Jaime - When you’re having a bad day, Jaime would put on his most dashing smile and try to cheer you up with the cheesiest pick up lines. He would pretend like the two of you don’t know each other and he would lay it on thick with the schmoozing. It wouldn’t fail to make you laugh as he charms you just like he did the first time.

Sandor - When you’re having a bad day, Sandor would have no idea what to do. When you tell him that you’re upset he would freeze for a moment before patting you on the head and continuing about the day as usual. If you wanted something specific from him like cuddles or a bath, you’d have to be very clear about that with him. 

Petyr -  When you’re having a bad day, Petyr would take you out on a shopping spree. He’d take you to the nicest marketplace in King’s Landing and tell you to pick out anything that made you happy before gladly buying it for you. He would spoil you rotten and then take you home to enjoy whatever it was that he bought for you. 

Jon -  When you’re having a bad day, Jon would let you be in that state of mind as long as you needed. Sometimes it feels good to be sad and Jon knows this. He would simply sit with you and hold your hand for a while as you cry or vent or yell. Then once you’re good and spent he’d curl up in bed with you before falling asleep.

Robb -  When you’re having a bad day, Robb would do anything in his power to cheer you up. He’d tell stupid jokes and tickle you and share stories and kiss you from head to toe, all just to see you smile again. He’s incredibly cheesy but he just wants to see you happy at all times. It absolutely breaks his heart when you’re upset.

Tywin -  When you’re having a bad day, Tywin would clear his schedule to spend the day with you. He knows that with how little you get to see him that giving you quality time with him will cheer you up. He would take you for a walk around the grounds, simply occupying your mind with stimulating conversation for hours. 

Bronn -  When you’re having a bad day, Bronn would sit with you and point out all the things that are good about life. He would hold your hand and point out the trees and the sunshine and the birds chirping and the beautiful castle you two live in. He would want to show you that your life is beautiful in order to help cheer you up.

Jorah -  When you’re having a bad day, Jorah would absolutely shower you with love and affection. He would forget about all of his responsibilities, making you his top priority. He would cuddle you in bed for hours, tenderly kissing you and telling you how much he adores you. He would compliment you endlessly as he loves on you.

Ramsay -  When you’re having a bad day, Ramsay would ask you who hurt you, offering to kill them in order to cheer you up. When you tell him that it’s no one’s fault, you’re just having a bad day he would jump into caregiver mode. He’d warm up a bath for you, get you a glass of wine, and massage you as he takes care of you.

Stannis -  When you’re having a bad day, Stannis would be very attentive. He’d sit you down and ask what he could do to make you feel better. He would want to hear in your own words exactly what would cheer you up. And he’d give it to you. He’s a king, he can get things done. All you have to do is name it and it is yours. 

Oberyn -  When you’re having a bad day, Oberyn would make a gigantic spectacle of cheering you up. He’d throw a three day long party and invite all of your friends and family. He’d hold a huge feast in your honor and make you the special guest of the whole thing. He’d want you to feel like the most special princess ever because you are.

Dany -  When you’re having a bad day, Dany would take you for a ride on one of her dragons. She would want you to see the big wide beautiful world from a view that only you are deserving of. No one else would ever be able to say they’ve ridden a dragon but her and you. She’d want you to feel like the powerful queen you are. 

Brienne -  When you’re having a bad day, Brienne would do the simplest but most meaningful things for you. She would clean up the house because she knows you like it clean. She’d pick flowers for you on the way home. She would cook you dinner so you don’t have to do it yourself. Small acts of service like that to show she cares.

Hi. I have officially read all of your fics. I started with Awakening and was kinda bummed it wasn't finished and so I went and read all your other stuff.

I know it's not cool to bug an author to update but will you PLEASE consider finishing Awakening? Honest to God, I coulda swore you were GRRM with that story. It felt like GOT.

And I gotta tell you, House of Green and Black is a freaking masterpiece! I gotta know how it ends. It just too good. This could be its own novel with different character names and stuff. That's the kind of book I would BUY. No joking. I'd pay money to see this movie.

Gonna stay Nonnie cuz i don't want you to think I'm a freak and stalking you and stuff.

Please consider finishing at least the House story. If they don't end up together and the kids aren't ok I'll just die not knowing.

Sorry if I'm bugging you or creeping you out. I didn't know how much I could love this story.

I haven't written in years. I don't want to make promises I can't keep. I'm in a different place that when I started writing all my stories.

I didn't really outline Awakening to the end. I know where I was going to take it. I tried to keep that more book canon for Winds of Winter.

House, oh man. When I started that story, I never believed it would become this massive detailed plot. Several chapters in, I knew this was going to be a longer story than I had planned and then it started writing itself. That's when I had to actually learn how to write I suppose. I outlined, made an actual map, I have docs full of dialogue and scenes that came to me in the middle of the night, I made this massive timeline to keep all the details of the characters and events in check because time and fate is a big theme in this plot.

A person here that I hold very dear, said that I could change names and GoT references and this would or could be an original novel. I did go to some extent to choose new character names and places and how to include a fictional country in the real world of the early 19th century.

It's an undertaking I started and became overwhelmed when I had a mental/emotional crisis and haven't been able to come back to yet. I thought by not finishing it, and writing an original novel instead would be a good idea. But then I also don't think I'm a good enough writer to do that. So perhaps I should finish this story the best I can on AO3.

I should be the one apologizing. Anyone here that knows me, knows I'm long-winded as hell. And cursed with over-sharing.

Please believe that I love this story. Writing PxS stories has been one of the very few things that have made me happy over the past few years.

I still think House has a killer twist ending. I had a couple people try and guess and everyone was wrong. That gave me some hope that maybe I still had people guessing to the end.

However, I'm scared I'm not good enough to write it the way it should be. Or I'm the only one who thinks it's good and it's actually not and then I'll be eternally depressed.

As you can see I have a serious confidence problem that I'm attempting to deal with.

I just don't want people to think I'm going to pop back into writing. I'm in a weirdo phase and not sure if I can still do this or not.

I love and appreciate every single reader that has enjoyed any of my stories. I just wish I had a better answer that wasn't depressing as shit. I feel like Debbie Downer from SNL. Like everything I say has a 'wah-wah-wah' trombone afterwards.

Three Grossly Misunderstood GOT S7 Scenes (By a Small Portion of the Fandom)

1) "Touch my sister and I’ll kill you myself.”

Now, as many of you are aware, a certain part of the fandom likes to interpret this and other angry Jon Snow scenes as - Jon is jealous/gets angry whenever someone mentions Sansa and therefore, he must be in love with her in a non-brotherly way.

But let’s recap what went on during this scene. Prior to Baelish mentioning Sansa, he riles Jon up by bringing up Lady Catelyn (the woman who hated him and treated him horribly growing up) and reminds Jon of how she didn’t like him. This is a painful thing from Jon’s memories as he always wanted to be a trueborn Stark so right off the bat, these two aren't headed for a peaceful ending to their encounter.

Next, Baelish smugly tells Jon it was really him and not Jon who won back Winterfell in the Battle of the Bastards and that Jon should give him a little gratitude. Gratitude. Gratitude for the guy who sold his sister to the Boltons to be raped and beaten and then showed up LATE to the battle (costing Jon the lives of thousands of men and a friend - Wun Wun), didn’t even do any fighting himself, and he has the audacity to ask for gratitude? Yeah, so now Jon is really really mad.

Lastly, Baelish casually mentions, right as Jon is getting ready to leave the country (as, you know, the North has kinda annexed itself), leaving his little sister, his only surviving family that he knows of alone with his fucking creep, he tells Jon he loves Sansa just as he loved her mother. Now if anyone’s trying to say Jon didn’t know how Baelish loved Cat, please. Baelish fought Jon’s uncle Brandon for Cat’s hand and almost died. Jon knew. And then to say he now is in love with Sansa...this guy who is wayyyyy too old for her...yes of course it pisses Jon off! Baelish basically says “I want to fuck your sister and pretend she’s the woman who abused you as a child.” Any brother who just walks away from that or only gives the man in question a stern verbal warning is a horrible brother. My brother would kick someone’s ass for saying something like that about me and he’s my little brother. Jon has felt responsible for Sansa since she came seeking shelter from Ramsay back in season 6. If anything happened to her while he was gone on his diplomatic mission (Sansa getting raped by Baelish), he would feel responsible. So, just to deter Baelish from poking his petyr where it doesn’t belong, he threatens him in a classical Jon move that actually, a little bit, echoes this scene:

But I digress...Next:

2) “I didn’t ask.”

This one is pretty simple. Tyrion is, for all intents and purposes, a friend, to Jon. They’re on good enough terms with each other that they can do a little name calling when they first see each other again. This is a highly different scene from the one Jon has with Baelish. And, of course, Tyrion is trying to reassure Jon that his marriage to Sansa was only for show and Tyrion isn't the kind of guy who would force himself on a fifteen year old. Jon saying “I didn’t ask” when Tyrion tells him the marriage was unconsummated is an interesting comment here because it tells us two things: 1) Sansa didn’t tell Jon her marriage with Tyrion wasn’t consummated (if she had, he would have said something reassuring to Tyrion like, I know, Sansa told me, thanks for not being a dick). and 2) Jon, liking Tyrion, wasn’t really concerned about whether or not Sansa and Tyrion had sex. If he had been even the least bit concerned, he would have said something like “Good” or even “thank the gods.” But, as Jon is not in love with his sister and doesn’t care about who she’s had sex with in the past, he says “I didn’t ask.” Because, let’s face it, it would be creepy for a brother to want to know who his sister’s sexual partners have been. 

And lastly...

3) “What you did for her is the only reason I’m not killing you.”

First, let’s give this scene some context. This scene takes place near the end of 7x04 so Jon has been on Dragonstone, presumably, for a few weeks now. Back at Winterfell both Bran and Arya have come home now however, Jon doesn’t know this yet. When he receives the scroll from Sansa in 7x05, he tells the war council “I thought Arya was dead. I thought Bran was dead.” So as of the above scene with Theon, Jon thinks that his only surviving family in the whole world is Sansa. 

Now let’s back up. Back in season 2, Theon was sent by Robb to parlay with his father Balon in order to obtain an alliance with the Iron Islands. However, as we all know, Theon betrays Robb, losing him an ally and gaining the North a foe. Winterfell is lost, Deepwood Motte, etc. The ironborn reek havoc on the North, Bran and Rickon are displaced, eventually leading to Rickon’s death (because he sought shelter and protection with the traitorous Umbers). It doesn't help the North’s war against the Lannisters either as it places Roose Bolton in the position that eventually allies him with the Lannisters and betraying Robb at the Red Wedding. 

So all because of Theon, Jon lost both his brothers for sure and possibly Bran though he doesn’t have complete confirmation of that (he just knows because of Sam that Bran is beyond The Wall where he is likely dead). Theon’s done a lot of stupid shit. He knows this and even fears Jon killing him back in season 2 when he first took Winterfell when Maester Lewin urged him to give up the castle and take the black. “What, so Jon Snow can slit my throat in my sleep?” None of that at the time had anything to do with Sansa, it all had to do with Robb, Rickon, Bran, Winterfell and the welfare fo the North. 

Fastforward to Sansa arriving at Castle Black and being reunited with Jon. Though we never get a scene between the two talking about it, we can assume Jon knows what all Ramsay did to her or he at least has a good idea of what he did to her, Sansa telling him before the Battle of the Bastards, “I’m not going back there alive.” She wouldn’t tell him this unless really horrific things had happened to her, which they did. But, Jon also knows that Theon was the one who got her out of there. As evidenced by the scene above, the “what you did for her,” part of that line.

However, Jon’s anger at Theon here has absolutely NOTHING to do with Theon mentioning Sansa. Why on earth would it? Theon saved her. Jon’s not mad at him for saving her. He’s not mad at Theon for mentioning her. He’s mad at Theon for all the shit he did to the Stark family in the past. So, while Jon believes Theon should die for the things he did to Bran, Rickon, and Robb, he doesn’t kill him. 1) - probably because Theon is Dany’s ally and Jon’s on her island being given free reign to take and use her resources so he doesn’t want to screw up their arrangement regarding the dragonglass. And 2) Though Theon fucked the Starks over years ago, he has suffered at the hands of the same man who tortured Sansa and Theon did selflessly work to save Sansa (knowing if Ramsay would have caught them both, he would have done something horrific to Theon) and get her into safe hands - Brienne’s. 

In this scene, Jon is not acting a crazy jealous lover, going berserk every time someone says his sister’s name. He's showing his well justified anger at the man that singlehandedly had part in the murder of his two brothers and the taking of his home. OF COURSE he’s angry seeing Theon. But because Theon saved Jon’s (up to this episode) only living relative, he lets him go free. But that doesn’t mean he’s not gonna take a little of his anger out on Theon. Jon’s got a little of that dragon in him and seeing Theon woke it.

I was wondering if you could do a game of thrones preferences of the reacting to you having a miscarriage. I know this could be triggering so you don't have to do it.

Jaime - Jaime would blame himself for what happened. No matter how much you reassure him that he was not responsible, he would still blame himself for what happened to you. In his mind it would be about his inability to protect you. He would stay by your side every waking moment after that. He would never let you go anywhere alone, afraid that something else might happen to you. When he finally does confront the reality that you lost your baby he would break down in tears, laying in your arms as you both cry for hours. 

Sandor - Sandor would show no emotion about the event but he would be secretly broken hearted. At first you’d be really angry that it seems like he doesn’t care but in the end it’s just because he doesn’t show emotions very well. In reality he would be so upset. When you’d first told him you were pregnant he was terrified to be a father. However he would grow to love your unborn baby and he would find more confidence in himself as a future father only to have it all taken away by tragedy. It would completely break his heart. 

Petyr - Petyr would be confused as to what happened. Petyr Baelish is the kind of man who needs to be in control of his surroundings. He wants to know what’s going on so his way of coping with the information is to try and figure out what happened. He would read up on miscarriages and how they can happen just to see if there’s some kind of explanation for how it could have happened. In the end, he makes peace with the fact that it has happened and it can’t be reversed. Then he’d be there for you until you both begin to heal. 

Jon - Jon would be totally numb after hearing the news. Jon would very fully go through all the steps of the grieving process except at the end isn’t acceptance. It’s numbness. He wouldn’t know what to do or say to help you. He would just be at a total loss. He would feel lonely because he would feel like the only person who understands his pain is you and he’s afraid to be with you because he doesn’t have any idea how to help comfort you. He would completely isolate and spend a lot of time alone until he starts feeling like himself again. 

Robb - Robb would be a mess. He would be completely broken over what happened. To Robb, the idea of having a child with you is the peak of his love for you. So when you tell him that you’ve miscarried it breaks his absolute heart. He wanted nothing more than to bring a child into the world with you and when he learns you’ve lost that, he is in pieces. He would cry for a good long while, allowing himself the time to recover. Once he’s had his moment he is by your side, telling you how sorry he is and how much he loves you no matter what.

Tywin - Tywin would be shocked but he would maintain his composure. Tywin is a planner. He likes to have a plan for the future, including the future of your child. When you lose your child he switches from being in the mode of planning for your baby to nothing very suddenly. Being so practical he would suddenly start planning for what to do now that you’ve lost your child. It’s just his way of coping with the hardship, not knowing any other way to help than to use his logic and good sense to try and straighten things out.

Bronn - Bronn would be in absolute shock when you tell him. For Bronn the idea of being a father was a scary enough thought all on its own. It would take him a while to become comfortable with the idea that he was really going to be a father. However, eventually he does come around and he even gets excited about the prospect. So when you tell him that you lost the baby it is like everything comes to a screeching halt for him. He doesn’t know how to react, what to say or do. He’s at a total loss for words until he comes back to reality. 

Jorah - Jorah would be downright nauseous when you tell him. He would immediately hug you, telling you how sorry he is and how he wishes that he could change things. He would go through a roller coaster of emotions throughout the process. At times he would be overflowing with love for you. During other times he would be inconsolably depressed. Sometimes he would be so angry at the world. Other times he would be filled with anxiety at the prospect of something else happening. He would be a mess. 

Ramsay - Ramsay would immediately think someone did something to make you miscarry. He would be furious, demanding to know who hurt you to make something so awful happen. When you tell him that it’s nobody’s fault, that it just happened, he would be confused. However he would stay more angry than anything. Angry at himself for not protecting you, angry at the world, angry at the gods. Eventually he would see you cry over the loss and that would be what brings him back to reality when he comes to comfort you. 

Stannis - Stannis would be by your side at all times. As soon as you tell him, his thoughts would be with you from that very first moment. Making sure that you aren’t too badly hurt, comforting you, getting you anything you need to help you make the transition. You are the love of his life and he would want you to be well taken care of after something so traumatic. Once he knows you’re okay he would allow himself a moment in private to mourn but he would recover fairly quickly for your sake. No matter what, he wants you taken care of. 

Oberyn - Oberyn would be devastated. Oberyn loves you with all of his heart and he would want a child with you more than anything so when you tell him that you miscarried he would be really disappointed. He would want to be by your side all the time, offering anything that he can to comfort you. I think that as much as he is saddened by it he knows that you’re feeling worse and he wants to be there for you as much as he possibly can. He would spoil and pamper you endlessly just for a chance to see you smile at him again. 

Sansa - Sansa would turn to her spirituality. She would be so broken up without knowing anything to do other than to pray. She would think about what her mother and father would do if they were in her place and that leads her to the old weirwood tree at Winterfell. She would pray to the old gods for strength and guidance and the ability to take care of you in your time of need. It would be the only thing, other than you, to bring her comfort about what happened. She would pray over you every night as well to help you feel at peace. 

Dany - Dany would want to try to fix things to the best of her ability after you tell her. She would want to make you feel better as well as herself. She would bring you anything you could possibly need or want to help cheer you up. She’d tell you stories, sing songs, laugh with you. All to make you feel better about what happened. However she knows first hand that it isn’t that simple. You need time to mourn. Eventually you would tell her that by asking for some time to grieve and she would join you, taking time to mourn your baby.

Brienne - Brienne would bury herself in work when you tell her about what has happened. She would be really sad and the two of you would spend some time alone together, crying and just feeling your feelings. Eventually though she wouldn’t be able to take it anymore and she would make up some excuse about work. She would dive head first into some random project so that she has something to do to make her feel like she’s being useful. She would feel so helpless that she would want to do something she’s good at to do meanwhile.

Margaery - Margaery would be very panicked when you tell her that you miscarried. She would immediately be on ultra alert mode. She would be scared that you would get hurt again. She would be terrified that the process hurt you. She would constantly check up on you to ask you if you’re hurting or if you need anything. Everything would make her jump after she hears the news, simply unable to cope with the stress of day to day life. She wouldn’t know what to do with herself and she wouldn’t know how to comfort you either.

GoT 7x04 *Spoilers*

I am so frustrated with the GoT fandom right now. For SEVEN FUCKING SEASONS we been itching to see Dany use her dragons in Westeros. We finally get the first sight of it and everyone flips! Not because it was awesome (it totally was) but because now people wanna act like she's turning into the mad king. Like really?! She could have burnt all of Kings Landing, but she went straight for a strategic military operation. Unlike Cersi, Dany found a way to achieve her goal without slaughtering unarmed non-combatants. The battle was amazing and exactly what we have all been waiting for for years! I am worried about drogon. I assume someone is going to fish Jamie out and take him captive. On the Stark side.... HOLY SHIT ARYA!! Another reunion and lots of badassery. Bran giving her that dagger was some cold shit. We all know that he knows Petyr is a worm and Arya doesn't like him. He knows that she will use the dagger to end the man that started so much of this shit. That fight with Brienne was beautiful! I'm not sure how much more shock poor Sansa can take lol. Little Finger is clearly shook. And Arya is just told ya so! Overall This episode was amazing and I am still processing.
