro DMG Bonus +15%
4PC: After Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts hit opponents, 1 stack of Mirrored Nymph will triggered, lasting 8s.
When under the effect of 1, 2, or 3 or more Mirrored Nymph stacks, ATK will be increased by 7%/16%/25%, and Hydro DMG will be increased by 4%/9%/15% Mirrored Nymph created by Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts exist independently.
(Ex. If Nilou has this set and hits an opponent with any attack, she gains a mirror. Each mirror lasts for 8 seconds and each mirror gained grants a greater increase in attack) sounds a lot like alhaitham’s kit ngl
** **
Vourukasha's Glow
2PC: HP +20%
4PC: Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG will be increased by 10%. After the equipping character takes DMG, the aforementioned DMG Bonus is increased by 80% for 5s.
This effect increase can have 5 stacks. The duration of each stack is counted independently. These effects can be triggered even when the equipping character is not on the field.
(Ex. After 1 stack you get 80% of the base bonus (so 8% for those who can do simple math like me). At full stacks, you gain a 50% skill and burst damage bonus)
Even if the character is not on the field, this effect will still apply to other characters)
** **
Again, I know that was A LOT but now we have everything we need to build a character! I’m working on some builds for the starter characters right now!
(also thank you to @yerbalurks. they corrected a some pretty big mistakes and explained what those mistakes were)

do you have playlists for any of your victors
full confession i am a TERRIBLE playlist maker, like full 100% awful
i have songs i associate with characters, music that i think characters would like (not the same thing), songs that are neither but just sort of have a .... vibe? but they are all just IN MY HEAD and i never actually make them INTO a playlist because they do not jive in any kind of thematic way, musically
also I'm just lazy about it, I'll hear a song and be like oh that's a great Petra song (or whatever) and then forget about it until the next time I hear it
I'm friends with many many skilled playlist makers and I admire y'all but it is not a skill I have. I think it's because I'm from the era where you had one Savage Garden CD and found a way to make every single song on it about Dragonball Z

Taylor Swift has done that rare thing in recorded music in 2022 by exceeding expectations for her latest album.
At a time when even the biggest artists’ releases tend to perform less well than previous albums, in large part because of the shift to a consumption model, Swift’s 10th original studio album, Midnights, has stunned the industry in the past week. Its weekly sales are, in fact, higher than any of her previous albums by more than 100%.
Swift also secured the UK charts double with Anti-Hero debuting at the singles summit. Swift is the first female artist since Miley Cyrus in 2013 to achieve an albums and singles chart double.
Midnights (EMI) opened at No.1 with blockbuster sales of 204,501, which is more than the rest of the Top 14 albums combined. The album has also broken vinyl sales records for the 21st century, and secured the biggest weekly streaming total since Ed Sheeran’s Divide in 2017.
The result powered EMI to a 16.8% share as the No.1 label based on the All Music (All Albums) and (Artist Albums) metrics. The label also had the Top 4 singles (including former No.1 Unholy by Sam Smith & Kim Petras), and five of the Top 6 (including Lewis Capaldi’s former No.1 Forget Me).
Swift’s latest LP is the first to top 200,000 sales since Adele’s 30 in December 2021, which was itself the biggest weekly sale since Ed Sheeran’s ÷ posted 206,411 in its third week at No.1 in March 2017. Midnights is already the third biggest album of the year to date, behind Harry Styles’s Harry’s House and Ed Sheeran’s =.
Even before the final result, Midnights was declared the fastest-selling album of 2022 so far based on Midweek sales flashes. It surpassed the 113,812 week one sales for Harry Styles’ Harry’s House by the weekend.
Swift’s week one performance means that she has also beaten Harry Styles’ record for the fastest vinyl sales of the 21st century. Midnight’s staggering vinyl total of 61,948 was helped by multiple coloured editions for fans. It also sold 75,667 CDs, helped in part by the deluxe CD edition’s bonus track, Hits Different, which is not on DSPs.
Physical sales of 139,450 dominated the week one total for Midnights, but it has also been a streaming phenomenon. With 57,964 sales-equivalent streams, the album has the biggest weekly total since Ed Sheeran’s second week at No.1 with ÷ in 2017 (58,280). The ÷ week one tally of 78,944 suggests that it will hold on to that streaming record for some while yet.
Midnights racked up 72.5 million streams in seven days, surpassing Harry Styles’ 53.9m with Harry’s House earlier this year.
Of course, the streaming performance is evident on the singles chart where, as well as No.1 with Anti-Hero (78,993 sales), Swift debuted at No.3 with Lavender Haze (51,308) and No.4 with Snow On The Beach feat. Lana Del Rey (48,417). But for chart rules limiting a primary artist to three entries, Midnight’s tracks would have made up 13 of the Top 16 entries.
In the albums chart, Swift powered ahead of chart rival Arctic Monkeys, despite a strong performance from their seventh album, The Car, which moved 119,016 copies and also improved on their previous release’s week one performance by 37.8%. Its vinyl sales of 37,866 would have set a 21st century record but for Taylor Swift’s Midnights. The pair of huge releases helped physical sales reach a 24.3% share for this chart week.
Martin Talbot, chief executive, Official Charts Company, said: “Many congratulations to Taylor Swift on her fantastic achievement in topping 200,000 sales this week. We always knew this would be a huge week for fans of Taylor and Arctic Monkeys, following the release of their brand new albums - and their combined first week total of more than 320,000 chart sales indicates that their pre-release excitement was well placed. Coming so soon after a fantastically successful National Album Day earlier this month, the successes also highlight just how popular albums continue to be in the digital era – and suggest that the pre-Christmas sales surge is underway.” Midnights is Taylor Swift’s ninth consecutive No.1 album (including the re-recorded version of Red and Fearless in 2021). It is also her fifth No.1 in just over two years.
With nine consecutive chart-topping albums, Swift has overtaken Madonna to set a new chart record, generating the fastest succession of nine UK No.1 albums of any female artist. Madonna retains the title of the female artist with the most No.1 albums (12), but Swift has overtaken Kylie Minogue to follow in second place. Swift has also extended her lead as the female solo artist with the highest collection of No.1 albums this century.
Red (Taylor’s Version) became Swift’s fourth No.1 album in 476 days last year, beating the previous record of 518 days set by The Beatles in 1964/65.
For Midnights, comparisons with previous Swift releases are problematic. Red (Taylor’s Version) posted 72,319 week one sales last November, but that was not an original studio album. The same applied to Fearless (Taylor’s Version), which debuted at the summit in April 2021 with 21,145 sales.
In 2020, Swift secured No.1 lockdown albums with Folklore (37,060) and Evermore (27,532) - but both of those were initially digital-only releases.
Lover, released in August 2019, had opening sales across digital and physical of 53,015. The album marked Swift’s embrace of streaming, following the windowed release on DSPs of previous albums. Reputation, released in November 2017, opened with pure sales of 83,648 (including 41,795 from paid-for downloads). It arrived on streaming platforms some months later.
On a streaming basis, which is a more direct comparison, Midnights (on 57,964 sales-equivalent streams) has clearly outperformed its studio album predecessors for its week one total: Evermore (20,771), Folklore (24,050), Lover (17,891).
For the record, 1989 sold 90,336 copies on its August 2016 debut; Red, which started her sequence of chart-toppers, sold 61,779 copies in October 2012. As well as providing her biggest first week sale, 1989 is Swift’s biggest-seller overall, with consumption of 1,517,982 copies so far.
Taylor Swift scored her first UK No.1 album 10 years ago in October 2012 with Red, whereas it took Madonna 21 years to reach the same tally.
The Beatles hold the overall record, racking up nine chart toppers in five years and seven months between their debut album Please Please Me in May 1963 and The White Album in December 1968.

Teasers
In the teaser for AM 2 PM, the girls leave the club they were at in B.O.Y laughing as they walk out.
Across the street, in an abandoned parking lot, a circle of cars with their headlight on create a spotlight on the crews of dancers in the middle dancing against each other.
“What’s going on over there?” Juno asked. The girls tried to look around standing on their toes to get more height to no avail. “We’re not gonna find out by standing here.” Aurora starts forward but the other three girls grab her, pulling the youngest back in place.
“I think we should dress properly before going over there.” Moxy points to the costume shop next door to where they stand with a smirk. The girls pile into the shop.
When the door closes, the frosted door displays “AM 2 PM Album and MV Release Dec 2nd”
Outfits
During the video, AG uses three outfits. One for the performance video. One for steady cam and one for the actual music video shoot
Performance Version: The girls wore white, black and purple. Juno wore a purple hoodie with white jeans and black sneakers. Hannah wore a long sleeve dress with black knee highs and white boots. Aurora wore a white shirt with a purple paisley jacket, black pants and white sneakers. Moxy wore a purple cargo pants, a white top with a black long sleeve underneath
Music Video: These outfits were old school velour tracksuits (a la Cheetah Girls) with headbands in the girls signature colors.
Steady Cam: The girls wore classic 2000’s matching outfits. Each outfit, once again was in the girls signature colors. The girls all wore white cropped shirts with a sprout icon on the front. They all wore leather shorts and knee high combat boots. Over it, they had long sleeve plaid shirts. On the backs of the shirts, they said the girls' names and a number (Like Dreamies jackets in Deja Vu). Moxy=31. Hannah=99. Juno=18. Aurora=03.
Music Video(s)
The video starts with the teaser as it was shot. The girls enter the costume shop and begin picking outfits to wear
For a couple of seconds the members try on several different costumes. All of them are rejected. Moxy suggests all black. Hannah comes out in a swimsuit (“It's cold outside!! We ain't wearing that!”). Aurora in the Black Parade suits (MCR) and Juno in a dress similar to Posh Spice. Every look is rejected, until the shopkeeper leads the girls to the back room where four outfits live on mannequins. The girls look at the outfits, then each other before shouting, “We’ll take em’!”
AG walks into the shot, in their new outfits, crossing the street to where the circle of cars are. The girls take turns climbing to the top of a truck to see what's going on. What meets their eyes are different crews of dancers battling each other. The girls get called out by the winning team. They tried to refuse but the leader of the winning crew says that they're scared. And we all know AG ain’t never scared. So they march their way to the front.
The song starts and with it the coolest dance battle to be filmed (after you got served and the beginning of Stomp the Yard). The girls pulled out all the moves to beat the crew in front of them.
In the part of the video with the girls battle dancing, these dances are separate from the actual choreography. The only parts of the official choreo used is the chorus at the end of the song.
The rest of the video incorporated videos of the performance video, steady cam footage, and the footage of the dance battles.
In the end, the girls ‘win’ by taking the bucket hat from the leader of the opposing crew, causing the disruption to dissipate. The girls celebrate their win by dancing with all the dancers. The song replays as the credits roll
BTS
The albums looked like time machines. The were modeled after the time machine boxes that SM used for Resonance Pt.1
The PASTtime version was colored gold while the FUTUREtime version was silver. In the PASTtime version, the girls were dressed in outfits that resemble their past title track costumes but better. For example, the stylist took the SLAP outfits and upgraded them like the ones they wore for Emergency.
Nobody understood what a Timeline was until their albums arrived. A Timeline was a booklet filled with pictures of the girls through the years until the present time. Juno’s was the most sought after because her Timeline included photos of herself scanned from her scrapbook
AM 2 PM maintains the energy of B.O.Y while infusing 2000’s pop and hip/hip influences.
GO! was recorded during the girls pre-debut period. Go was one of the four songs considered as a title track for Time Of Day: Dawn. When it came to discussing the songs added to Time Of Day, the girls made a request to bring one of these tracks out of the vault and Go was chosen as the strongest.
Many fans questioned SM for switching GO! for Something Like A Party as AG’s debut track. Thus fueling the fire of those fans who think AG would be further along if they had debuted with a stronger song.
For Liberty Walk, Hannah sat down with one of Label V’s writers once again to pen the lyrics for the song. With their help, Hannah was able to write an empowering song about leaving a harmful relationship
AG was preparing for the repackage during B.O.Y promotions. Once the video was released fans recognized every time the girls spoiled the dance, lyrics or melody in any of their videos
The worst time was during the vlive they did after MAMA. Juno outright sang a bit of the chorus which sent all the girls into stitches.
The girls did a countdown live where they talked about the new tracks on the album. On the show, Aurora talked about GO
“GO'' was the first song we ever recorded as a group of four. Way before we were given Something Like A Party, we recorded GO. Personally I liked GO better than Something Like A Party. I was one of the first to vote for GO being added to the tracklist.”
“With this album being about acknowledging our past but moving to the future, we wanted to give our fans a gift in the form of songs we’ve recorded before. People may not know but when your favorite albums are made, dozens of songs are considered for the tracklist. When they don’t fit, they sit on hardrives until they do. There’s probably even more songs we could release that we recorded before Time Of Day: Dawn.” Moxy added
AM 2 PM reached 16 million views in 24 hours. The fastest AG video to reach this number since Breakout. Breakout reached 10 million views in 24 hours.
The girls promoted AM 2 PM for only one week this time because of packed schedules. They did win three times at music shows.
Liberty Walk was chosen as the lead b-side. Fans loved the combination of the two songs. While AM 2 PM is a dance song, Liberty Walk is an empowerment song. In terms of dance, Liberty Walk is a formation heavy dance with roundoff’s galore.
The AM 2 PM dance was inspired by 2000’s female dance choreographies. Specifically Case Of The Ex by Mya and anything by Aaliyah.
During the reaction, the girls were all screaming to express their cringe at the partner dance in the second chorus. In 127’s reaction, all the boys were mad at how close the male dancers got to their girls, whining that they didn’t have to touch that much
A couple members of dream were strangely quiet during the partner dance section *cough Renjun, Chenle, Mark and Haechan cough*
The AG channel released many videos during promotions. The one video that garnered a TON of views was the GO! track video. It was revealed that GO! wasn’t just a song considered for the title track. SM actually had the girls film half a music video for this song before scrapping it for SLAP.
Regardless fans loved seeing mini AG dance their hearts out in the old clips that were edited in
In the BTS of the video shoot, Moxy revealed that her partner was a friend from SOPA who was majoring in dance.
The girl filmed a ton of #AM2PMChallenge videos with the idols in attendance at MAMA. Moxy shot one with I.N and Felix from Stray Kids. Aurora shot on with Junghwan and Doyoung from Treasure. Hannah and Chaeyoung from Itzy filmed together.
The one that garnered the most comments was Juno and Haruto’s version. After seeing the two hug each other at MAMA, netizens were wondering where the closeness came from.
Even though the promotions were short, the girls reassured NCTzens that bigger things were coming on the horizon that they should prepare for.
For the new years eve concert, The girls performed five songs: B.O.Y, AM 2 PM, Breakout!, Do It Like This and Cannonball
Right after a section of AG performances, A video was played. In the video were various clips of the members of AG arguing at a meeting room table.
“I think we need to have two cover sections. One for girl groups and one for boy groups.”
“I want to start the ****** with Breakout. It's our biggest song. It makes sense to send the fans home with that song.”
“Is everyone ready with their song covers?” “We all have one cover and one solo right?”
“We should kick off with Cannonball.” “I actually wanted to use Cannonball during the last section.”
“Can we see the costume sketches again?”
“What’s the word on pyro. Can we have pyro in the venue.”
“****** ****, **********, **** ****, ******, and **** **. I think those are the songs we wanna use for one of the cover sections.”
The video ends with Hannah voice saying, “I think that's enough for today.” and fades to a black screen. In the corner in typewriter font, the words “AG Presents, Coming Soon”
