Misunderstandings

Ok idk how to start this but hear me out...

If y'all don't know there's this guy called Phantom stranger (he appears in the young justice series and Batman: the brave and bold) he deals with the occult and things that would lead to great demise AKA world ending.

What if the JL heard of a hero called Phantom in Amity Park who was dealing with ghosts. And instead of thinking its a new hero that's possible inexperienced. They think that its Phantom Stranger(PS) and because he hasn't called them for back up they assume he has everything handled, and that's why the JL don't go to Amity Park, and decide to tell the residents they have it handled.

Amity looses all trust on the JL because what do they mean they have it handled. There are about 3 building with out structure damage caused by the constant ghost attacks and huntings (GIW +Mad Fenton scientists). So they collectively decided after 2 months of the same shit, to take matters into their own hands.

And then one day PS comes in raving about how his vacation has been so relaxing since no-one in the JL have called him for help.

Que people side eyeing and thinking DA FUK

Then someone breaks the silence asking: Weren't you in Amity Park helping with the Ghost outbreak?

Phantom Stranger: WHAT

everyone else: 'oh oh we fucked up'

One thing that rarely gets mentioned in stories is that Zatanna is quasi immortal or at the very least long lived.

She is a Homo Magi. In Secret Origins #27, Doctor Mist mentions that Homo Magi can live for up to 4 centuries. Some like Doctor Mist and Madame Xanadu found ways to extend their life span way past that.

Some comics like Catwoman Lonely City have shown Zatanna aging normally; either the writer wasn't aware or she somehow lost her longevity over the years. Anything is possible.

But imagine it's the year 2425 and Zatanna, Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Plastic Man, Madame Xanadu and Phantom Stranger are all hanging out together and sharing old war stories.
