Anticorpi monoclonali E7 pluripotenti contro il Covid
Tumblr media
FDA Simplifies Use of Bivalent mRNA COVID-19 Vaccines for All Doses Administered to Individuals 6 Months and Older
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended the emergency use authorizations (EUAs) of the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 bivalent mRNA vaccines to simplify the vaccination schedule for most individuals. This includes authorizing the current bivalent vaccines (original and omicron BA.4/BA.5 strains) to be used for all doses administered to individuals 6 months of age and older,…

Covid-19 has wreaked havoc in the world. Almost every family across the globe is affected by it somehow or the other. This menace has rung the alarm bells, and most health professionals and doctors are aware of its after-effects.
Cancer patients and cancer survivors generally have a weaker immune system. Thus, chances are higher that Covid-19 may affect their overall health even more. Most of them are in talks with their respective oncologists and consult with their health care teams to ensure protection from this dreaded infection.
Covid Vaccines
Covid-19 vaccines are available all across the globe, and World Health Organization has recognized Pfizer-BioNTech, Janssen, and Moderna. These vaccines are highly effective and can deal with almost every variant of Covid-19. These vaccines are capable of treating the Delta variant as well. But people often succumb to various kinds of illness even though they are already vaccinated.
Although the Delta variant is considered one of the potent variants of all the variants of Covid-19, it has been found in recent research that Omicron is even more infectious. Breakthrough infections are caused through Omicron even though people are vaccinated. The risk of breakthrough infection has been considerably lowered by offering booster doses to those infected.
Tumblr media
Side Effects of Covid Vaccines
However, we cannot rule out the side effects of vaccines, and one also experiences pain at the injection site. The infected person often complains of muscle pain, tiredness and headaches, joint pains, chills, and fever, among other things.
These side effects are pretty common and generally disappear in 3 days. But the second dose can confer worse side effects than the first one, but again, one can come to terms with it in 3 days. But one must consult a doctor if the side effects still prevail after three days are over.
Cancer Patients And Side Effects
Experts believe that cancer patients need the Covid-19 vaccine, which also applies to cancer survivors. People undergoing cancer treatment also need it under the strict surveillance of doctors undergoing immunotherapy and chemotherapy.
However, the most disturbing thing is that cancer patients who have developed complications owing to Covid-19 have double the risk of dying than non-cancer people who are infected.
So, doctors advise not to offer the vaccine for suffering from anaphylaxis as harmful reactions can happen. It is advised to talk to doctors before applying the Covid-19 vaccine. The cancer care team has the best professionals to advise you regarding vaccination based on the patient’s specific medical history.
Clinical Trials
Cancer patients were omitted when clinical trials were held regarding Covid-19 vaccines in the initial stages. It also happened with the flu vaccine and the pneumococcal pneumonia vaccine. Some vaccines do not have any side effects during cancer treatment, provided the immune system is fragile.
However, cancer patients should avoid some vaccines like the live virus vaccines. Vaccines of Covid-19 are different from live virus vaccines and can be easily applied to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
Tumblr media
Special Precautions For Cancer Patients
People undergoing active cancer treatment are at a much higher risk of getting infected by Covid-19. This holds for mainly the older patients who have acute medical conditions with severe lung and heart diseases and diabetes.
According to studies, people suffering from progressing and active cancer have more risk than those cancer patients in the remission phase. This is also true for cancer and non-cancer patients, and most of us must pay heed to these facts:
Cancer patients must wash their hands regularly, avoid close contact with sick people, and not touch their faces.
They’re advised to avoid all kinds of non-essential travel. They need to avoid traveling to those areas where the rate of Covid-19 and the risk of getting infected are higher.
Those who are still not fully vaccinated must follow this, stay at home, and minimize exposure to the Covid-19 virus.
Maintaining physical distancing at this point is very important. It would be best if you avoided social gatherings entirely.
It is advisable to cover your face all the time with a face mask should.
One can only resort to normal activities if the transmission rates of Covid-19 are low in your area.
If the place has higher rates of Covid-19, it is advisable to follow the guidelines laid down by the local government and maintain social distancing. Masking is a must in such situations.
If you are fully vaccinated with basic social distancing, you can still safely conduct outdoor activities.
If you are not vaccinated, exercising and walking must be avoided in crowded places. A distance of 2 meters or 6 feet has to be kept from the other person.
Emergencies call for harsh measures for which it is safe to carry essential medications and your prescriptions for one month at least.
You need to update and create all the emergency contacts, including friends, family, and neighbors who can provide assistance and necessary information during such trying times.
Maintaining virtual connections with family and friends is necessary. There are many platforms for making phone calls and video chats.
It is also essential for cancer patients to schedule an appointment with an oncologist and discuss the risks and benefits of delaying and continuing the cancer treatment.
The cancer patient must also schedule an appointment with oncologists and use telemedicine and videoconferencing.
It is always great to keep in touch with the cancer care team, and I look forward to any valuable recommendations.
Tumblr media
Medical Visits Of Cancer Patients
The visitation policies of most clinics and hospitals have changed as there is a higher risk of exposure for cancer patients. Some of these clinics allow only a single visitor for every patient, and in some cases, no visitors are allowed.
Physical distancing and wearing masks have been made mandatory in every health care setting. A cancer patient must book a medical appointment with the hospital or clinic after checking out their visitor policy. The professional from the cancer care team will check out all the appointments through telemedicine.
The cancer patient can be at their home and connect with the doctor and health care professionals using video conferencing using a laptop or mobile phone. The doctor’s office will provide the instructions, and you can check out with the staff whenever you see fit regarding the visit through telemedicine.

the Pfizer-BioNTech bivalent COVID-19 booster vaccine is now available in LFK - got mine yesterday (plus the flu vaccine, which Walgreens was strongly recommending - do they know something about this year's expected influenza?). this is the one that protects against Omicron et al. Hooray!
(Less hooray is every joint in my body feeling like it's rusted, plus the headache and sore tum. Fever isn't bad at 100°F.)
WORTH IT.
Schedule your shot now!

Quote
The spy balloon isn’t hugely significant on its own, but it adds to the sense that Beijing’s competence has been exaggerated.
David Leonhardt at the New York Times.
There’s been a lot of hype regarding China this century. But a number of its actions suggest that its success has been overstated.
China is a totalitarian state. The government tries to micromanage the lives of its citizens. The way it handled the COVID-19 pandemic was an avoidable disaster.
The Chinese government foolishly refused to use mRNA vaccines produced in Europe and North America. Its own homemade vaccines were less effective and required the draconian “zero COVID” policy to keep the virus from spreading.
This article may explain why the Chinese government failed to effectively vaccinate its population when it could easily afford to.
Moderna refused China request to reveal vaccine technology, Financial Times reports
China has had a policy of forcing foreign companies to share their tech secrets as a prerequisite for doing business in China. Western businesses, salivating at the thought of massive profits on the mainland, mostly agreed. China was probably able to gather more tech know-how this way than through industrial espionage and hacking.
So Moderna (and likely BioNTech & Pfizer) wisely refused to hand their intellectual property over to the Chinese authorities. So the only people in China who eventually received the mRNA vaccines were foreign nationals who lived in the country.
As I noted a minute ago, China can easily afford the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines but the government has refused to import them because the companies would not submit to tech extortion.
When China’s zero COVID policy abruptly ended, the longstanding effort to extract intellectual property from the West severely backfired. Many of China’s top scholars, scientists, and intellectuals were among the numerous COVID-19 fatalities. It’s true that they were mostly elderly, but many still had years of productivity ahead of them.
In China’s Covid Fog, Deaths of Scholars Offer a Clue
Those are just the more famous ones. There are probably many additional less well-known scientists who died in recent months.
So the Chinese government is not only less competent than it would like the world to believe but it is also less competent than many anti-Chinese politicians in the West would like to have us believe.

🔆 Conclusions positives

Dr. Mike Lauzardo Photo Feature
I had the pleasure of shadowing pulmonologist and deputy director of the Emerging Pathogens Institute Dr. Mike Lauzardo who is also the director of the UF Health Screen, Test & Protect initiative which educates and oversees Covid-19 vaccinations to students, faculty and staff at the University of Florida and in the Gainesville community.
Over the course of a few weeks, I was able to shadow Dr. Lauzardo who has held more than 70 town hall meetings for UF faculty and staff, went on a press tour conducting interviews to educate and update people on the Covid-19 pandemic and encourage vaccinations and has helped Alachua County vaccinate more than 11,000 individuals.
In an audacious push to vaccinate 20,000 people a week for six weeks in Alachua County, more than 5,200 University of Florida students and Alachua County residents received a dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium within the first week.
More than 80,000 people in Alachua County have received at least one vaccine shot as of the beginning of April, according to health department officials, but this initiative aims to spread the protection provided by the vaccines to a broader segment of the population in Alachua County.
“Even though we all don’t necessarily have the same risk of the same consequences, the way out of this is through immunity, and the safest and best way to get immunity is to get a vaccine.” said Lauzardo. Immunized college students can be “dead ends” for the virus’ spread, enabling them to play a key role in protecting their communities and helping everyone return to pre-pandemic life.”
For more information on Covid-19 please visit the UF Health Screen, Test & Protect website.

Prof. Jaroslav Turánek o vakcinační genocidě
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Print Screen z pořadu Zákony Bohatství Prof. RNDr. Jaroslav Turánek, CSc., DSc. je český imunolog, farmakolog, vakcinolog a vysokoškolský pedagog. Je autorem a spoluautorem řady odborných textů a držitelem několika recentních patentů. Rozhovor s panem Turánkem a potvrzení mnoha světových odborníků dokládá to, co alternativní (vládou zesměšňovaná „konspirační“) média tvrdila ještě před začátkem „vakcinace“. Slovy vojenského analytika Martina Kollera se jednalo o „vakcinační holokaust“ s cílem snížit populaci lidstva. Celý rozhovor s profesorem Turánkem si můžete poslechnout zde: https://youtu.be/Hxb3B3oV0TM?si=sBdEcjlZyF58EWlU Read the full article
