So i a few months ago I discovered something called the "The Story of Peter Rabbit & Friends" animated series on youtube while i was doing my school exams. I've been on summer break for a month ive been rewatching that series and have become attached.

Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers makes me sad because Who Framed Rodger Rabbit has so much technical skill and passion put into it, I don't really care about the corporate collaboration element of it as much as the clear love for film and animation in it. Rescue Rangers just looks like it hurt to make. The 3D trying to look like 2D feels like such an ugly slap in the face to the long gone 2D animation departments at Disney. The whole Petter Pan plotline is downright fucking cruel to someone who's life was fucking ruined years ago for no reason other than that they were no longer 'brand safe' because they were spiraling out (seriously if you have not read about Peter Pan's original voice actors life it is a rough read).

I know it's too much to ask for, for Disney to give a fuck about what they make, but Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers really rubs that in my depressed little face.
