FOUND THE MOST ADORABLE PHIDIPPUS FEMALE!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think she might be a Phidippus audax female but it’s hard for me to be sure!
If I get confirmation that she is one for sure, then I’ll edit this to say that!

my little sling is here early!!! aaa!!! how cute is this little fella!!!!
they really got these dudes names right in calling them bold, this lil friend is so different from the zebra and common jumping spiders I've encountered! so calm and curious and chill 🥺 they're already building a little home nest after just a day, and keep looking up at me and doing that cute little head tilt 😭 I love them aauugh
no name yet and I won't know the sex until they grow up a bit!! hoping for a girl bc they are the bigger ones 💪
spider posts will always be tagged #spider #arachnid #cw spider #cw arachnid so be sure to blacklist those if u don't wanna see em!

Bug of the Day - Arachtober!
An adorable jumping spider that would just NOT stay still after I shook her out of a tree branch onto my beat sheet. Probably Phidippus audax.

Bold Jumping Spider - Phidippus audax
Most of these lovely spiders are "Brayantae", a morph that causes the orange markings and patterns you see.
These lovely spiders and many more are looking for new homes in the US! DM me for an inquiry or check my sales list!

The subadult "female" I found a month or so ago molted, and he's a male! Really thought he would be a female because his subadult form had orange on his abdomen, and usually colors are only present in females. Just goes to show how difficult sexing immature spiders can be!
